Half an hour later, Raymond woke up and couldn’t find Charmaine anywhere.
Raymond- Chung Chak, where’re the sisters?
Leila popped up from the kitchen and shouted.
Leila- I’m here.
Raymond- Um…where’s your sister?
Leila- ohh you want to give her present. Well, she’s washing the clothes…
Raymond- Alright, I’ll go look for her.
[river]
As Charmaine was washing her clothes…
Man1- hello…I’m Chan Kin Fung (aka Sammul Chan)
Charmaine- (ignored him)
Sammul- hey, I’m talking to you.
Charmaine- and…
Sammul- don’t give me that attitude…I am a very respected person… My father wants me to find a wife…(went close to her) How about you be my wife?
Charmaine- How about no?
Sammul- Then there’s only one other way.
Charmaine- There is no other way.
Sammul- Really…(pushed Charmaine to the floor and chained down both her hands down with his and started kissing her neck, followed by pulling her gown causing her to show parts of her bare arms)
At this time, Raymond arrived to the river and stuffed the present in his pocket and quickly ran over, kicked Sammul and pushed him in the river. Then Raymond quickly ran over to Charmaine.
Raymond- Are you alright?
Charmaine- (cry) he…he tried to… he tried to (looked down and cover herself, there were no parts showing but her bare arms)
Raymond took his other coat off and covered her.
Around ten minutes later, Sammul had left. But before Sammul left he said to Raymond
Sammul- Remember me, My name is Chan Kin Fung and I’ll be back…
Raymond insisted they leave but when Charmaine stood up she sprained her ankle…
Raymond- I’ll carry you.
Charmaine- I…
Raymond- Come on… if I don’t carry you, we’ll never go home.
Charmaine hopped onto Raymond’s back and soon fell asleep. When they had arrived home…with all the stops and rests, it was getting late and on the table were full of Charmaine’s fav food but were all half eaten and Bosco and Leila were sleeping soundly on the tables. Raymond carried Charmaine to her room and placed her on the bed. He looked at her with admiring eyes and then went to Bosco and Leila’s room and got sheet and covered them. Then her returned to his room and hid the present he was going to give Charmaine in his bag and drifted off to sleep.
Bright and early the next morning, Charmaine woke up and found herself on her bed, suddenly, memory of what had happened quickly rushed through her mind. She quickly stood up, got dressed and went out to Raymond’s room where they usually at breakfast and found Raymond sitting on the table.
Raymond- Morning.
Charmaine- Morning…um…about yesterday, can you…
Raymond knew exactly what Charmaine was saying, she probably didn’t want anyone to know what had happened yesterday and especially not Leila.
Raymond- What happened yesterday?
Charmaine- Um…at the river….I…he…
Raymond- All I remember was seeing you at the river and then after you finished washing the clothes we came back. Did I miss anything?
Charmaine began to understand.
Charmaine- Um…nope. I…just wanted to ask you where are the clothes you were suppose to carry back.
Raymond- Me?
Charmaine- You forgot them didn’t you?
Raymond- (smile) ohh, I really forgot them.
Charmaine- (smile) then what are you waiting for, lets go get them.
And together, Charmaine and Raymond went to the river to find some of the clothes still there and some in the river.
