He lifted his face up and looked at her, his eyes filled with regret and pain: “San Cai.”
San Cai smiled at the silly man standing in the dark waiting for her all alone. Just like old times.
“How long have you been here?” she asked
Dao Ming Si: “A while, I’ve waited for you everyday since…”
San Cai: “Since what?”
Dao Ming Si: “Since I got my memory back.”
San Cai’s wounds freshly opened up again when it was nursed slowly and patiently by Hua Ze Lei with his love. But now…now he’s back.
Tears filled her eyes: “So? You want me back now? What, are you going to apologize next for the bad things you’ve said to me? I hate you, Dao Ming Si!
He ran over and gathered her into his arms: “But I love you.”
“I love you…I love you…I love you…” those words echoed in her head, this was the first time he said he loved her. He didn’t say he liked her, he said love.
“Dao Ming Si.” San Cai murmured as fresh tears started in her eyes again and rolled down to his broad shoulders.
~XI MEN’S POV~
I looked at her as she stared back at me, her eyes reflected the same reaction I had when I saw her with Nick. Somehow the pain in my heart increased as she continued staring at me. My heartbeat also increased seeing her here.
I don’t why I didn’t push Xiao Gen away, I guess it was because she already saw it. And I wanted at least a little bit of jealousy from her to show that she cared.
“I…I came to return these.” Xiao You stammered
What was this a game of lost and found?
She brought out my car keys.
Damn, no wonder why I couldn’t find them, I must have given her the wrong keys in my pocket. After all, who can think straight after seeing your girl making out with her boss. Wait. She is not my girl anymore.
“You gave me the wrong keys.” Xiao You squeaked
“Oh.” Was all I said.
Xiao You was irritated: “So arent you going to give me the right ones?”
“Maybe next time.” I said
Xiao You: “Why next time?”
Because I want to go over to your house every night and gather you in my arms while you sleep.
“Because cant you see I’m busy now?” I said and wrapped my arms around Xiao Gen
Xiao You blushed: “Ok.” She whispered as she flew out of the door. I could tell she was jealous. Dead jealous. But was I happy? Of course not, the look in her eyes, the hate and anger. It huants me everynight. And it hurts me to see her sad. Does she really mean that much to me?
Once Xiao You was out of sight, I pushed Xiao Gen away: “You can go now.”
Value the things you have. Treasure the things you lost. Remember the mistakes you’ve made. Love the one who loves you.
If only I listened. If only I listened to my heart.
I long for her touch, her voice, her warmth, her love. But my pride won.

San Cai regained herself afterwards: “Dao Ming Si, please let go of me.”
But he didn’t say anythign and held on to her, she didn’t resist knowing it was no use to fight with him, he was what, like, ten times stronger than her.
“Please let go, I have to get home to Lei.” San Cai argued
“I’m never letting you go again.” Dao Ming Si said softly
He did it again. San Cai’s heart weakened when she heard his words. She remembered Lei saying that to her too. She smiled, remembering his sweet but naughty smile, and she thought of how it felt to be wrapped in Hua Ze Lei’s strong warm arms.
“Ah Si, let go of her.” A voice said as it stepped out of the shadow.
DMS released San Cai and looked to see his best friend. Hua Ze Lei.
San Cai: “Lei!”
Lei: “I was just passing by because you werent home for a long time.”
Dao Ming Si stood by a side, not saying anything, his eyes burned with jealousy and anger.
Lei’s POV: Was it just me or was San Cai smiling when Ah Si held her? My heart is filled with anxiety and jealousy. Seeing my best friend hold my girl in his arms instead of having her in mines was a real jealousy affect.
“Let’s go home.” San Cai whispered as she passed by Lei.
Lei and DMS stared intensly, coldy at each other before Lei turned and followed San Cai.
DMS’s POV: Are you really Lei’s? Do you have any feelings for me anymore? I love you. You are the first girl I’ve said that to. San Cai, I know you hate me. But I’m going to win you back. At least I have to try, to fight for my love. Like you fought for me and tried really hard. No matter how much I get hurt, I have to have you in my arms again. I don’t know if I’m ready to wish you happiness wth Lei, but first…I have to learn to love again.
~IN HUA ZE MANSION~
During the whole car ride was silent. As they were getting out of the car, Lei spoke.
“San Cai!” He said
San Cai turned around, her heart pinched with pain as she saw the sadness and fright in Lei’s eyes. He looked like a lost child.
Why is Lei aways the one to apologize when I did something wrong? San Cai thought then feeling guilty about it.
“Yea?” she whispered softly
Lei took her hand in his: “About tonight…”
“Lei, I bumped into him, I swear. I didn’t even know he was there. Then he…he hugged me…” San Cai tried to explain
Lei was about to say something but then he let go of her hand and walked out of the car: “Nevermind.”
San Cai’s POV: How come I feel so hurt and sad when Lei let go of me? What does that mean?
