Running towards then watching the girls every move. I finally got close enough. But she was already stepping off the rail. I grabbed her coat, but I was a little too late she was already falling. And soon, Her weight pulled my arm a little harder then I thought, because then I went toppling over with her.
“MinYOUNG!” I heard someone yell.
Grand river bridge stands about 3-4 stories high above the river bank. The water is rough at this time of year. Not hard core rapids, but definitely something that was difficult to swim against.
And seemingly I forgot, I can’t swim.
Well I can… Just not well.
The girl Haerin hit the water before me but just milliseconds behind her I was plunged into the cold water too. I still had a grip on her jacket. But we were both swept away by the harsh current.
It was difficult to get up for air but I was pushing with my might to pull this girl up while we were being thrashed around by the water. Eventually I popped up and sucked in air soon getting trusted right under. I soon came back up again. This time pulling the girl up with me.
I couldn’t hold on to her though, she was unconscious, and I was having so much difficulty keeping her afloat, as well as myself.
“MinYoung!” I heard someone yell, I couldn’t recognize the voice though.
“T-Take the girl!… She’s unconscious!” I managed to spurt out. I let go of the girl not being abel to hang onto her any longer but then I went flying down the river. However I saw the red jacket and I saw someone else’s body. Wait a second..
That was Kim ChoiYeon saving Haerin. That wasn’t my concern anymore. I was flying down the river and I got sucked under water again.
For some reason now, I couldn’t get back up for air, and I started to feel like I wouldn’t be getting back up in time. I was panicking and I didn’t know what do, I couldn’t see anything, and eventually, things just started to go black.

“Hyung! Hyung!” I heard yelling. “Is she okay!?”
“I don’t know… She’s not breathing.” he muttered.
“CPR HYUNG GIVE HER CPR!”
“Oh NO you don’t!” I heard Key’s voice. In that moment I felt someone being pulled off of me. I started coughing and water came flying out of my mouth. I opened my eyes, a little weakly and saw…..
That blond guy from lunch two days ago he was soaked. That I spilled all that food on. Key was there, he was soaked. Then there was that blond guy’s friends. I was laying on really cold ground. I sat up then rubbed my head from the dull pain that hit it.
“Minyoung!” Key said and sat beside me. “A-are you alright?” he asked. He pulled me into a hug. He was cold… I was cold… For some reason it felt warm though.
“Is she okay?” Was the first thing that popped out of my mouth.
“Yes… She’s fine, the ambulance came and got her.” Kim ChoiYeon said walking onto the scene. “Although I don’t think she’s fine mentally.” She mumbled.
I sighed softly in relief.
“Hyung saved you!” The one kid said. I looked at the blond guy who was staring at me.
“Thank you… uhm.-
“Choi Jonghun.” He muttered. “You owe me…And here I am saving you?” He said.
Key glared at him.
I smiled softly… “I guess I owe you big time…” I bit my lip. I looked at Key. “Why are you soaked?” I asked pulling on his cloths.
“See he tried saving you but failed…. Hyung beat him to it.” That one kid said and smirked. Key glared at him.
“Thank you Key…” I said and smiled softly. “Kim ChoiYeon.” I said standing up feeling a tiny bit dizzy at first but got over it. I bowed a full 90 degrees. “Thank you for saving Haerin.”
She nodded at me. “We should get you into dry cloths.” She muttered. “My house is close by.” She said. Just then ChoiYeon took my arm and pulled me away. “You guys can’t come.”

So, I was soon at her pretty large house. In comfy sweatpants and large t shirt. I had a cup of tea, and biscuits served from her house helpers. ( I don’t like the word maids)
“Uhm… Not that it bothers me…” I started. “But why did you jump in after me?” I asked. “It was dangerous… And you barely know me.”
“I don’t know…” She said. “I don’t have a lot of friends. And although I just met you… I felt the urge to help you after I saw your reaction at the dance club.” She explained.
“So what happened?” I asked
“Those guys you were with there were freaking out… All of us left together to find you staring at the scene. Once you two fell, That Key guy yelled your name and ran to the railing. I just jumped in after you… and after I saved Haerin, Key swam passed me. That…. Jo-.. The blond guy was on the banks with his friends and he jumped in after you and pulled you out just before Key got to you.”
--------“Here on the seen of attempted suicide, we have footage of the girl who tried to save Haerin from jumping, unfortunately falling as well. Both are unharmed thankfully thanks to their savours. As it turns out one of the savours is the President Kim‘s daughter!” The news said. Then they showed the same thing where Haerin started falling and me flying over with her. I saw Key then run straight to the railing and then ChoiYeon jump over the edge.
Well.. Its been one hell of a day.
“So… Want to be friends? I owe you.. For helping me today.” I smiled.
She looked at me with an eyebrow raised. “I don’t see why not…” She mumbled. “You lead an interesting life… I think it would be amusing to watch it.” ChoiYeon smirked.
She was so cool.

So I received her email and phone number and added it to my contacts on my phone. I was really happy, Choiyeon was such a cool person. I learned she was two years older then me… She was a perfect person to look up to.
When I got home that day, JongHyun, Taemin, EunHyuk, Onew, Key, and Hyung Jong were all there.
“Are you OKAY!?” JongHyun ran towards me shaking me.
“YES!??” I was confused as to why he was shaking me so roughly if he wanted to know if I was okay.
“Get off her.” Key pushed him.
“I was so worried!” JongHyun said and then pulled me into a hug.
“I said get off her!” Key yelled and ripped him off me.
“But I was worried Key!” JongHyun said.
“You can see that she is fine can’t you!? Stop being an idiot!” And soon the two of them got in an argument.
Uncle then came flying through the door.
“MINYOUNG!” He yelled, then he dropped all his things and ran to me. He then pulled me into a hug. “Are You okay? Are You hurt!? WHY DI DYOU DO THAT!?” He yelled.
With all this commotion I was getting dizzy.
“Okay everyone calm down.” Hyung Jong said.
So, we sat around the dining room table discussing what happened over today. Uncle was angry that I did something so recklessly, but he understood that I did it thinking that I wasn’t going to fall over the side too.
Uncle only came home that evening and soon he was off again for another business trip. He was happy to see that the apartment was still getting taken care of, although Key usually was the one cooking for me every now and again.
Soooo The next day… My last day in class DS10
“You’re switching classes again?” Eunhyuk asked.
“Yepp… By next week I’ll be in my new class.. It will be my final one this year though… Thank god.. Although I hope it will be a nice class.” I said.
“Mm… Out of the classes this year I think there’s only…. Haha.” he laughed.
“What is it?”
“Nothing nothing.” He said.
I shook it off and continued walking to school.

Once in class and everyone settled the teacher came in and started explaining the lesson, Blah blah
“Do you know what class I’m going to be in?” I asked after the lesson.
“Oh yes… I do.” The teacher said and pulled out a paper. “Looks like it’s going to be….. SF10.” he said.
“Really?” That was good actually… That was Hyung Jong’s class… That was also Park Jung Min’s class….
“That’s that Choi Jonghun’s class too.” Key muttered.
Damn.
Well I shouldn’t complain, the guy saved my life. I also poured food all over him.

During lunch we all sat in the class.
“I’m just going to go for a walk you guys… I’ll be back soon.”
“Okay! Don’t be too long this is our last day as a class!” Onew said.
I nodded and went out of the classroom.
When I was outside, I noticed Kyuhyun was in his usual spot near the old library. He seemed so content. Nothing has changed for him throughout this whole year and yet everything has changed for me. I sighed softly.
-Rustle Rustle- There was something near the bush.
“What are we doing here Mi-Cha!” I heared a loud whisper.
“I want to see Haerin’s savour!”
“But Haerin’s savour was ChoiYeon.”
“Well I want to see the girl who goes to this school regardless!”
I raised my eyebrow at the talking bush and walked closer to it.
“SHh! Someone’s coming.”
“OWe!”
“Uhm… You guys can come out…” I said.
Just then two girls came out of the bush… Well more like tumbled. And then a third one walked out holding a book in her hands.
“Are you guys okay?” I asked.
“You’re the girl aren’t you!?” One asked me.
“Uh- The what?”
“The girl who fell off the bridge with Park Haerin!” She said.
I nodded, “Uhh yeah about that.. I wasn’t intending on falling with her.”
“The whole school has been buzzing about you… “ The other one said to me. “Mi-Cha here wanted to see for you for herself..”
“Oh… I’m Yoo MinYoung.” I said bowing.
“I’m Kang Mi-Cha!” One announced.
“I’m Leang Phani .. And this is my distant cousin Kim Jungmin.” She said pointing to the girl reading a book. “We were forced to come along on this adventure.” She commented.
All three of them were really pretty girls. All of them had the same uniform too. It had SIYW Symbols on them so I guessed they went to the same institute as ChoiYeon.
“As much as I really don’t care, but other students aren’t permitted on school grounds.” Key said coming up to us. “If you guys don’t want to be banned from coming near this school, or get suspended from your own. You guys should leave.” He said.
“Shhh Key I was getting to know them!” I said.
“Talk to them after school.” He said. “If we’re spotted with them here… Then we’ll be in trouble too.” He said then pulled me away by my arm.
“Ah! MinYoung we’ll find you after school!” Mi-Cha yelled at me. I waved back at her.

“Now let’s take stalker pictures of P5 and sell them to the girls at school.” Mi-Cha said to the other two girls then dived back into the bush.
Phani sighed and fallowed her, Jungmin quickly fallowing.
