In the car;
‘I miss ice cream! Let’s go eat ice cream!’ Guigui said excitedly like a kid. Wang Zi looked at her and shook his head. ‘But… it has been so long. Just a little…’ Guigui was showing puppy eyes. Wang Zi continued shaking his head.
‘Gui, listen to him. The doctor already said to stay away from junk foods and spicy foods. They are too ‘exciting’ for your body.’ Hebe told her, her tone was like a caring mother. Guigui pouts and Arron laughed then he said ‘I feel like a big happy family! I’m the daddy and Hebe’s the mummy and Gui’s the kid.’ ‘Then what about Wang Zi?’ ‘Oh… he is the grumpy old man!’ everyone in the car laughed while Wang Zi was showing Arron dagger eyes.
‘So… Daddy can we get ice cream?’ Guigui was pulling Arron’s sleeve showing puppy eyes hoping he would agree. Wang Zi glared at Arron.
‘Sorry… but the grumpy old man says no; but we can go have lunch now!’ Arron said.
At the Mall;
They were walking together finding lunch, Hebe was craving for pasta so they decided to eat at a western restaurant.
‘Daddy! I want meatball pasta!’ Guigui tugged onto Arron’s sleeve again. The restaurant setting was a round table so Hebe was on Arron’s left while Guigui was on his right.
The waiter looked at Arron with a weird look. After they finished ordering the waiter walked away. ‘Gui, stop calling Arron daddy, it’s so weird.’ Hebe whispered. ‘But…’ Guigui pouts then Arron cuts in ‘its okay, she’s so cute! I can treat it as a practice; next time when our child arrives I will be used to the term daddy. Call Mummy.’ ‘Mummy!’ ‘Good girl’ Arron pat Guigui’s head.
Wang Zi and Hebe shake their heads in disbelief, they can’t believe them; how childish can they get.
