”What, we have to sleep here” I screamed in my mind and then glared at Onew like it was his fault that we where caught here, well it was sort of his fault.
I shook my head, it was not the time to tell him that it was his fault since he would probably be sad and all down. Still I was the one that wanted to see the sea and I can’t be mad at Onew if he just doesn’t remember the path to the sea.
I started to chatter my teeth’s when a cold wind blew inside the cave, “Are you freezing?” Onew asked and looked over at me with concern in his eyes. “A bit”.
I saw how he pulled out a sweatshirt from his bag and handed it over to me, “here take this on”. I hesitated a bit but finally took it when Onew said that I shouldn’t worry about him. The shirt really had a distinct Onew smell to it. Which made me smile foolishly.
“Oppa I’m hungry” I pleaded.
“Where is your bag?” Onew asked and then started to dig in his bag, “I forgot it at the bus, I think I was so eager to see the sea” I replied a bit embarrassed but Onew only laughed before handing over a sandwich and a bottle of water. “Gomawo”.
“Do you think they are wondering where we are?” Onew asked right out of the blue, “I think so” I said but I hoped at the same time that they weren’t out looking for us, I don’t want to think that I’ve might destroyed their trip.
I don’t think I’ve ever tasted a sandwich that tasted this good, it was probably because I was really hungry and the water was beyond heaven. “Like it?” I smiled and nodded vigorously before I took on more bite from the sandwich.
We ate under complete silence except from the lighting that struck once in a while, maybe because we both didn’t know what to say or do. It’s not every day you are lost in the woods and can’t find the way back.
“Oppa how are we going to sleep?” I wondered and look around the cave, I couldn’t see anything besides stone, stone and stone. I sighed and let my shoulders sink. “I brought a blanket with me” Onew said happily like he would cheer me up.
“Yah did you plan for us to get lost or what?” I snapped a bit upset, like he had planned everything with water, sandwiches, a shirt and then a blanket. I saw how Onew stopped in his track and looked over at me with eyes I’ve never seen before.
“No I just tried to be nice, I thought that when we got to the shore we could sit down on the blanket and eat the sandwiches, and since I know that you easily start freezing I packed down one of my shirts just in case”
“Ohh, I’m sorry” I apologized and then hung my head low both because I was scared and then that I let my fears go out over Onew, he hadn’t done anything wrong. He had just tried to be nice and helpful.
I felt how a tear was sneaking down my cheek but I didn’t bother to take it away.
“Min Young I’m sorry okay” Onew said and then I could feel on of his hands under my chin, lifting up my head so I was starring right at him with teary eyes. “Min Young don’t cry, everything will be alright” Onew explained and wiped away my tears with his hand and then he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer to his chest.
“Oppa I’m scared” I truthfully said and waited for Onew to respond in any way, but he only tightened his grip and said that everything would be alright and that they where probably out looking for us.
After a while we broke apart and Onew tried to cheer me up with the image of Key running around like a mad man in pink clothes screaming our names in a desperate attempt to find us just so he could strangle us later because we made him worry.
After that he tried with an Ssanti dance, the only problem was that he was taller than the cave. So he had to dance with his knees bent, which only made it look even funnier.
Onew continued with his dance but after a while he stopped and sat down next to me, I yawned and stretched my arms up in the air before I let them sunk down to my lap again.
“Tired?” I nodded and took a quick glaze of Onew, he look really tired as well.
“Should we sleep?” Onew asked and handed the blanket over to me, “Oppa you are going to freeze” I said as I unwrapped the blanket and placed it over me.
“It’s alright, you are the one that are freezing” Onew tried to reassure me as we lied down on the ground, which wasn’t as cold as I thought it would be.
“Do you remember when we first met and you seamed to really dislike me?” Onew said and turned his head towards me so that he was looking straight at me. I smiled when I remembered how sad he had looked when I always ditched him as soon he tried to speak to me.
“What are you smiling at, stupid” Onew laughed as he reached out his hand and pinch my nose. “Ouch” I slapped his hand away and laughed.
“Do you know that I thought you where really weird at that time” I mocked and tugged on the blanket as a cold wind hit my face. “Just because I tried to be your friend?”
“Seriously do you know how annoying you where”
Onew had been really irritating and annoying at the beginning, seriously that boy could never stop talking and he would always show of his smile.
That smile that always makes me all warm and giggly inside.
“Oppa do yo…” I stopped when I heard a light snoring sound that made me look up on Onew and I noticed that he had fallen asleep.
I let my right hand wander up to his face and let my index finger trace down from his forehead and down his nose and finally his lips. “You are really beautiful” I uttered and let my finger trace along his lips.
I snapped out of it when the lightening struck, “God what am I doing” I screamed in my mind and let my hand sink back to my side and I realized that Onew was shattering his teeth’s.
“You don’t think it’s cold ehh” I smiled before I wrapped the blanket around his body too. Onew almost immediately stopped shattering his teeth’s and then turned a bit so that he was lying on his back.
“Your such an idiot, you know that” I said lightly and felt how Onew twitched in his sleep, making me smile like he had heard what I said.
I sighed and pulled the blanket closer to myself, “I wonder what Hankyung are doing… wait why come I just started thinking on him now” I was amazed by myself that I had totally forgotten about Hankyung. I bet he’s having fun with Yun Hee right now, he probably hasn’t noticed that I’m gone or more like that we are gone.
“And what about Sang Mi, does she know that Onew and I are gone” I exclaimed in my head, I begged for that she didn’t know, I didn’t want to bother her more than I already do.
“Ahh shit, why can’t this just be over with” I shouted in my mind and looked over at Onew who didn’t seam to be troubled that we are gone, well duh he’s sleeping stupid.
“Yeah and I should probably do that as well” I muttered and scoffed closer to Onew, when his skin came in contact with mine it felt like an electric chock and I shuddered by the sudden body heat. “Why are you so warm, it’s unfair”.
I took one of his arms and wrapped it lightly around my waist and then I placed my head on his chest, “this sure will look weird” I laughed in my mind and then pulled the blanket over us once again.
I could hear his heart beat in slow steady motions, compared to mine whose were fast and, and oh shit I’m not falling for him.
I starred up on Onew’s face one more time, feeling my cheeks burn a bit more than normal. “This is not happening”.
