“Hi guys, remember me?” She asked
All of them looked confused until Lei said: “Xiao You?”
Xi Men who was drinking some wine choked and his eyes widened.
MZ: “Xiao You?!”
DMS was confused: “Who is Xiao You?”
Xiao You laughed: “Thank you Lei, for being the only one who remembers me.”
“Hey, I know someone who always remembered you” MZ joked
Xi Men glared at him: “H..hi” he stuttered
DMS: “Who are you?”
Xiao you looked at DMS, her perfect eyebrows knitted together: “So I’ve heard, you have got into an accident and forgotten everything. But how can you forget San Cai?!!”
DMS: “So I see you know her too.”
Xiao You: “Know her? She is my best friend!”
“Do you know where she is?” Lei asked hopefully
“No.” Xiao You lied
MZ noticed the guy standing next to Xiao You: “So who is this?”
“Oh, yea, he is my wonderful boyfriend, Nick.” Xiao You introduced
Nick: “Pleasure to meet F4.”
“You guys better be nice to him.” Xiao you warned
Xi Men’s eyes landed on their hands which were held together like glue. Jealousy flashed across his eyes but he quickly hid it.
Xi Men’s POV: “My wonderful boyfriend” so Xiao You has moved on. Isn’t that what I always wanted? She is happy now, that’s all that matters…right? Why does my heart ache to see her happy with another man. She is suppose to be my girl. Wait, what am I thinking? She was never mine, and I was the one who pushed her away.
Xiao You’s POV: Xi Men, aren’t you so glad that I moved on, so that I wont ever bug you anymore? I’m trying my best to forget you. Nick is wonderful, I think I am falling in love…or does my heart still belong where it has never left?
MZ: “Wow, Xiao You, you’ve definitely changed.”
“Yea, you look beautiful.” Xi Men said quietly
Xiao You: “Thanks.”
Lei: “So, tell us about your life in Canada.”
Xiao You: “There really is nothing to tell. I’m working as a model now, my parents retired and I’m trying my best to support them. Then I met Nick, he owns the model company in which I work in. He was so outgoing, and straight out asked me on a date the first time we met. And now, I’m his girlfriend.”
Lei and MZ looked at Xi Men who just kept a calm face, but his friends knew that he was heartbroken inside.
Just then, a girl came over and started flirting with Xi Men, she asked him for a dance and Xi Men being a gentleman accepted.
Xiao you looked at Xi Men’s retreating back: “He never changes does he?”
Lei: “So, where will you be staying?”
Nick: “We’ll be staying in Maple Hotel.”
DMS: “Hey, I own that hotel.”
Xiao You: “What, so we cant stay in it?”
DMS blushed: “Uh, no, that’s not what I mean.”
Xiao You: “DMS, I’m really disappointed in you, I thought you told San Cai you’d love her forever, learn to keep promises. Nick, let’s go.”
She stood up and Nick placed an arm around her waist and walked away.
DMS: “I don’t understand why you people all like that stupid woman so much.”
“That’s because she has a kind heart and is loyal to all her friends.” Lei said coldly and walked out of the pub too.
Xi Men came back to find only MZ and DMS: “Where’d everyone go?”
MZ: “Lei left and Xiao You left with Nick.”
“And she is staying with Nick at Maple Hotel.” MZ added
Xi Men: “Did I need to know that?”
MZ: “Man, stop hiding it, we can all tell that you are jealous.”
Xi Men: “I…I…”
Xi Men’s POV: Yes, I’m jealous. I’m as jealous as hell! Why doesn’t Xiao You love me anymore? I took her for granted, didn’t I? Now she’s gone, to her, I can only be a friend…nothing more.
