She still looked angelic in her red gown, they didn’t do anything last night but surprisingly Xi Men was happy…really happy. As long as she was by his side, he didn’t care what they did.
Although it was winter, Xiao You was just cuddled up against Xi Men without a blanket, his room was well heated so she didn’t feel the coldness at all.
“Why are you staring at me like that?” Xiao You asked
Xi Men blinked: “Huh? Oh, you’re awake!”
Xiao You walked into the bathroom and got dressed, still a little bit shy around Xi Men after they are together again.
When she opened the bathroom door, she was face to face with Xi Men: “Oh my god! You scared me, I could have slammed the door in your face, you know!”
Xi Men grinned cheekily: “My sweetheart would never do that to me.”
Xiao You walked out to the terrace and at once, she felt the icy cold wind blast in her face and whip her hair around.
“Haha, when did you become so mushy, Xi Men? And who is your “sweetheart”?” Xiao You laughed
Xi Men joined her outside not feeling that cold, he hugged her from behind and nuzzled her neck: “You are, arent you?”
Xiao You pushed him away laughing out loud: “Silly.”
Xi Men shrugged and watched her, she rubbed her arms and shivered in the cold.
“Brrr, it’s feezing but still no snow.” Xiao You complained’
Xi Men slid his arms around her tiny waist: “Hey, I offered you my body heat, and you pushed me away.” He teased
Xiao You blushed, it actually made her feel hot inside and cold outside.
Xi Men: “You want to see snow?”
Xiao You nodded: “They rarely happen in Tai Wan.”
“Let’s go to New York together.” Xi Men suggested out of the blue
Xiao You turned around, confused: “What?”
Xi Men pressed his forehead against hers: “I said let’s go to New York, there is plenty of snow there.”
Xiao You smiled: “Why New York?”
“Because that was the place where we first confessed our love to each other.” Xi Men murmured and nudged her, making her lift her lips up. A simple peck turned into a steamy hot kiss.
Maybe staying out in the cold wasint so bad after all…when you are with a gorgeous hunk who loves you dearly and you love him back just as much.
Their heads turned and twisted in all directions, trying to taste every corner of their mouthes. Their eyes were closed blissfully, with his arms around her neck and waist and hers on his chest and in his hair.
~XIAO YOU’S HOUSE~
San Cai had never felt so alone before. Even when her parent moved out, she didn’t even feel so lonely and empty as she did now. Xiao You wasint here to talk to her and the kids were sleeping (separate rooms) upstairs.
Sitting on the sofa with a hot mug of coca in her hands, she waited for something to happen.
The doorbell rang.
She ran to open it, and saw Lei.
Lei.
He stood by the door with a bag in his hands. He brought breakfast for Chleo and Nick as and excuse to see San Cai.
“Lei.” San Cai said breathlessly
Lei stared at her, his eyes filled with love and warmth. He smiled.
That was all it took for San Cai to leap into his arms and kissed him passionately. Her lips pressed hard against his at first but then it turned gentle and tender. He was stunned but thrilled and kissed her back with equal passion he kept inside him. The breakfast in his hand dropped carelessly onto the floor.
He didn’t know why she did that, but did he care? No. She was in his arms, they are kissing like hungry animals. The tempurature around them rose as their kisses turned hot and lustful.
Nick woke up early and came downstairs: “Auntie San Cai, who is here…EWW!!”
Nick groaned and covered his eyes: “Man, why do I have to see these scenes?”
Smiling and blushing at the same time, Lei and San Cai broke their kiss but their eyes were glued onto each other.
“Sorry, I don’t know why I did that.” She whispered
Lei didn’t say anything but an amusing smile tugged at his lips.
“Alright fine! I missed you!” She shouted for all she cared
“I missed you too.” Lei murmured and kissed her again. She responded quickly, this didn’t care if Nick was standing there, I mean, he had already seen these scenes a million times before.
“Uh, I’ll go to my room and remind Chloe not to come down yet.” Nick moaned and shut his door close.

~COTTAGE IN CANADA~
San Cai and Lei stayed in a small cottage near the woods for their trip in Canada.
San Cai: “I didn’t know Canada had cottages.”
Lei smirked: “Have you ever been here?”
San Cai pouted: “That it mean!”
“In fact I did, Nick took us here before for a fashion show.” She retorted
Lei: “Oh, “us”? Good, that means it wasint only you two.”
San Cai smiled slyly: “He took “us” to the fashion show, but me and another MALE model stayed in a cottage together…ALONE!”
Lei’s face reddened with jealousy: “You…you never told me that before.”
San Cai laughed: “You can get jealous?”
“And besides, you shouldn’t trust women’s words these days.” She smiled
“Of course I can get jealous, my girlfriend alone with…with…” Lei stuttered
“Just kidding, Lei!” she giggled seeing him getting more and more jealous, she was so turned on by his sexyness, he was wearing a button down shirt with the top three buttons left open, only he can manage to pull one off while being jealous.
Lei pouted: “Hey!”
San Cai walked towards him and began to unbutton his shirt: “Like I said, you shouldn’t trust women’s words these days…”
“Playing smart with me, ei?” he teased
She hushed him and kissed him, finishing off unbuttoning his shirt, running her hands inside his hard warm chest.
Lei was delighted and aroused but he couldn’t tell if this was what she wanted. She had always pushed him away before, he didn’t want to be rejected all of a sudden in the middle and then they’d be fighting again.
Lei pulled San Cai away for a moment: “San Cai, are you sure about this?”
“I…I don’t want to force you…” Lei began but she already got off him.
“Sorry if you didn’t like that.” She muttered and started to go into her room
Lei caught her arm: “San Cai!”
San Cai’s face immeditely turned red, she was humiliated being rejected twice!
“I loved that, I was just not sure if you…” Lei explained softly
But San Cai pulled her arm away: “Being rejected once is embaressing, but twice…it’s just plain humliating!”
Lei: “San Cai, listen! Didn’t you push me away so many times before?!”
San Cai blushed: “You started it.”
Lei: “That time, that time…I…”
“I’m tired, must be jet lag.” She lied and shut the door to her room.
“Urgghh!! Why does it always have to end this way?!” Lei shouted and punched the wall
~NIGHT~
San Cai finally came out of her room wearing a long overcoat which she wrapped tightly around herself, the coat covered most of her body.
Lei was sitting on the sofa waiting for her, his head jerked up as he saw her come out: “San Cai!”
San Cai ignored him, she slipped into her flip flops and and turned the knob of the door trying to open the door.
“Uh, in case you forgot, the door is in the back, the front is broken.” Lei reminded her
San Cai glared at him and marched towards the back door, on the way, Lei tripped her purposely and she fell…right onto his lap.
“Lei! That was mean!” She scolded angrily
Lei smiled slyly: “I just needed to remind you where you belong.”
San Cai scowled: “And where is that?”
“In my arms.” Lei murmured against her neck
San Cai struggled to push him away: “Let, go! I need to go out.”
Lei looked at her weirdly: “For what? It’s so late.”
San Cai rolled her eyes: “None of your buisness.”
She got off him and began to walk to the back door again.
“You’re not going to meet the “male model” you stayed with ALONE in Canada are you?” Lei teased
San Cai rolled her eyes and smacked her head unbelievebly, she turned around to face him and a smile tugged at the corner of her lips: “You can follow me if you want.”
“Why would I want to do that?” Lei asked pretending to not care
“Because I’m going to remove this.” San Cai smiled slyly and held up her coat.
Lei grinned naughtily: “And whats under that?”
San Cai snorted: “That’s for me to know and you to find out.”
She opened the door and walked out to the back…Lei followed.
~LAKE~
There was a surprisingly clean and clear lake at the back of their cottage. San Cai removed her coat in the dark and jumped in. She revealed a two piece bikini that was the darkest black.
Lei stood there staring at her: “Wow, I didn’t know you knew how to swim.”
San Cai smiled and flipped her hair back: “There is a lot of things you don’t know about me.”
Lei felt a throbing pain in his heart when she said that. “There are a lot of things you don’t know about me…” how come those words are almost true?
“I don’t know you anymore…” Le remembered her saying to him last time
The both of them hardly understand each other anymore…
Lei felt a tear fall from his eye suddenly.
San Cai: “Lei, what’s wrong?”
Lei turned away: “Nothing.”
She was worried about him so she pulled her coat back on and went up to him.
“Aww, big baby, what’s wrong?” She asked softly and placed a hand on his shoulder
Lei brushed her shoulder away: “Nothing, just go back swimming.”
Lei walked away from her and went into his room.
They don’t even share a room anymore. Two complete strangers. Is this really love?
San Cai instead of going back into the lake, went into her room to take a shower and then knocked on Lei’s door.
Lei was already asleep, or so it looked like it. She walked softly over to his bed and gazed at his mesmerizing face.
San Cai’s POV: He is so cute in this position, his face framing his perfectly handsome face, his lips curved into a slight smile…why did I push away again???
She reached out and stroked his face, tracing an outline of his lips.
“You are really good at pretending to be asleep.” She smirked
“Lei, if you are mad at me, continue sleeping.” She began
“If you arent…move over and make some room for me.” She finished
Lei silently moved over with his eyes still closed, San Cai crawled in besides him with a pleased smile on her face, she snuggled closer to his chest and pressed her cheek against it.
