Xi Men: “You bet I wont.”
Xiao You: “Yea, well you better get better soon, then you can do anything you want.”
San Cai: “And we are still waiting for your party, mister.”
Xi Men smiled: “I promise there’ll be one.”
Lei: “Let’s just hope you’ll be recovered by Christmas.”
XQ: “Oh gosh, it’s only two more weeks until Christmas!”
DMS: “Xi Men, I have to go now, my mom wants me to go back to work.”
Xi Men: “Ok.”
MZ: “Take care, man.”
XQ: “Bye Xi Men, get well soon.”
San Cai: “I’ll leave you two alone.”
Lei followed and Xiao You was about to leave too but San Cai and Lei held her back.
“Oh no you don’t, lover girl, you stay here and make our Xi Men all healthy again.” San Cai teased
Lei grinned: “Take care of him.”
The two shut before Xiao You could leave.
Xiao You rolled her eyes: “Those two…”
Xi Men: “You don’t have to stay if you don’t want to.”
Xiao You shrugged: “I have nothing to do anyways, Nick gave me a few days off knowing that you were in a accident.”
Xi Men and Xiao You was silent for a few minutes, just peaceful silence.
Xiao You suddenly started laughing hard.
Xi Men raised an eyebrow: “Ei, am I missing something here?”
Xiao You covered her mouth and giggled: “Nothing.”
“Ei, come on, what’s so funny?” Xi Men asked
Xiao You giggled: “You’re Xi Men and you’re lying here all pale and weak and unable to move.”
Xi Men: “Ei, that’s funny?”
Xiao You smiled: “To me it is.”
“Oh yea? I think it’s funny that you aren’t wearing a bra inside.” Xi Men shot back, grasping for an excuse, any excuse
Xiao You blushed: “Pervert, who told you to look there? Besides, it’s a strapless bra.”
“Can I see it?” Xi Men teased
Xiao You blushed: “Idiot.”
Xiao You laughed: “Wont you get bored lying there on the bed all day?”
Xi Men: “Well that’s why you’re here.”
Xiao You: “Ok, so what do you want to talk about?”
“Us.” Xi Men answered seriously
“Us? What is there to say about us?” Xiao You asked
Xi Men took a deep breath: “Do you really not love me anymore?”
“Can we not talk about this?” Xiao You asked knowing it was bad for Xi Men’s condition
Xi Men: “No. Tell me.”
Xiao You: “What do you want me to say?”
Xi Men: “Let’s clear up something first. The diary…I didn’t write the last page about you.”
Xiao You seemed uninterested and unconvinced: “Oh really.”
“Listen, I’m telling you the truth. I would never write that stuff about you, about just using you as a sub for Xiao Gen and stuff, that isn’t true!” Xi Men explained, his voice rising
“And I don’t only like you for your body…I never loved Xiao Gen.” Xi Men replied angrily
“So? What do you want?” She asked
Xiao You’s POV: I…I don’t think I can believe that he didn’t write that last page? Who else could have written it? I want to believe him, but I cant bring myself to believe him…what should I do?!
“Remember the three strikes? I only have two, the diary thing doesn’t count.” He insisted
Xiao You was stunned by his answer knowing that he was right “H…how did you remember that?”
Xi Men: “I’m taking all the chances I could to win you back.”
Xiao You felt her heart soften and ache with pain hearing him say that and his eyes were so soft and sad, she was going to give in.
“Xi Men…I…I cant. I cant bring myself to forgive you.” She trembled with tears in her eyes
“Why?! It has been so long!! I miss you, I just need a second chance.” He yelled with all the voice he had left
Xiao You was worried about his health condition from all the fighting and yelling: “Don’t do that, it’s bad for you.”
Xi Men: “Do I care? I don’t care about my life anymore!”
“Xi Men, don’t be like this…” Xiao You quivered
“Remember you said you needed the kind of love that you cant eat, sleep or live without? Xiao You, I want you to know, without you I cant sleep well or eat well…without you, I cant live. I cant go on…I love you.” He cried as tears rolled down his face
Xiao You bit her lip to keep her tears from falling but they fell, hot tears trickled down her face and she covered her mouth to keep from crying out loud.
Xi Men’s words touched her, and made her give in. Those words came truly from his heart and she knew it.
Xi Men’s heart monitor failed beeping faintly and his breathing increased, screaming, Xiao You called for a doctor.
Xiao You’s POV: The doctor told us not to get him mad or give him pain, but I just did, oh my god, Xi Men’s condition is getting worse, it’s all my fault. Everything has been my fault. They said if he doesn’t want to live, he may pass on any time he wants. And before…his words…he meant it, I could tell by his eyes and voice. Am I ready to forgive?
The doctors rushed in and started to make his breathing steady again, trying to save his life. Xiao You rushed to Xi Men’s side and held his hand.
“Don’t give up your life, Xi Men, don’t!” she cried
Xi Men looked faintly at her unable to speak.
Finally the doctor were finished and talked to Xiao You outside.
Doctor: “Do not upset him again…we…we almost lost him.”
Tears rolled down Xiao You’s eyes: “I’m so sorry!”
Doctor: “I don’t know what’ll happen, just…make him happy.”
Xiao You nodded and went inside.
Xi Men’s eyes were closed but he wasn’t asleep, when Xiao You came in, he lifted his hand up to her and Xiao You rushed over to take it.
“Xi Men.” She whispered
Xi Men weakly wiped the tears away from her eyes: “Don’t cry silly, you look ugly like that.”
Xiao You cried even more: “I’m so sorry.”
Xi Men: “No, I’m sorry…for being an idiot, a jerk, an asshole…”
Xiao You: “Shhh…” she placed her fingers on his lips and leaned over to kiss him. The first kiss she initiated since they broke up. Xiao You stroked his chest making sure he can take this. She let her self do all the kissing since he cant do anything but respond. Xiao You was kissing him passionately and Xi Men responded with all the strength he had left, feeling so happy…
“Are you sure you can handle this?” Xiao You asked as she stroked his chest after pulling away inches from his face
Xi Men didn’t say anything but pulled her lips back onto his. They kissed with so much passion, letting go all of their feelings for each other.
Finally, Xiao You pulled away and sat besides him: “That was not good for your health right now.”
Xi Men: “I don’t care.”
They stared at each other trying to understand, communicate, love through their eyes.
“Does this mean she is forgiving me? She kissed me. No one would know that feeling because, it was so special, I don’t even know how to describe it. Her kisses were so passionate and hot, I haven’t tasted that since forever. Forgive me Xiao You, I wont ever strike my third…I really love you so much.” Xi Men thought
“Xi Men…I…I may be forgiving you. My heart is telling me to, my whole body is telling me to…but what about me?” Xiao You thought
“Xiao You…” Xi Men began determined to get back on the subject
“Xi Men, I…I…” Xiao You started
Xi Men encouraged her: “You what? Say it…”
“I forgive you.” She finally said
Xi Men used all his strength to get and hug her. Xiao You cried softly on his shoulders as she hugged him back with tears rolling down her cheeks. Xi Men closed his eyes and breathed deeply making sure she wont slip from his arms again.
“I love you, Xiao You.” Xi Men said as he hugged her with all his strength
“I love you too.” Xiao You whispered
“I…I thought you didn’t love me anymore since we broke up, I’m just glad you forgive me and love me again.” Xi Men murmured
“Well I learned, I learned that second chances are necessary and that as long as you love me back…” Xiao You replied
Xi Men: “I’ll never stop loving you and won’t plan to since I started.”
