The party was over in about half an hour and everyone was leaving early. After Xi Men kissed Xiao You, she left and avoided him the whole party, he has done it again…took advantage of her…like he would to any other girl.
Xiao You was about to leave when Xi Men grabbed her.
Xi Men: “Xiao You, need a lift?”
Xiao You: “Uh, Joey offered to take me home.”
Xi Men frowned: “Who is Joey?”
“A guy…” Xiao You began but Xi Men cut her
Xi Men: “I know, he is a guy you fooled around with tonight.”
Xiao You glared at him: “We just danced. And don’t make it sound so bad, fool around? Get a life, Xi Men”
Xi Men: “Really? And what about after he takes you home, what are you two going to do? Are you going fool around some more? Go go to bed…”
Xiao You slapped Xi Men on the face: “You have no right to say that to me, who do you think you are?”
Xi Men just looked angrily and painfully at her and didn’t say anything like the first time he got slapped by her.
Xiao You grabbed her purse and walked out of the house with Joey following behind.
F3 came over to Xi Men.
“Does everyone need to know what happened?” Xi Men asked rolling his eyes
San Cai laughed: “That wasn’t a first.”
Xi Men glared at her and Lei nudged her to be quiet.
MZ: “Wow man, you always make things so complicated.”
Xi Men: “What’d I do?!”
XQ: “Well you must have done something to her, she looked so pissed off.”
DMS: “Man, and you two were just kissing before.”
Xi Men waved his hand unbelievably: “Did you see her leave with that guy?!”
“Why cant she? She is single.” XQ said
“Yea, you don’t control her anymore. She never controlled you or what you do with “other” girls when you two were going out.” San Cai stated
“She is right.” Lei said softly
Xi Men ran a reckless hand through his long hair: “I’m leaving first.”
With that, Xi Men went away followed by DMS and then MZ and XQ.
Lei called his servants to start cleaning up the garbage.
Nick: “Why did auntie Xiao You leave without me?”
San Cai gasped when she heard Nick: “Oh my god! Nick you are still here.”
Chloe: “Yea, auntie Xiao You just walked out of the party.”
Lei: “Let’s take you home.”
Chloe: “Does he have to go?”
San Cai rolled her eyes: “Of course he does.”
“But you stay with uncle Lei, why cant Nick stay with me?” Chloe asked innocently
San Cai blushed: “That’s different.”
Chloe pouted: “Fine. Bye Nick.”
San Cai: “Tell you what, do you want to come with me to take Nick home?”
Chloe brightened up: “Oh can I?”
Lei nodded: “Hurry back.”
San Cai took the two kids by the hand and went out.
Lei to his servants: “After you clean the mess, don’t disturb me in my room.”
~HOUR LATER~
San Cai and Chloe stayed at Xiao You’s house for a while because Nick wanted to show Chloe his room and San Cai wanted to comfort her friend.
~LEI’S MANSION~
Chloe’s eyelids drooped and she rubbed her eyes sleepily.
San Cai: “Sleepy? Go to bed now.”
Chloe didn’t bother to argue and she nodded.
San Cai walked up the stairs after her.
San Cai’s POV: I wonder if Lei is still mad at me. Well he did kiss me tonight…is that a sign? I promised to myself I wont have any other feelings other than friends towards DMS. Because I love Lei too much.
San Cai knocked on Lei’s door and he let her come in.
San Cai change from her gown to a pair of shorts and a tank top(see-through). Lei changed from his tux to a gray sleeveless shirt. Lei tried hard not looking at San Cai afraid to get turned on and out of control, no matter how simple her clothes are, it looks so hot on her.
Lei: “So is uh, Chloe asleep yet?”
San Cai: “Probably.”
San Cai: “Lei, we have to talk.”
Lei’s heart thumped wildly, was she breaking up with him for Ah Si?
Lei: “What do you want to say?”
San Cai: “About me and DMS.”
Lei: “I did see you two kiss the other night.”
San Cai: “Lei, he…we didn’t…I’m sorry.”
Lei looked at her feeling himself soften at her big beautiful eyes: “Do you want to start over with him?”
Lei’s POV: Why in the world did I say that?! I’m like pushing her to him again. But what’s best for her…even if it leaves me in pain.
San Cai’s eyes filled with tears: “No!”
San Cai hugged Lei from behind and buried her head in his back: “Don’t break up with me.”
Lei: “I’m not breaking up with you, I just thought…”
San Cai: “I want to be with you, only you.”
Lei’s POV: Then why did you kiss Ah Si?
San Cai felt the warmth of Lei’s body and his muscular back and heard his steady breathing, she was getting turned on just hugging him.
“Let’s not talk about that tonight.” She purred against his ear as she kissed his neck and slipped her hands into the sleeves of his sleeveless shirt. She began to caress Lei’s hard chest from the back and continued kissing him and nibbling on his ear playfully.
Lei’s POV: What is wrong with me? Any guy in their right mind would be horny and turned on by her actions. But I’m bothered that she just waved the whole situation away like it didn’t even matter. It mattered to me. She kissed Ah Si, when I’m her boyfriend. I act like I don’t care but of course I do, my heart is already wounded. How can one beautiful angel hurt me so much? Even my first love Jing’s leaving didn’t hurt me that much…wait why am I thinking of her?
“San Cai, stop it.” Lei demanded his voice a little cold and angry, he pulled her hands away and pushed her and she fell back onto the bed.
Tears blurred San Cai’s eye once again:” Sorry.” She whispered and ran out of his room like a hurt puppy.
San Cai’s POV: I feel so embarrassed. I acted like such a slut! No wonder Lei got turned off. Why am I becoming like this?! It was so embarrassing. I made a fool out of myself. But why did Lei not respond? He always does, is he still hurt about the whole situation?
Lei closed his eyes and fell back onto the bed: “Shit, why did I push her away?”
Lei’s POV: I am just making things even worse than it already is. Why did I push her away?! We could have already been in bed already making love, what is wrong with me?! Ughh! Is the kiss between Ah Si and her still bothering me? Yes.
~MORNING~
San Cai woke up with her eyes all red but she did a good makeup job and covered it up real good. She put on a pair of capris and a white tube top, her waist being exposed, toned and tan.
San Cai used the bathroom quickly to avoid seeing Lei, she couldn’t even face him anymore. But as she gussed it, Lei was right there, wrapped in only a towel with his hair wet and his upper body glistening with droplets of water. He looked like he walked out of a cover magazine.
“Sorry, I’ll use the other bathroom.” She muttered not looking at him
Lei: “Wait.”
San Cai stopped hearing his voice, her back facing him leaning against the doorway: “Yea?”
Lei walked over to her and pulled her into his arms but she still couldn’t look at him in the eye.
“Lei, I’m going to be late for work.” San Cai mumbled blushing remembering what happened last night.
“No, you forgot something.” Lei whispered like nothing happened last night
“I did?” San Cai lied very well knowing what he wanted.
“Yea, my morning kiss.” Lei murmured leaning down to kiss her.
Once his lips touched hers, she pushed him away: “I’m really going to be late.”
Lei felt rejected and her cold attitude towards him. Was it because of last night? Of course, how can he embarrass her so much?
~SAN CAI’S WORK PLACE~
San Cai was in her private room taking a break when her phone rang: “Hello?”
“Hi, care to join me for lunch?” a warm voice asked
“Lei? Arent you suppose to be working?” she asked
Lei: “I’m taking a break, join me.”
“Um I cant.” She lied
Lei sound disappointed: “Why?”
“Steven asked me out for lunch already.” She lied
Lei: “Oh really? You usually reject his offers.”
San Cai: “Well I feel bad for rejecting him so many times, and he is nice to me.”
Lei: “So I’m not nice?”
San Cai laughed: “It’s not that.”
Lei felt his heart lighten up hearing her laughter, she doesn’t sound mad: “Ok, enjoy your lunch.”
San Cai: “Bye.”
~STEVEN’S OFFICE~
“How about lunch?” San Cai asked Steven
Steven grinned: “Finally.”
