The expression she had on her face when she looked at me was different, I can't seem to make it out, but it seems like she really didn't know my face. We seemed so distance from each other, but that cannot be! I mean her face and her attitude is so much like Gillian's that I knew it had to be her, and she even responded when I called her Gillian so this must be her. Then I heard the sound of a car screeching to a stop next to us and someone stepped out of the car, one that I least expected.

-Nicholas's P.O.V-
Today was a bright sunny day for me, so I decided to take my Ferrari for a spin around the city and check on my territories to see if anyone had caused any trouble. But it seemed like today was a pretty peaceful and a quiet day, no one had caused any trouble and everything was like usual. People walking around on the pavement of the sidewalk happily chatting. Every time I see people talking happily the image of my love, Gill, would pop in my head. I miss her tender smile, her cute giggle, but it seemed to have just disappeared. The day she had left me was like a dream to me, I couldn't even remember clearly why she had left me, but all I know is that she is no longer beside me to talk to me anymore. It hurts me so badly to remember the happy past I use to have, but it's still better then the lonely life I have now.
While I was listening to the soft beat of the music pumping out from my car stereo, screaming and yelling brought my attention to the side of the sidewalk. I saw a guy and a girl struggling and the girl seemed like she was trying to release her hand form the guy's grip, but it looked as if he didn't care and kept holding on to her wrist.
Slowly, I got closer and realized it was Edison Chen who was holding on to the girl, but the face of the girl totally shocked me. I stepped on the breaks of my car immediately and ran out to where the two were arguing.
Once I opened the car door and stepped out, the face of that Edison Chen dude look so shocked to see me there and as for her, she was trying to run away, but luckily the Edison guy held on to her or else she would have ran away from me. I stepped up and yelled at him, “What the fuck do you think your doing, Edison Chen?” He blinked once or twice and answered, “What the hell? I'm supposed to ask what you mister so famous Nic Tse is doing parking n the middle of the street like that and yelling at me!”
I glared at him and walked over and yanked Gill's hand out of his reach and embraced her. She tried to push me away and make a run for it, but I held on to her never meaning let her go, not letting her leave me ever again. I looked at her face and cherished that moment, but then that Edison Chen had to break my moment.
“Nic let Gillian go! She is not your girlfriend or anything! You can't just barge into my business like that.” He stated as he tried to pull her away from me.
I just ignored Edison and pulled Gill over to the car and pushed her inside, shutting the door so she can't flee. Then I walked over to Edison and I just said, “I know you like her, but she's mine so it's best for you to hit the road.”
Those were my last words as I opened the door and drove off with Gill by my side, all quiet not daring to speak a word.
-End Of Nicholas's P.O.V-

-Gillian's P.O.V-
I tried to sneak away from that dude that was holding on to me and how many times have I tried to say that I don't know him, but it seemed like he was deaf or something and kept on ignoring me! I tried to break free and run away, but NO! The guy just had to tighten his grip leaving me standing on the sidewalk like a mad woman trying to release herself from a crazy guy.
Then out of no where I heard a car screech next to me, I turned my head to the direction only to see the one person I was hiding from for years reappear in front of my face. I tried to run and hide from him, but I totally forgot about the guy holding on to me so I couldn't run anywhere.
My face turned pale, when Nic stepped close to the two of us arguing. He yelled at the other guy, what was his name? Oh yea Nic said his name was Edison, I think, and before I knew it I was holding on to Nic's hand instead of the other dudes. Then Nic roughly pushed me in his car and locked it, not letting me escape. The car was special made or something because I couldn't open it from the inside, so I was stuck sitting there like a chicken waiting to be roasted. I watch Nic step up to the guy and say something to him.
After Nic was done with the little short chitchat he came back inside the car and drove off leaving the other guy standing on the curb, dumb founded. I didn't dare to say anything to Nic because back then I left Nic without saying goodbye properly and by the looks of his eyes, I can tell he still loves me deeply. But the image of what happened to me in the past is still laying heavily on me and making me feel so guilty. I would never let Nic know what had happened to me, even if it meant leaving my love once again.
After the long awkward silence Nic finally parked his car in front of a house, it look pretty cozy and welcoming, but it still had a feeling, like it's missing something. I sat there staring at the house when Nic opened the door for me and took my hand gently and took me inside. He took his keys and opened the door to the house, once you stepped inside you saw two very comfy looking sofas colored beige laying there. In front of it is a big 72-inch television, equipped with a surround sound stereo, a DVD player, ps2, x box, game cube, you name it is all there in front of your face. And like 10 steps away is a little bar where Nic keeps all his alcohol at and next to that little bar is the flawless looking kitchen. As if no one had ever cooked in it before, so it was sparkling clean with not even an iota of dust on it.
After a long period of time standing in awe Nic lead Gill to the sofa to sit down and went into the kitchen to pour Gill a nice cold glass of water. Once he came back he said, “Gill, is that really you?”
I didn't want to say yes, but I couldn't say no because the way I looked at him I can tell he knows I'm his old girlfriend. So with hesitation I slightly nodded and look away trying not to look at him. I wasn't really paying attention, but then I felt warm air breathing against my cheeks so I turned around and Nic threw his arms around me and hugged me. I felt so warm and safe in his arms, but I knew this moment wouldn't last very long.
After a moment of silence Nic let go of me and started to talk again.
“Gill, why did you leave me back then? I loved you so much and I still do, but why did you leave me? If I did anything wrong, just tell me, I'll change and we can be with each other forever.”
I felt overwhelming happiness when I heard Nic say he would do anything for me as long we can be together, but deep down I knew it could not happen. I must leave Nic and make him totally forget me and make the name Gill, leave his heart forever.
“Nic, there is nothing wrong with you, I just don't like you anymore so leave me alone!” I shouted but was trying her best to keep my tears inside me. After I said that I quickly got up and ran for the door, Nic saw this and ran after me. He blocked me with nowhere to run, he pushed me against the wall and harshly kissed me, tears streamed down my cheeks leaving stains of wetness on my face. I didn't respond to the kiss and broke it immediately to open the door and leave.
Nic was shocked at what just happened so he just stood there, but then he went to the door to see if Gill was anywhere near by. But it was too late, Gill was long gone from sight, Nic slowly let a tear slid down his face and stood there looking up to the sky. What he didn't know was Gill was just hiding behind the fence watching Nic's every move.
As soon as I saw Nic looking so sad and gloomy and watching that tear that slid down his cheek. All of my emotions leaked out like a leaking pipe, I fell to the ground and I hugged my knees and cried.
