San Cai turned around: “You…”
Dao Ming Feng: “Where are your manner? What do you mean, “you”?”
San Cai: “You cannot tell me what I can or cannot do.”
DMF: “So I see, your personality is still as low as ever.”
“She is my girlfriend, please do not insult her.” Lei stepped in
San Cai was surprised how Lei was standing up to her.
DMF: “When was it your turn to talk here?”
DMS and Ye sha came over in time.
DMS: “Stop being so rude to my friends.”
DMF: “Ah Si, are you engaged with Ye Sha yet?”
As DMF said that, Ye Sha, DMS, DMF, and Lei all turned to look at San Cai.
San Cai did feel a little bit uncomfortable but she tried not to show it: “What?” she asked
DMF: “Ah Si, you have not answere dmy question yet.”
DMS: “You are not deciding my future or my life!”
DMF: “How dare you…”
“Come with me.” DMS said as he grabbed San Cai by the wrist and pulled her away.
~DMS’S TERRACE (WHERE HE GAVE SAN CAI THE NECKLACE)~
“Do you remember this place?” DMS asked softly
“Yea, how can I not?” she whispered
They were in silence for a moment remembering all their times together.
“So why did you bring me here for?” San Cai asked
DMS placed his hands on her shoulders and turned her around to face him: “San Cai, there is something I want to tell you.”
San Cai: “Say it, I’m listening.”
“The day before I got into a car accident, I told you to meet me at the church right?” he asked
San Cai: “Yea, and you never showed up.”
DMS: “Well I was getting the meteor ring you liked when we were touring Barcelona…I was going to ask you to marry me that day.”
“Dao Ming Si…” San Cai gasped as she covered her mouth and tears blurred her eyes.
“I had received a letter from Lei telling me to ask for your hand in marriage before anything happens like him and Jing. Well there happens to be a curse that if a person brought the rings without the other person, his lover, then somehing bad will happen…and I…I was too stuborn so I brought it.” DMS said softly, his eyes filled with regret and desire for San Cai.
“Lei?” San Cai asked
DMS nodded.
San cai’s POV: It’s all my fault, if only I hadnt liked the rings. Then he wouldn’t have bought it and lose his memory…and I’d never fall in love with Hua Ze Lei. Now I’m really confised. God is playing with my feelings. DMS looks so lost, I cant leave him…but Lei loves me…but so does DMS.
San Cai walked up to DMS, slid her hands around his waist and hugged him: “I’m sorry.” she murmured
DMS hugged her back, closing his eyes and tears fell: “Don’t be, I should say sorry for hurting you, pushing you away and for betraying you.”
San Cai shook her head which was buried in his warm chest: “It’s not your fault, if only I didn’t like the rings, you wouldn’t have went to buy it.”
DMS hugged San Cai tightly for the first time since his memories were back, he felt content and happy. It’s like whoever hold San Cai in their arms feels that way.
“San Cai…” he murmured, his hands stroked her bare back softly and caressed it gently.
“I missed you.” San Cai cried as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
DMS had the urge to cup her face in his hand and kiss her, exploring, tasting every corner of her mouth. And he did. San Cai didn’t know weather to respond or not, these lips…it’s a long time since she touched them. They were fierce but gentle at the same time. Finally, she did give in, she kissed him back with all the strength she had left.
Forgetting about DMF.
Forgetting about Ye Sha.
Forgetting about Lei…Lei.
A man stood there watching their every move, every word they said as he own sorrow tears fell seeing them kiss and make up. She broke his heart again. Lei’s heart was shattered into pieces when he saw them kiss and heard her say: “I missed you”. Was that the beginning of them(DMS+her)…the end of them(Lei+her)?
“San Cai, you betrayed me.” Lei mumbled as he tore his eyes away and ran, ran to wherever the nearest place he could stay in…alone.

San Cai and DMS pulled away as they looked into each other’s eyes.
“San Cai, could we start over again?” DMS asked softly
“We…we cant.” San Cai trembled
DMS: “Why not?”
San Cai: “Lei.”
“Lei is going to get hurt again.” San Cai whispered, she already felt guilty and bad for kissing DMS. But his lips were so comforting and warm…but so were Lei’s, teasing and gentle…
DMS looked down: “Do you love him?”
San Cai: “Yes, yes I do…but I don’t know who I love more…”
DMS looked at her: “I understand…I’ll wait.”
“I’ll wait…” Lei had said the exact same words to her, thinking of him made her feel all guilty and low again, she had betrayed Lei.
San Cai nodded: “Let’s go downstairs.”
DMS: “You go ahead first.”
San Cai: “Ok.”
She touched his arm once more and then walked away.

“Have you guys seen Lei?” San Cai asked Xiao You and XQ
Xiao You: “Nope, I havent seen him for a long time.”
XQ: “I just saw him recently, he was going upstairs to get you because Xiao You wants to show you someone.”
San Cai froze as her face paled: “He went upstairs?!”
XQ nodded as a little kid appeared from behind Xiao You.
Xiao You: “San Cai, meet Nick.”
“Oh hi Nick!” she said, seeing a adorable three year old staring at her with the darkest eyes a bobbed haircut.
“Hi, San Cai auntie.” Nick said
San Cai’s POV: Oh no, I am so not in the mood for this. Lei couldn’t have saw has he? Why isint he here? Could he have seen me and DMS kissing?
XQ: “How are we going to tell Nick aprat from Nick?”
Xiao You laughed: “We’ll manage.”
Just then Nick came over(big one): “Nick, Xiao You has told me a lot about you.”
Little Nick grinned: “Really? Is your name Nick too?”
Nick grinned back: “Yea little fellow, so you are as handsome as Xiao you described you.”
Little Nick was so pleased of what Nick said: “I am three years old, how old are you?”
Nick: “Uh, see, we adults don’t like telling people our age.”
Xiao You laughed: “Come on Nick, you’re not even that old.”
Little Nick: “Please! I’ll promise to keep it a secret.” He held out his little pinky
Nick chuckled and hooked it, he bent down to whisper to Little Nick’s ear.
Nick: “Secret ok?”
Little Nick grinned so proud to carry a secret: “Ok.”
Little Nick was a bit hit, everyone thought he was so cute and adorable.
“Guys, I have to leave first.” San Cai said worriedly
XQ: “Already?”
Xiao You: “What about Lei?”
San Cai: “I have to go, bye Nick!”
Little Nick waved at San Cai.
“Hi Nick.” Another voice said
Little Nick turned around and looked up: “Who are you?”
Xiao You: “Ei, that is rude.”
Xi Men laughed: “It’s ok.”
He bent down to Little Nick: “Hi, I’m uncle Xi Men.”
