San Cai: “Um…”
Xi Men: “Whoa, is this like your first fight?”
Xiao You glared at him: “Mind your own business.”
Xi Men smiled: “Ok.”
He leaned down to give her a peck on the cheek: “You look gorgeous.”
Xiao You smiled back: “So do you.”
San Cai rolled her eyes: “Get a room.”
Xi Men grinned at her then at Nick: “Hey Nick, who is the lucky girl you’re taking to the party?”
Nick smiled: “Chloe.”
Xi Men laughed: “Chloe, you look beautiful.”
Chloe smiled sweetly: “Thank you, uncle Xi Men.”
~MZ’S PARTY~
MZ’s party was not a formal one so everyone didn’t need to be dressed fancily in gowns and suits. MZ himself was only wearing an Armani shirt and cool baggy jeans. XQ was dressed in a jumpsuit with a neckline stopping above her navel…not that MZ minded.
San Cai: “Wow, XQ, you look awesome.”
Xiao You laughed: “MZ, aren’t you afraid if a guy tires to steal her?”
MZ grinned: “Not after tonight.”
Xi Men: “What do you mean?”
MZ: “You’ll see.”
San Cai looked through the crowd for Lei and spotted him with a pretty girl next to him. Lei looked up and saw San Cai, his eyes popped seeing her outfit.
San Cai wore a short flirty skirt below her waist and a sheer tube top hugging her whole upper body. Her hair cascaded below her shoulders and her legs was bare for all eyes to feast upon.
“Eat your heart out, Lei.” San Cai thought happily seeing his reaction. Being with a girl wont affect her anymore, those tricks were way too old.
Xiao You was dressed in a tight halter top and demin skirt that barely covered her ass. Simple, but sexy.
Guys that passed whistled at the girls while their boyfriends glowered angrily.
Xi Men whispered to Xiao You: “Man, you have got to start wearing clothes.”
Xiao You giggled: “Really? Then wouldn’t your attention turn to other girls?”
Xi Men kissed her sweetly on the lips: “Of course not.”
Xiao You rolled her eyes: “Yea right.”
Xi Men pouted: “I really changed.”
Xiao You pretended to walk away: “Fine, I’ll ask XQ for a old fashioned dress that wont show any flesh.”
Xi Men pulled her back into his arms: “Actually, for tonight, this’ll be just fine.”
Xiao You smiled and reached up to kiss him: “You are smooth talking again.”
Xi Men grinned: “Is it working?”
Xiao You smiled: “Maybe.”
Xi Men leaned down to kiss her passionately on the lips when MZ tapped him on the shoulder: “Get a room, my guests might lose their appetites…I already lost mine.”
Xi Men laughed: “Let’s call it even, I lost my appetite more than once when you and XQ are so mushy in VS.”
MZ blushed: “You’re just jealous.”
Xi Men shrugged: “Maybe I was, but now I wont have to be…”
Xiao You laughed: “MZ, are you blushing?!”
MZ groaned: “I need serious back up.”
Xi Men: “I’ll be your back up?”
MZ glared at him: “What do you mean? You aren’t making any sense.”
Xi Men: “Look behind you, I think you’ll need back up to keep those bastards off your fiancée.”
MZ’s eyes glowed with anger as he saw many guys surrounding his girlfriend: “Thanks man.”
“I’ll be right back.” Xi Men said to Xiao You who just laughed

San Cai was in MZ’s garden which was lined up with flowers. The grass was neatly cut and fresh with the night dew shimmering on it. She sat on a bench that faced the party and watched.
“What are you doing out here alone?” he asked
San Cai jumped a little, startled by his voice: “Dao Ming Si.”
He sat down next to her: “Where is Lei?”
San Cai nodded to the direction of the party.
DMS: “You guys in a fight?”
She shrugged.
“Fine, let’s just sit in silence.” He laughed
San Cai smiled gratefully at him and nodded.
DMS placed a warm hand on her shoulder and she let her head drop back onto his shoulder: “It’s really nice to have a good friend.”
DMS’s heart ached with pain as he stared sadly at her: “Is that all I am to you now?” he thought sadly.
DMS’s POV: I loved you. Loved. But now? Maybe it’s time. Time for me to let go.
The two sat in the garden almost embracing…but now they are only…friends.
~INSIDE~
Xiao You spotted Nick(her boss) in the party and waved to him. Nick came over with a huge smile on his face: “Xiao You.”
“What are you doing here?” she asked
Nick: “Well MZ wanted to thank me for entertaining him last Christmas with the models so now he invited me.”
Xiao You shook her head: “That guy…”
Nick smiled: “So how are things with you and lover boy?”
Xiao You: “Pretty well.”
Nick looked at her: “Really?”
Xiao You nodded trying to avoid his eyes, she couldn’t hide anything from him.
“You are hiding something.” Nick said softly
“No I’m not!” Xiao you practically shouted
“Hey, calm down. Want to talk about it?” he asked
Xiao You shook her head firmly: “I said, nothing is wrong.”
Nick: “Alright, fine. But you know it feels better to spill than to keep it in.”
Nick began to walk away when Xiao You caught his hand: “Wait…there is something I want to tell you…”
