Chapter 5
It was now two days after the test, the results are going to be posted today. I was excited for them. The plan went through, now we just needed to know if it worked. The class managed to distract KyuHyun to the very last second before the test, I was very thankful and will have to repay them one day.
Although maybe beating KyuHyun for once would be enough thanks since the amount of studying I did just about killed me.
“Today’s the moment of truth.” EunHyuk commented.
“Right don’t make me throw up from the anxiety.” I said the disgusting butterflies fluttering around in my tummy while the teacher came in with the paper that held my future.
Mr.Lee slapped some tape on it and whacked it against the board sitting then taking a seat at his desk. It was really the first time the class didn’t fly up to the results. Maybe everyone was too nervous.
KyuHyun however wasn’t aware of what was at stake and while reading his book got up and went to the paper, Donghae who seemed to have forgotten since he was all smiles quickly fallowed him to the paper.
“Hey look, someone tied with KyuHyun for best score!” Donghae announced.
“Eh!?” The whole class chanted, KyuHyun was just looking at the paper. He quickly and discreetly turned his head and glanced at me before looking back at his book and returning to his seat, the rest of the class bombarding the board.
“…” I really didn’t know what to do. It was the first time KyuHyun had ever looked at me in the whole 2 weeks I had been here. It may seem like nothing to anyone else, but to actually get his head out from those books to actually looking at someone is a lot harder then one would think. My heart had stopped for the brief moment I think we shared.
“Well,” EunHyuk started. “This is probably the closest anyone will get to beating KyuHyun, I think we’ve started a revolution.” He laughed.
“Yeah but we didn’t beat him.” ShinDong commented.
“We didn’t need to beat him; we just needed him to realize that he isn’t the only one who can achieve good marks. Although, we didn’t really need to distract him.” EunHyuk explained.
“Huh? What Of course you did.” I said.
“No, You got a perfect score Min-Young.” EunHyuk said.
“I did?!” I squealed clapping my hands together “Yay me!”
“It also means that KyuHyun is a Natural Genius.” ShinDong Commented
“Yesung got the lowest score this time because of all the late nights keeping KyuHyun up.” Kangin laughed looking at the sleep deprived passed out Yesung at his desk. The bell rang and I saw the majority of the class barge through the doors.
KyuHyun leaving after wards still reading his book, but he was tossing earplugs in the air and threw them in the garbage when he passed the door.
“Hmm, guess we should’ve thought that through a little more.” ShinDong said.

That day in order to celebrate, the majority of the class went out to eat at the ramen house. Well, Donghae, Leeteuk, Kangin, Heechul, and the standard Shindong and Eunhyuk.
It was a fun night, and the majority of us were exauhsted from the project we managed to pull of.
“We may not of actually beat him, but that little glint in KyuHyun’s eye definitely sparked something.” Kangin laughed.
“Yeah, if he get’s perfect scores regardless of the topic why does he spend every moment of his life reading?” Heechul questioned.
“He writes too, while he’s reading Kyuhyun will write things. When he’s reading, he seems remotely happy.” Donghae explained, he was the one who sat beside him
“How would anyone know that, he barely expresses himself.” Kangin said
“Just because we don’t go around yelling our feelings and emotions doesn’t mean we don’t express them.” Donhae argued. And a debate within the ramen house started.
“I’m really proud of what you did, Min-Young, you managed to organize the whole class to work together and actually do something.” ShinDong said. “You Got guts.”
“It wasn’t me, EunHyuk thought of the idea I just implemented it, you guys did all the hard work and got the class involved.” I explained, really that’s how it actually happened.
“But think about it, no one really had the motivation to try and beat KyuHyun before you arrived and although Kangin or Dong hae-
“YOU CAN EXPRESS YOUR FEELINGS THROUGH YOUR EYES!” Donghae yelled.
“THAT’S STUPID DONGHAE.” Kangin yelled.
“Err, Kangin and Donghae didn’t get those perfect scores, they both know that they contributed to help achieve it, as well as get KyuHyun thinking that he isn’t the only smart one.” Eunhyuk said.
In all, we really learned a good sense of teamwork, and really how well we could work together. But yeah, I don’t want to be cheesy.

That night my uncle was at the apartment, he was telling me about his latest project. In order to beat another company out of a deal, some company called Kim Inc. as my uncle was going on about them for months. Well, back to what I was saying, inroder to beat out Kim Inc., MM Corp. created a slow down in imports and exports using their own shipping company that Kim Inc. used.
This ‘distraction’ kept Kim Inc. busy enough to ignore the deal that Google was putting out, and MM Corp. got the deal easily. Sneaky, and a little unethical, but didn’t really cause much harm MM Corp. was successful and sped up the shipping for Kim Inc. twice as fast.
The only thing was Google proposed another deal privately with Kim Inc. a week afterwards. Really Google got the best out of this. Weird. His story felt like what my past week was.

I spent the next week going to the library I discovered that Kim Hyun Joong, as I remembered, explained to me that it was pretty much abandoned. Usually I rushed out from class when the lunch bell went and explained to EunHyk and ShinDong that I had meetings with the principle this week. I didn’t really need to lie, but if they wanted to talk to me or see me during lunch then they would come to the library that I was enjoying peacefully on my own.
Besides practically everyday now, EunHyuk would walk with me on the way home, with ShinDong. Apparently EunHyuk lived my direction, and my apartment was on the way, the company home was nice.
Sitting in the library looking at some fictional novels I was thinking of the first day I had discovered this old library. Hyun Joong said there was a music room attached to it. Maybe I should look for it.
Well it wasn’t difficult to find there was a door with the words ‘Music Room’ written on it. Entering it, the only thing I could see was a large grand piano that was white in color.
It must’ve been expensive. I wondered how they got it through the door. The window was open, the sun shining through; really it was a very magical moment. If I wasn’t so tired maybe I would’ve appreciated that moment more.
Well, since I couldn’t find anything better to do, I wandered into the room, and took a seat at the piano. I had taken lessons back in America and continued them in Japan, however I stopped when I was 15 because school was taking up too much of my time, and my instructor was a little dramatic.
So I stuck to a song I new by heart and loved the most.

Park Jung Min and his three friends as well as Kim Hyung Jong were all sitting outside that day under the shade of a tree on the group of benches, they were really the only one’s who could hear the playing. ((I confuse all the ss501 names all the time They’re all so similar…))
“Mmm What’s that sound?” Jung Min asked.
“Someone’s playing the piano, smart one.” Kim Hyung Joon said.
“We don’t have a piano in this school.” Kim Kyu Jong commented.
Hyung Jong looked up from his book. “If you four went a little further passed the benches the old library and music room is still there.” He explained.
“Ah, probably some nerd whose playing it.”

KyuHyun was sitting outside of the library… If anyone can guess, he was reading a book, the usual. He looked up from his book briefly once the music started playing. He couldn’t complain in fact it made his reading much more enjoyable.
When the playing stopped KyuHyun was admittingly a little curious of who was playing it, and he wished they would continue. However he wasn’t the type to actually get up from his reading and look.

When I left the library, the side entrance, I wandered a little; I noticed from afar, KyuHyun was sitting in front of the library. It didn’t really surprise me the place was pretty secluded.
“So it was you.” Park Jung Min said.
I pretty much just jumped out of my skin.
“Um, yes?” I asked confused as to what he was implying.
“That piano is pretty much why that library hasn’t been taken down.” Hyung Jong said. “It’s good someone has taken an interest in actually playing it.”
“And you’re actually pretty good at it… A little depressing for my tastes.” Jung Min commented. I looked back at the library, more at KyuHyun then the building itself, I was thinking if he enjoyed the playing. He didn’t move, and he didn’t have ear plugs, maybe he was content with it. Regardless the fact that he was there made me happy, I felt a little heat rise to my face.
Hyung Jong was quick to notice and glanced at the library and smirked.
“My offer is still up, you can come sit with us right now. Get to know me.” Jung Min smirked.
“No thank-you Jung Min, I won’t be sitting with you any time soon…. I’m a bit ... Busy with something.” I rolled my eyes at his ego. He sure did like himself a lot. “Nice seeing you again Hyun Jong.” I bowed and walked off.
“I think she digs me. Girls just find me irresistible.” Jung Min whispered to Hyung Jong
“I think someone already beat you to her affection.” He replied nodding towards KyuHyun and walking off himself. Jung Min, surprised, look towards KyuHyun. He seemed a little peeved off.
“Oh really?” Jung Min mumbled to himself.
