=====================================================
When ChangMin arrived at home, he was soaked.
Dripping water on the floor he decided to undress in the garage and leave the clothes to dry there..
Walking with only a soaked boxer on, he went upstairs to take a shower.
Driving on a scooter would get you more wet than riding a bike would, in this weather!
~
When ChangMin had taken a long shower and dressed himself in a comfortable old jumper and jeans, he decided it was time to put the clothes laying in the garage in the washing machine..
So he went downstairs to the garage.
(his apartment was a split level house with a garage underneath..)
~
In the garage he took his wet clothes and brought them back upstairs.
Then he went downstairs again..
- I can walk a marathon in this house! -
He still had his bag in his buddy and he needed to make some homework, English, although he probably won't get much done anyway..
The day was almost over and he needed to practise for tomorrow's dance battle.
On top of that, his body was tired and his mind was somewhere else, somewhere pretty, somewhere nicer, somewhere soft, with DaMae..
~
As ChangMin opened his buddy, he immediately caught sight of DaMae's bag..
Uh-oh! She will need that tomorrow!
Maybe she still wanted to practise the poem she'll read tomorrow..
From pure curiosity he opened her bag.
Something in his mind told him he shouldn't, but the little devil on his left shoulder whispered: 'You're her boyfriend, you have no secrets for each other! She won't mind it if you take a look..'
~
Carefully he emptied the bag on the table in the kitchen.
A cell phone, 2 books, a notebook, 3 pencils, keys, a HelloKitty-purse, mascara, a little mirror that you can flip open, an agenda, a roll of mints, chewing gum, a note of absence not delivered to school yet.. and.. yuk.. a tampon..
It was clean of course, but still, too much information to ChangMin..
Mental note: how curious you might be, never listen to the little devil on your left shoulder.. when it comes to the bag of a woman at least.
~
When ChangMin had put DaMae's things back in her bag, he debated about going back to DaMae's house..
He was not looking forward to doing that, it rained even more outside and ChangMin started to get hungry..
Besides, the paper with DaMae's poem on it wasn't in her bag..
So basically, she didn't really need her bag before tomorrow morning.
He would bring it to her on his way to school!
He was going to pick her up anyway..
She didn't know that yet, but now he had an excuse!
And she couldn't refuse his ride, she was his girlfriend..
It sounded so nice..
His girlfriend..
*Sigh*
Love is such a wonderful feeling, ChangMin thought.
~
While ChangMin was preparing dinner (read: microwaving an instant meal), he heard a ringtone that wasn't his..
It took ChangMin some time to realize it was DaMae's cell phone.
Answer it? ChangMin thought.
When he was about to, the caller hung up..
Well, too bad then.
Ping!
ChangMin took the meal out of the microwave.
Hmm.. It smelled good.. for a microwave meal at least!
His umma should come and cook for him more often..
He missed her great cooking creations!
~
After he ate his meal someone was calling to DaMae's cell phone again.
This time ChangMin was on time with answering.
Because he had ran to the cell phone he was out of breath a bit.
'Hi, this is ChangMin..' He breathed into the phone..
A silence..
'Hi, NiMa here, I'll call back later..'
The other end went dead..
AISH! Girls!
Who would call to say she'll call back later?!
Well, one thing was certain, he was going to keep an eye on this girl!
Disliking DaMae's boyfriend without knowing him, calling her to say she'll call again..
All too suspicious!
This girl MUST have a crush on DaMae..
Telling DaMae she likes a guy could easily be a lie.
Whether that was true or not, ChangMin was going to watch this NiMa-girl very closely!
He was under no condition prepared to give up his girlfriend..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
NiMa's POV:
OH MY GOD!!
Never in my whole life did I expect this to happen!
DaMae is sooo not going to come to my birthday sleepover this weekend!
How can I ever forgive her for this?
She totally ignored my advice, leaving me alone..
To go to this kingka's place, she probably didn't bring him to her home, her parents would never approve of him..
And to do the thing we promised we should only do with the guy we both entirely approved of!
She didn't even ask for my opinion!
She didn't even wait, too..
I feel sooo bad!
How can she do this to me?
I thought she was my best friend and I thought she felt the same about me..
~ The next morning ~
ChangMin was awake very early in the morning, he wanted to make sure to be on time at DaMae's house..
So he woke up much too early and was ready to go, though he still had an hour before school would start..
Not knowing what to do in that time he decided he would just drive slowly towards DaMae's place.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DaMae's POV:
If I would only have ChangMin's phone number, I could have called him..
.. but his phone number is in my cell phone.
I hope he comes to pick me up!
If not, I'll just have to go to school without my cell phone, nothing else in that bag was important anyway.
Well, except for my keys, but I can leave my coat in the locker of NiMa, so it's no big deal..
About my purse?
Hm, I have another bus ticket in my room, no need to panic for money shortness..
Besides, I'll get my bag back today anyway..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When ChangMin arrived at DaMae's house he hesitated..
Should he just wait for her to come out or should he ring the bell?
If he waited, DaMae might have to carry around 2 bags at school, but if he rung the bell her parents might not let him in..
He wasn't crazy, he had seen how her mother had reacted on the sight of him..
She didn't say it, but he could see she disliked the fact he was driving a scooter, one that was black with neon blue flames on it..
He probably wore the wrong image to her..
~
Finally ChangMin decided he should ring anyway.
If he couldn't come in, he could still wait outside..
By the way, it wasn't certain her parents were even at home!
*Ringggggggg*
After a little while he could hear someone walking to the door.
The door was opened and a boy with a very similar face to DaMae's was looking ChangMin up and down.
'Ay, you're ChangMin, right?' the boy asked, curiosity making his eyes shine brightly.
ChangMin could hear the boy wasn't as old as he had first guessed him to be.
His voice was that of a scholar still, it was probably breaking for only 2 years or even less..
'Deh, is DaMae already up?' ChangMin said, subtly trying to look past the boy who, without doubt, was the little brother of DaMae..
Just then, her brother and ChangMin looked at the stairs from where a great noise came..
DaMae was running in her fastest pace from the steps.
On her face was a broad smile and in her hands she held only the poem she needed.
'ChangMin oppa*!' She yelled.
'You came to bring my bag and give me a ride to school?' She asked, completely ignoring the presence of her little brother, who soon got annoyed and walked away..
~
ChangMin was glad DaMae was already set to go..
She just needed to put on her shoes and coat and they could drive off to school.
~
On the scooter DaMae hugged him tightly..
She wasn't afraid, ChangMin knew that, but she just liked to hug him.
A smile formed on ChangMin's lips..
How hard he tried, he couldn't stop, so he kept smiling like a crazy person.
~
When they arrived at the school gates ChangMin saw NiMa walking, DaMae saw her too and started to nudge ChangMin to drive past her so she could say hello..
ChangMin didn't want to, but did it because DaMae wanted it..
When they drove next to NiMa DaMae started to wave and greet her friend.
At first NiMa ignored ChangMin, like she always did, but then she looked at DaMae very angrily and said: 'Slut! You can't come to my birthday sleepover anymore! By the way, DongJae can't come either, so I'm glad he wasn't going to!'
~
AISH! Don't be so harsh on my girlfriend! ChangMin thought..
That was so freaking rude! Not to mention painful..
- I don't know what she's done wrong, but this is childish! -
ChangMin was still shocked about NiMa's behavior towards DaMae, when NiMa had already turned and was entering the school building.
DaMae sat there, silently sobbing, hugging ChangMin's waist..
