San Cai took it and he led her to the dance floor with Lei’s angry eyes watching.
MZ: “Is it just me or did Ah Si just steal your girl?”
Lei looked at MZ then at them again and he didn’t say anything.
XQ glared at MZ: “Lei, MZ didn’t mean that, you know he likes to joke around.”
Xiao You: “Yea, it’s just a dance.”
Lei: “I know.”
Just then a guy came up and asked XQ for a dance.
XQ: “Jimmy?!”
The guys smiled: “Long time no see, XQ.”
MZ glared angrily at the guy who just led his fiancee to the dance floor.
“The nerve of him.” MZ growled
Lei laughed: “MZ, it’s just a dance.”
MZ looked at Lei and was about to say something but couldn’t, so then he let his eyes guard his fiancée.
Xi Men smiled: “Xiao You…”
Xiao You back away: “No way…”
She bumped right into a cute guy with long hair.
Guy: “Sorry.”
Xiao You blushed: “No, I’m sorry.”
Xi Men was about to ask Xiao You for a dance again but Xiao You reacted fast.
“Dance with me.” Xiao You whispered as she pulled the guy she just met onto the dance floor.
Xi Men felt himself being slapped personally on the face by her. “Does being with a stranger is really happier than being with me?” Xi Men wondered angrily
~XIAO YOU+STRANGER~
Xiao You: “Um thanks.”
Guy: “For what?”
Xiao You: “For saving me back there.”
Guy: “And get to dance with a gorgeous creature?”
Xiao You blushed furiously: “Um, thanks. My name is Xiao You.”
Guy: “I’m Joey.”
Xi Men saw Xiao You blushing and his anger flared up again, was that guy flirting with her? How dare he…she is his, Xi Men’s girl.
~DMS+SAN CAI~
DMS: “Did something happen between you and Lei?”
San Cai rolled her eyes: “He saw us kissing the other night…”
DMS’s eyes widened: “Stupid woman, it was suppose to be private!”
San Cai: “You idiot, we weren’t even suppose to do that the other night…I already have a boyfriend, he is Lei.”
DMS’s eyes lowered with pain: “Is there really no chance for us…”
San Cai: “I feel really bad and guilty for betraying Lei…I have to be a better girlfriend, he doesn’t deserve this kind of treatment…and he is your bestfriend. Let’s just…be friends.”
DMS felt his heart break each word San Cai spoke: “Why?”
“We, we…were just not meant to be.” San Cai whispered
Lei was standing by the drinks table watching San Cai and Ah Si when he felt a tug on his sleeve.
Lei: “Hi Chloe.”
Chloe pointed at San Cai: “That guy…uncle DMS stole San Cai jie jie.”
Lei didn’t say anything.
Chloe: “Arent you going to do something about it?!”
Lei: “No.”
Chloe: “Why not?”
Lei: “They are just dancing.”
Chloe: “Just dancing?! Wow, your calm personality amazes me sometimes.” Shaking her head in diasppoint and tsking loudly, she walked away.
Lei’s POV: Calm?! I feel like pulling my hair out already from impatient. I have never felt this way, I was always calm and careless whatever goes on…but now…
Finally the song ended and everyone went to switch partners.
San Cai went over to Lei hoping he’d ask for a dance but to her surprise, he walked off when he saw her coming and grabbed a pretty girl near him to the dance floor. XQ too, when she went over to MZ, MZ ignored her and pulled a model to the dance floor.
San Cai laughed: “Jealous boyfriends?”
XQ giggled and nodded in return: “It’s amazing how we find it funny instead of being mad at them.”
Xiao You came over: “Is it just me or are your boyfriends dancing with other girls?”
XQ shrugged: “It’s no big deal.”
San Cai: “Yea, we cant just hog them. They have their rights to dance with anyone just like us.”
Xiao You grinned: “I love it when you guys are so independent.”
San Cai: “So are you going to introduce us to your new boyfriend or not?”
XQ: “Yea, don’t be so selfish, introduce us.”
Xiao You scowled: “You two stop talking nonsense, we just met how can you call him my boyfriend?”
San Cai laughed: “Just kidding.”
XQ: “Looks like somone over there is dead jealous.”
The three girls turned their heads to Xi Men who blushed when he saw them staring, he was surrounded by pretty girls flirting with him but he didn’t pay attention to none of them.
Xiao You: “Shut up, lets go dance.”
Not before long, a few guys came over and saw the single girls and immedietly fought to ask them to dance.
San Cai: “XQ, let’s prmise not to let the boys get us jealous.”
XQ: “Of course not.”
Xiao You: “Hey, what about me?”
Both of them laughed: “You already got Xi Men jealous.”
Xiao You: “What? But, but…he is not even my boyfriend.”
The three girls were guided to the dance floor by three cute guys as four others gorgeous guys glared angrily.
Lei was so bored with the girl he was dancing, he didn’t even know her name, she was just rambling on and on about other stuff. He once again watched with jealousy as other guys danced with his girl.
Lei’s POV: I was so stupid! I should have asked San Cai for a dance, instead of trying to get her jealous. She is my girlfriend, so why is it so hard for me to open my mouth and ask her? Why does everyday I spend with her, I feel like she is drifting futher and futher from my reach…my heart?
MZ rolled his eyes as the girl he was dancing with once again purposely stepped on him and pretended to fall in his arms. Why the hell was XQ not jealous?! Instead, she walks off to dance with another guy.
This dance ended, thank god for the guys.
MZ walked over to XQ who smiled slyly at him.
XQ: “Want a dance now?”
MZ practically begged: “Yes please!”
Once again reunited, the two engaged couples began to dance as the next song came on…the last song.
San Cai looked all over for Lei as she saw him staring at her and saw the desire in his eyes, he looked so sexy.
San Cai’s POV: Is he really not going to ask me? For god sake, this is the last dance. Well if he is not going to make his move, I will.
San Cai walked over to Lei: “Wanna dance?”
Lei wrapped his arm protectively around her waist and led her to the dance floor.
San Cai felt so warm and giddy when Lei put his arm around her, it showed that she was taken, unavailable, his only. And she loved the feeling, she never felt this way when they danced before.
San Cai had her arms around Lei’s neck as his hands rested on her waist: “So I was wondering when you’d ask me to dance.” She said softly
Lei looked at her gently in the eye: “This night was so boring for me until this dance.”
San Cai grinned: “Really?”
Lei laughed: “Why do you have such a silly expression on?”
“Do you want to spice up your night?” She teased
Lei smiled back: “Like how?” he asked already knowing the answer and they leaned closer to each other and finally tasting each other’s lips. Even though everyone was there and watching, the both of them didn’t even care. A lot of the other couples were also kissing each other as the music got softer and more romantic.
“Is it interesting enough?” San Cai teased breathing hard for air
“No.” Lei replied and kissed her again. Their tounges wrestled playfully with each other’s and then they continued kissing passsionately.
Chloe and Nick were grinning at Lei and San Cai.
Chloe: “Yay, uncle Lei won San Cai jie jie back!”
Nick: “Yea, there is a happy ending.”
Chloe: “Nick, can you kiss me too?”
Nick looked at her and remembered what Xi Men taught him, he leaned over and gave Chloe a peck on the cheek.
Chloe blushed: “Thanks.”
Nick: “No problem.”
Xi Men came over to the two kids: “Nick, what did I just see you do to Chloe?”
Nick pouted: “You taught me that.”
Xi Men smiled sadly.
Chole: “Uncle Xi Men, why are you so sad?”
Nick: “Because he likes auntie Xiao You.”
Xi Men: “Nick!” he warned Nick giggled and covered his mouth
Chloe: “Why don’t you just ask her for a dance?”
“Yea why don’t you?” Xiao You asked, suddenly appearing besides him
Xi Men blushed furiously as he stuttered: “Um, uh…”
Xiao You laughed and pulled him onto the dance floor: “Come on.”
~ON THE DANCE FLOOR~
Xi Men: “I thought you didn’t want to dance with me.”
Xiao You smiled: “Let’s just say I was saving the last dance for you.”
Xi Men: “Really? So does it mean I’m special to you?”
Xiao You laughed: “Whatever.”
Xi Men took advantage: “So does it mean you’re a step closer to forgiving me?”
Xiao You stared at Xi Men: “Xi Men…”
Xi Men: “Ok, ok, I wont rush you…can I kiss you?”
Xiao You opened her mouth to say no but Xi Men quickly made his move and pressed his lips on hers kissing her hard but then gently later on. Xiao You found his lips irresistable and didn’t have the heart to push him away knowing she loved his kisses.
Nick: “So now it’s an happy ending.”
Chloe giggled: “Yea, are even suppose to be watching?”
“Oops.” Nick said and the both of them covered their eyes and faced their backs to the dance floor full of couples kissing.
