Someone sent Xi Men to the hospital. They contacted F3, knowing Xi Men was part of their group. The girls also came rushing in…along with Xiao You.
Everyone sat impatiently and some paced on the floor waiting for the doctor to come out.
And finally, he did.
DMS grabbed the doctor: “How is Xi Men?!!”
MZ and Lei held DMS back: “Calm down, Ah Si.”
The doctor shook his head sadly.
San Cai screamed: “What is that suppose to mean?!”
XQ: “Please tell us his conditions.”
Doctor: “We managed to pump all the alcohol out of his body but…there is a very slim chance for him to survive.”
“What?! What kind of doctor are you?!!” DMS shouted
Doctor: “I’m sorry, we did our best.”
MZ: “Please, save him, save my friend.”
Doctor: “Of course, we are doing all we can to save Xi Men shao ye.”
Lei: “Is he awake?”
Doctor: “No. He may never wake up, he may wake up soon, but even if he woke up, it that doesn’t show that he is going to live. It’s all up to him, there is nothing we can do. If he wants to continue his life, he will, if he doesn’t…he’ll let go.”
Xiao You was sitting on the bench quietly this whole time, she was shocked and numb with fear. Hearing the doctor’s bad news, she felt her whole heart ache.
“Xiao You, are you ok?” San Cai asked worriedly
XQ shook her: “Say something please, we are worried about you.”
“He might not survive…he’ll let go of his life…there is a very slim chance of survival…” Xiao You heard those harsh painful words and felt her whole body weaken with fear.
Xiao You’s POV: Xi Men, wake up. Wake up, please. I cant imagine life without you, I cant. I cant lose you. Don’t leave me. It’s all my fault, if only I’ve forgiven you. When you told me to listen to my heart, I…I felt like throwing myself into your arms and telling you that I love you. I love you, Xi Men.
Lei: “Can we go see him?”
Doctor: “Yes, and try talking to him.”
Everyone was about to go in when the doctor stopped them: “One at a time, please.”
So they all took turns…Xiao You was the last.
~XIAO YOU~
Xiao You walked slowly to Xi Men’s bedside. He was all pale and covered with bandages in different places, but he still looked handsome. How can anyone pull that off?
Xiao You touched Xi Men’s face gently and held his hand to her cheek: “Xi Men? I know you are asleep, I’ll wait for you to wake up. I have so many things to tell you…I’ll stay by your side until you wake up, don’t give up, stay strong, Xi Men.
Xiao You said no more and laid her head down by his side sitting on a chair, holding his hand.
~OUTSIDE~
MZ: “Don’t you think we should tell Xiao you to go home now?”
San Cai: “No, let her stay. She’ll refuse to leave anyways.”
XQ: “Yea, let’s not bother her.”
DMS: “So are we leaving first?”
MZ: “XQ, you need some rest, let’s go home.”
XQ: “Fine.”
Lei: “San Cai, do you want to go home?”
San Cai shook her head: “Let me stay for another while.”
DMS: “You are so stubborn. I’m leaving first, call me if there is any news on Xi Men.”
Lei nodded.
~HOURS LATER~
San Cai’s POV: Xi Men, wake up! I know I have always been against you on everything, but you are a good friend. F3 and we all cant lose you. Wake up, do it for us…for Xiao You.
San Cai felt her eyelids drop and her head nodding off to sleep but then she tried to stay awake.
“Now do you want to leave?” Lei asked
San Cai shook her head.
“Here.” Lei said and handed her a cup of coffee.
San Cai smiled gratefully and took it: “Thanks.”
But she didn’t drink it, instead, she laid her head on Lei’s shoulder and fell asleep. Lei smiled and carried her in his arms and drove back home.
~MORNING AT HUA ZE MANSION~
San Cai awoke with a jolt in the morning, finding herself on a warm bed with a guy next to her. Yesterday was a nightmare, she prayed that it wasn’t true.
“Awake already?” Lei asked
San Cai nodded: “Why are you sleeping next to me? Don’t you have your own bed?”
Lei: “What’s wrong? We always sleep together.”
“Hey, don’t say that! You make me sound like a prostitute.” San Cai pouted
Lei grinned: “You look so cute like that.”
San Cai rolled her eyes: “Don’t even start, it wont work.”
“Will this?” Lei asked as he pinned her beneath him and crawled over her on his hands and knees, he dropped a kiss on her lips and kissed her gently and teasingly. His kisses trailed to her neck and to her ears.
“Mmm…” San Cai murmured contently
Lei smiled happily seeing that she was enjoying it, he let his hand creep under her shirt and tried to unhook her bra. That made San Cai sit up and push him away.
“Let’s go visit Xi Men now.” San Cai said hurriedly
Lei pulled her back onto his lap: “What’s wrong?”
San Cai blushed: “Nothing is wrong.”
“Oh really. Then why did you push me away?” he asked
“We have to go see Xi Men…now!” She lied and quickly went away to get dressed
Lei’s POV: It has been so long since I haven’t had you. I want you, why do you keep pushing me away? If I had known I wouldn’t given up the chance you offered it that night.
~HOSPITAL~
Xi Men woke up finding himself weak and numb. He felt a warm hand in his and saw that it was Xiao You.
“Where am I? In heaven? Because having Xiao You here is like…is like so heavenly.” Xi Men thought
Xiao You suddenly stirred and rubbed her eyes: “Xi Men!”
Xi Men looked at her: “I…I cant move.”
Xiao You: “You idiot, do you know you’ve gotten into a car accident?!”
“Oh.” Xi Men replied simply
Xiao You stood up to get the doctor but Xi Men used all his strength to pull her hands back: “Where are you going?” he asked weakly
Xiao You: To get a doctor.”
The door opened and F3, San Cai and XQ plus the doctor came in.
San Cai: “Xi Men! You’re awake!!”
Everyone covered their ears.
Xi Men: “Ei, don’t be so loud, I cant cover my ears, which are probably deaf now, hard working virgin!”
MZ: “Yo man, you scared us back there.”
DMS: “Yea, how do you always get into these messes?”
XQ: “I’m glad you are awake, Xi Men.”
The doctor gave Xi Men a check up and spoke to everyone privately outside.
Doctor: “Awaking is a good sign but…”
Lei: “But what?”
Doctor: “Make sure he is not ever sad or depressed, that increases his chance of danger. A person’s mood can be the best medicine. Does he have a loved one?”
Everyone looked at Xiao You.
MZ: “Uh, now he doesn’t have one recently.”
Doctor: “Well it’s all up to you guys to help him through this.”
Everyone: “Of course.”
~INSIDE~
Xi Men: “What did the doctor say that is so private that you all have to go outside?” he demanded to know
MZ chuckled: “You just missed Xiao You, didn’t you? It has only been two minutes man, you are pathetic.”
Xi Men: “Ei! It was not because of that, and you shut your mouth!”
XQ whispered harshly to MZ: “You aren’t suppose to make him angry!”
MZ slapped his forehead: “Oh yea.”
Xi Men: “What are you two whispering about?”
DMS laughed: “Too bad you don’t have the strength to get up and hit him now.”
San Cai smacked DMS on the head: “You pighead, don’t make him mad.”
DMS quickly got quiet.
Xi Men: “Can someone please tell me what is going on?”
Lei: “Just get a good rest, and you’ll be better in no time.”
Xi Men nodded.
MZ: “Yea, we’ll visit you everyday.”
Xi Men looked hopefully at Xiao You and everyone saw.
San Cai: “Don’t worry, if she is what it takes for you to get better, I’ll do anything to drag her here.”
Xi Men laughed: “Ok.”
And everyone then knew that he was still in love with Xiao You.
