San Cai met Lei on Ying De rooftop to have a talk.
San Cai: “Lei, I’m going to Canada tomorrow.”
Lei was sitting at the edge of the rooftop, he didn’t turn around: “Good luck.”
San Cai’s heart twisted in pain to hear his cold icy voice: “Lei, do you hate me?”
Lei didn’t say anything but he just stared into the bleak black sky.
“Don’t hate me, Lei. I…I don’t want you to hate me.” San Cai cried, as tears started to fall
Lei finally turned his body around to face her, he reached out and wiped her tears away with his thumb.
“How can I hate you when I love you so much?” Lei thought
“No, I don’t hate you.” Was all Lei said and San Cai didn’t know why but she felt disappointed with his answer.
“Lei, can you hold me? For one last time?” San Cai asked knowing that she was being selfish, she wanted him, but she also loved DMS. She knew if she told Lei to hug her, he’d fall for her again, and she might even also fall for him, but now she just wanted himto fulfill her last wish.
Lei slowly wrapped one arm around her shoulder and San Cai hugged his waist tight, Lei didn’t want to hug her too much or he wont be able to control his emotions again.
San Cai’s POV: Lei is so not into the hug. Somehow, my heart aches to feel him so cold to me. I tell my self that it is good for him to move on, but deep down, I don’t want him to stop loving me, I want him to be there for me forever. I don’t know what I’ve become, a monster. A greedy, selfish monster, who wants as much as I could get. I cant, I cant do that, I cant get everything. So I decided…to let go of everything.
San Cai: “Bye Lei, sorry for taking your time.”
San Cai ran out of the rooftop with her hand covered over her mouth to stop herself from crying out loud, tears fell freely down her face as she ran all the way into the streets.
“San Cai…” Lei whispered, he got off the edge and did a head stand.
Lei’s POV: San Cai, I’m sorry for being so cold towards you, I cant forget you, and if I really hugged you back, I don’t think I could let you go. I know we were not destined together…but I still find myself…in love with you.
~FEW MONTHS AFTER~
San Cai was in Canada continuing her modeling career, she tried to forget about Lei and DMS. She cried endlessly at night for either DMS’s forgetting her or Lei’s pain because she rejected him. Sometimes she hated herself for getting involved with F4’s lives. She hated herself for falling in love with Dao Ming Si, she hated her self for hurting Hua Ze Lei.
Lei was in Japan, still helping his dad's company. He tried his best to forget San Cai, but in his heart, she'd never leave.
DMS was recovering more and more memories of San Cai, his doctor said that soon he;d remember everything. Although DMS didnt tell Ye Sha nothing, she secretly knew.
Xiao You and Xi Men's relationship grew stronger and stronger. Xi Men didnt go out to pubs late at night and play with girls. MZ was the only one left.
