Some people were preparing a wedding while Charmaine was in a little room. As the sky got darker so did her heart…soon her future would be nothing but darkness. Around 30 min later…a lady came in and dressed Charmaine and brought her outside getting ready for her fate…
Wedding Man- Bow once, Bow twice, and now towards each other…
Before they could bow anymore…Raymond ran in.
Raymond- Stop…
Charmaine froze the voice she had been longing to hear even though it had only been half a day she missed that voice…and also the person who owned the voice. She turned around to find Raymond standing 2 metres away. She looked at him as he stared back.
Sammul- What do you think your doing?
Raymond- to do what I should…
Charmaine- Fung Dai Gor…
Raymond- Why didn’t you tell me? Sheh Si Man…
Charmaine- I…you found out…
Sammul- Selfish…you wanted my father to save your Fung Dai Gor and then you two run off and then forget your promise with me…don’t forget…if I can save him…I can kill him…
Charmaine- It’s not…it’s not like that…I…
Bosco and Leila ran in…
Raymond- (his eyes without leaving Charmaine’s) Selfish? Selfish for what…She didn’t want me to suffer the pain of knowing she was the one I had always loved so she didn’t tell me she was my childhood friend, she knew if she told me I would have to suffer the unbearable pain she’s suffering now, so she told me that the one she loved and will always love was someone who had died…someone who doesn’t exist…she sacrificed her marriage to save me from dying…is that selfish?
Charmaine- I…gave you back the heart…I wanted you to know and come to save me
Raymond- that might be what it seems but that’s not it. It’s because you couldn’t bear seeing the half heart anymore…looking at a love story that could never be yours…it’s just too much for you to handle…
Charmaine- how…how did you know?
Raymond- Because Sheh Si Man…I love you…
Charmaine stared at him…she was too surprised to say anything…she wouldn’t in a million year guessed that those three words came out of him…tears started to roll down her cheeks again because he came and brought light back into her heart…light that she though she would never have…
Raymond- I love you, Sheh Si Man…(from his left pocket he took out a gift…a gift he was planing to give her on her birthday but he didn’t have enough courage…he knew now was the time...the right time to take the bracelet out and held it high so she could see it…the pink bracelet that said half hearted love and also I love you on it…Charmaine could believe her eyes…it was the bracelet…the one that she wanted but was too expensive…she took one look at him and immediately took the bracelet and hugged him…)
Charmaine- Fung Dai Gor…
Sammul- No one’s loving no one…your marrying me and that’s final…
Raymond immediately stood in front of Charmaine- Don’t you dare touch her…
Sammul- And what if I do? (smirked)
Raymond- You’ll have to go through me first…
Sammul- Fine with…(fainted)
Charmaine looked up at her soon-to-be-father in law who had just caused her soon-to-be-husband to faint…
Charmaine- Yi San…
Yi San- that son of mine has to stop being so…if he doesn’t stop now…it might be too late…it was all because of me…I’ve always given him what he wanted…You people leave because soon he would wake up
Bosco and Leila ran out first and before Charmaine held Raymond’s hand and left, she turned to Yi San and bowed three times.
They ran and ran until they got to a plain area of grass.
Leila was the first to spoke…
Leila- Finally we got away from that place…
Bosco- Yea…
Charmaine and Raymond were hand in hand smiling at each other…
Charmaine- Finally we got out…(to Raymond)
Raymond- I though I wouldn’t be there in time…(to Charmaine)
Leila- Hello you two…we’re not dead you know? (pointing to herself then to Bosco)
Bosco- Hay…just let them be…
Leila- I guess…but looks as if I got myself a brother-in-law
Charmaine turned her attention to Leila and then stared at Bosco…
Charmaine- I guess I do too…
Raymond- so what do we do now? Chung Chak, Ah Ling are you two going to look for Paul Chun and the go to the kingdom with us as originally planned?
Leila- (shook her head) I’m going to go to Chung Chak’s home and visit his family…
Charmaine- you are?
Bosco- Yep…then I’m going to ask my parent to get married with her…
Leila- Hay, Hay, Hay I only said I’ll go to visit your family… I didn’t say I’m going to marry you…
Bosco- ohh yea I forgot…you have to be my 6th wife…
Charmaine- alright you two…Bosco you take care of my sister…
Leila- yea…
Bosco- I will…
Raymond- When Si Man and I finish our journey…we’ll go to your house and visit you…
They all said their last farewells and holding their love ones…they left.
