"Ey, Missy!" He calls out, "are you getting on?"
She looks at him, smiles and shakes her head, "sorry, I'm just waiting for someone."
"Ok," he says closing the doors and drives off.
Gui remains sitting on the bench, waiting as the rain falls. Her phone rings, she slowly digs through her bag for her cellphone and accidentally cuts herself. She screams lightly as she looks at her bleeding fingers, the cut was deep but it wasn't severe. She takes her phone with the other hand and answers, "hello? Dad, what is it?"
There was a long silence.
Gui becomes scared, "dad... what is it?"
The silence is taken over by her dad's light whimpers. "Gui..." he begins to cry, "your mom..."
"What's wrong?" Gui panics, "dad--"
"Your mom... died..."
The look in her eyes changes as they fill up with tears, frozen as she sits there, in a split moment it was as if the rain had stopped, she could only hear her heart beat slowly... she drops her phone, the instant it hits the ground it breaks, everything continues... Gui begins to cry.
Aaron is running in the distance towards her, with two drinks in hand. He sees her, rushes up to her, "Gui, what's wrong?!"
She looks at him, quickly embraces him and cries.
He comforts her, "Gui..."
She cries onto him, remembering what they had talked about last night...
*Flashback...
He looked at her once more and turns to look at her. "if there was a day we weren't brothers and sisters would you remain beside me forever?"
Gui let the silent take over as she look at him lightly, she faces him and whispers, "only if that day comes..."*

She continues to lay on her bed, crawled up with her mother's picture, crying.
Aaron, stares at her from her bedroom door, slowly he closes the door, continues down the stairs in his school uniform. As he passes the kitchen there's no smell of pancakes anymore, no sound of the sizziling of the eggs on the cooking pan, nothing. He walks to the door and puts on his shoes as his dad sits silently on the couch, staring at the TV that wasn't even on. After getting his shoes on he looks at his dad blankly lets out a breath, "I'm going to school now..." he says but doesn't get an answer from his dad. Slowly, he exits the house.

"I can't believe it..." Xiao Man says as she sits next to Xiao Yu and Aaron just infront of them. She leans up and looks at him, "it's been a week now... she hasn't even showed up to class yet. Are you sure she'll be ok?"
Aaron just sighs and looks at her lightly, "I know she'll be... she just needs time."
Xiao Yu nods, "of course she'll be. This is how Gui is, she's a strong girl, she'll be better soon."
Xiao Man sits down next to Xiao Yu and sighs, "if there's anything I know about Gui... even since her parent's divorce... she'll do something stupid I know that for sure."
Aaron looks at her lightly, "what do you mean?"
Xiao Yu looks at him, "you really don't know?"
Aaron looked at them confused.
"When her parents divorced, Gui ran away from home." Xiao Man says lightly, "she was missing for two whole weeks, when they found her she was as thin as a bamboo stick... now that her mom... passed away... who knows what Gui would do..."
Xiao Yu nods, "it's been a week already... who knows how long she'll remain like this."
Aaron slowly faces the front of the classroom, scared Gui would really do something stupid. At this moment, he wished school would end soon.
