Chapter 29
Arriving at Bosco’s house, seeing the door locked she banged on it with all her strength until her hand turned red…
Leila- Open it, Please open it.
After what seemed like eternity, Natalie opened the door…
Natalie- Ling Jie Jie, quickly, gor he, he can’t make it, he…
Running to Bosco’s room, she stared inside to see a supposed weak Bosco lying on the bed. Slowly walking to his bedside she then looked at the doctor.
Doctor- His at a critical moment right now, he has just in taken some poison that would either cause him death or like this for the rest of his days. The poison has travelled to around his body and at this point, we have nothing else we could do. Not questioning a word the doctor was saying she slowly kneeled beside Bosco’s bed side.
Leila- I’m so sorry, I didn’t know this would happen.
Tears started streaming out of Leila’s eyes and she thought about her stupidity as Bosco shook his head.
Leila- It’s all my fault I shouldn’t have lied to you I shouldn’t have told you that I’m not in love with you anymore and that I’m pregnant with somebody else’s baby.
Staring at her in disbelief he managed to utter the words, why?
Leila- I’m so sorry, I do love you I really do I didn’t know it would be like this. Don’t worry, even if you die, I won’t let you die alone.
Notting knowing what Leila was going to do, Bosco shook his head and muttered the words no, don’t over and over.
Leila- No, don’t worry, I won’t suicide but I know sooner or later God would take me and then we can be together not being afraid that your family won’t let us or afraid that God might take me away anytime because of my heart problem.
Bosco stared at her and it all started to sink into him, she didn’t want him to suffer knowing she might die any moment so she choose to take it herself…
Bosco- Heart…heart disease?…Lying?
Bosco managed to stutter…
Leila shook her head- I’m not lying, that’s the reason why I lied to you…I…
Smiling knowing that Leila still loved him he manage to bring up his hands and stroked her face. Leila immediately held onto his hands and placed it on her cheeks.
Leila- Don’t go…I won’t be able to survive…
Giving him the antidote, the doctors packed his things and left passing Natalie and Charles who walked in. Leila turned around and was going to ask the doctor what they had given Bosco when she saw Natalie and Charles walk in.
Natalie- Gor Gor, Ling Jie Jie…
Leila- Si Wing, Sou Kei?
She turned around and saw Bosco all well and seemed like nothing had happened to him.
Leila- Chung Chak, How are you feeling?
Bosco- I feel fine.
Both Leila and Bosco looked at Natalie waiting for an explanation
Natalie- Gor, you know when you were drunk and you said that you didn’t want to live anymore and I told you to take poison so you won’t be able to think or know anything anymore…that wasn’t really poison, it’s what I got from the doctors, its to let someone look like they are going to die but as soon as we give them the antidote, they get all better. Gor, you didn’t seriously think a sister would tell the brother to die did you?
Leila- how did you know I…
Natalie- Sze To Sou Kei…
Charles was going to give Leila an explanation but there was no need for that because as soon as he stepped forward, he saw Leila and Bosco in each others arms. He made them realise that they needed each other even if they had to part, they would enjoy every moment of being together and that they were going to enjoy every moment of being together. And they were going to both face her heart problem.
