-After one week-
“Awwwww! That’s so sweet!!” I squealed. YeEun sure has the sweetest way of saying I love you.
“Omg, I can’t believe you dragged him out there, unnie!” SoHee shook YeEun’s arm, who was blushing furiously.
“That’s my girl.” SunMi said proudly.
“Ahhhh, it was nothing.”
“Yeah right!” I yelled. “That was so adorable! Why wasn’t I there to see it?! Oh my gosh!! Unnie! Why didn’t you at least let us hide somewhere behind you?? I wanted to see!” I whined.
“Nooooo. It’s embarrassing.” She blushed.
“Tell us again, unnie!” SunMi cried out. YeEun sighed.
“Ok fine.”
[YeEun’s POV]
-flash back-
“Daesungie! Let’s go to Times Square.” I pouted cutely and dragged his arm out towards the lights. "Hey, wait." I stopped and pulled out the doraemon keychain I bought. It was a small thing but it was shiny.. AND it was holding this cute little heart in front of its stomach. ^-^ "While we were in that cellphone shop, I bought this for you.." I blushed and handed it to him. He squealed and attempted to put it on his Ice Cream cellphone.
"Hm. I'll get it on later. It's hard to put it on standing up." DaeSung sighed disappointedly. I giggled and pinched his cheek before I continued to drag him by the arm. It was snowing lightly, and the white fluff barely touched the ground before they melted.
“Eunnie, it’s cold.. Let’s go back to the apartment.” He glanced at his watch. “It’s almost 11 o’ clock.” I shook my head.
“No way. C’mon!” I pulled harder until he stopped resisting. We walked hand in hand through the crowd of people and stopped right in front of the infamous TV screen. I looked up to find no stars but snowflakes falling into my face and hair. It was snowing heavier. DaeSung chuckled and brushed the snow off my shoulders.
“Oh my gosh, YeEun. What are you doing? You can’t see anything in the sky.”
“Oppa, have I ever told you how much I love you?” I smiled. His eyes widened, making him look frightened.
-end of flash back-
“And… yeah, you guys know the rest.”
"Unnie, the rest is the best part, why can't you finish it??" I flushed. SunYe squealed, shook her head, and kicked her feet. She looked so immature. SoHee sighed dreamily and SunMi smiled proudly. If Yoobin were here, she’d probably tease me. It’s a good thing TOP took her out tonight. Hehehe..
“Ahhhhhhh, our YeEun is such a romantic person.” SunMi pinched my cheeks. I sneered at her, but she kept pulling on them.
“Yah! It hurts you know!” I pulled her hands off my face and rubbed my cheeks.
“Yeah, I know! Except you do it even harder than I do!”
“Go back to smiling.” I pushed her gently.
“I’m back!” We heard Yoobin call before she walked into our room. “What’s with the circle?”
“We’re talking?” SunMi …questioned?
“I know that.” Yoobin rolled her eyes. “What about?”
“OMG! Unnie! YeEun just had the sweetest and most romantic way of confessing to someone!” SunYe said excitedly. Yoobin’s eyes lit up.
“Tell me everything!”
“No way! I don’t want to tell it again!” I stressed ‘again’. Aigoo, I’m tired. “I’ll tell you later.” I yawned.
“Fine. Let’s go to bed then.” Yoobin ushered everyone out of our room. “Ok, now tell me.” She sat on her bed and smiled with anticipation. I groaned.
“Aishhhhh, ok.” And I told my story. For the third time tonight -.-
[SunMi’s POV]
“Manduuuuu! Let’s go to bed.” I smiled and pulled her through the doorway. “Night Unnie!” I said to SunYe.
“Night un-!” SoHee got in before I shut the door. “Geeeeez, what’s the rush?” She said annoyed.
“No rush.” I giggled. “Just want to spazz with you.” SoHee’s smile brightened up her whole face.
“Omg! Can you believe it?! That was so sweet of unnie!” She cried out loudly.
“I know! That was so cuteeeeeee!” I squealed and covered my cheeks.
“I want to be able to confess like that. Oh my goshhhhhh-“ She was interrupted with loud knocking through the wall. We turned to the sound.
“Whattttttt?” I yelled.
“Stop talking about it!” YeEun shouted. “Let me sleep.” Yeah right. Sleep. I bet she’s just embarrassed to hear us talking about it. Hehehehe.
“Looks like that’s the end of our spazzing. Go to sleep, SunMi.” SoHee said as she got under her covers. She yawned and closed her eyes. Just looking at her made me sleepy.
“Fine..” I muttered and got into bed. I tried sleeping for several minutes before I sat up and got my cellphone to check the time. 2AM? Kekekeke, I miss my brothers. Wonder what they’re up to righ-
My thoughts were interrupted with a phone call…. FROM MY BOYFRIEND! Omg, he’s actually calling me! I danced my happy dance mentally and answered the vibrating phone.
“Yoboseyo?” I kept the excitement out of my voice.
“SunMi?” He asked unsurely.
“JungTaek? Yeah, it’s SunMi.” I smiled slightly.
“Oh hey SunMi.”
“What’s u-up?” I stuttered when I suddenly heard the door open. I turned to my door to see it swing open lightly and SunYe bouncing in. Strange girl. She sat across from me on SoHee’s bed and watched the phone. She’s freaking me out! I covered the receiver. “Get out, unnie. I’m on the phoneeee.” I whispered. She just sat there. What’s she waiting for?
“Just ignore me.” She told me. I shrugged and went on with my conversation.
“I.. I have something to tell you.” I was suddenly suspicious and my defensive side took control of me.
“What is it?” I’m sure I sounded flat to his ears. SunYe’s eyebrows rose at the tone of my voice and how my face wasn’t smiling.
“I’ve… I’ve been with someone else for a while now.” I groaned quietly. Why does he tell me this? I felt angry and betrayed. This wasn’t the first time.
“Why? Why do you always do this to me??!” I nearly shouted but SunYe got up and took the phone out of my hands.
“Stop calling her. I don’t want to ever hear you being mentioned in my life again. Even if your name is being called from a stranger, I ‘m going to find and hurt you.” She threatened scarily. It wasn’t until she stroked my cheeks that I realized my tears were falling. Stupid boyfriend of mine. I took the hone from her hands and put it to my ear. It was quiet but he didn’t hang up.
“We’re over.” I hung up the phone and wept into SunYe’s shoulder.
“It’s ok, SunMi. He wasn’t good enough for you. You deserve better.” She murmured repeatedly as she hugged me and gently patted my back. I cried freely. Why does this always happen to me?
