Gill was sick that day and plans to stay home that night and rest. As she almost close her eyes, her phone rang. She tries to reach the phone as fast as she can, but she fall down because she was so tire and wanted to sleep. Gill slowly tries to stand up and come close to the phone and answer it.
“Hello?” Gill asked weakly with a cough.
“Gill, can you come and see me? I won the race! I want to celebrate it with you.” Nic exclaimed with a smile. He was too excited to hear Gill’s coughing.
“Now?” Gill wondered, hoping that she don’t have to go. But also she doesn’t want to hurt Nicholas because today is his victory. She doesn’t want to reject him and make he feel sad and so she just wonder that do she have to go.
“Yeah, is that fine with you?” Nicholas whispered and hope she can come and share his joyful moment with him.
“Ok Nic, I will come as soon as possible.” Gill hang up and get dress. She was so tire. Gill walk out of the house in the rain coughing but she still try her best to walk as fast as she could to come and see Nicholas. She look around and see if there’s a taxi that she can catch. She waves her arm as the taxi stop. She gets in the taxi and it slowly take her to AngelLight603.
Gill slowly walks down the taxi and walk away. Her head was spinning around and it seems like the world is turning up side down to her. She walks and walk and she suspect that someone is following her. She stops and look back and she don’t see anybody behind her. She keep walking and walking but she feel the person behind her are catching up with her really fast. She turn around again and see a guy cover her mouth and pull her into a bush. She was in the bush and she saw Nicholas walking and looking around. She try to scream but the guy’s hand had cover her mouth stopping her not to say a word.
The guy saw Nicholas walking away and now he trying to finish his business. He quickly tear her shirt off. Gill feel the cold raindrop dropping on her body give her a shiver. But she can’t move. He was too strong and his body force stop her from moving. The cold air blew into her skinny body and her tear now had drop down from her eyes. She can feel something enter her body and she try to scream, but then again, he cover her mouth. She cry and cry but her crying making no sound. She cry inside her heart. She keep moving around and around, the guy got annoy and slap her make her faint.
Early in the morning, she wake up and see her clothes are falling apart. She cry and cover her mouth, hoping no one see her naked. She doesn’t know what to do. She doesn’t know how to get home. As she try to think, her sister call her.
“Gill, where are you?” Joey asked worry. On the other side, Joey heard Gill sob. “Gill, are you alright?”
“Joey, can you do me a favor? Get some clothes for me and come to AngelLight603 please. Can you do it fast? I really need it.” Gill cry out loud and hang up the phone. She try to get some of the clothes that are still fine and cover up her body.
Joey reach AngelLight603 in 10 minutes and she look around. Gill called her and Joey was shock and see Gill half naked. Joey give Gill the clothes and Gill quickly dress. Joey was surprise when she saw her sister and Gill cry. Joey doesn’t know what to do. She was paralyzed. After Gill got dress, she quickly walk away. She doesn’t want to tell Joey the horrible thing that happens last night. As she try to walk, she immediately collapse.
Joey called the ambulance and later she find out that Gill was sick. Joey tried to ask so many times about what happen that night but Gill doesn’t tell her. Joey respect Gill’s decision and so she always keep it inside her heart.
From all the thinking, Gill decide to break up with Nicholas. Is not that she afraid that Nicholas will mind about she got rape. She doesn’t want Nicholas find out what happen and he will feel guilty about him calling Gill out at night. The reason she doesn’t want Nicholas to know about she got rape is because she find out that the person is Nicholas is Nicholas enemy. She write him a letter and broke up with him.

Listen to the song; I wonder if you have ever thought the same way? Well doesn't really matter now. My love for you will eventually fade away like yours for me and our memories together were nothing to you and to me but an imaginary story put together by two crazy people. We will be the strangers on street, a nod or maybe a smile as we pass by, greeting each other. “Hum...she looks familiar. Have I met her somewhere?” “He looks like someone I know from the past. I wonder if we have ever encountered.” But then life moves on, so we move along with life. But that was the worst scenario I could come up with. Perhaps we will meet someday again, “Hello, how have you been?” “I am fine thank you and what about you?” “I am all right. Hey, I am busy, I will catch you later.” “Sure, keep in touch.” And actually, we will never call or see each other again, forgetting when we last ran into each other. We have become so polite, so professional with our greeting. We're afraid to stay with each other a minute longer. Funny isn't it. But that is real life.

Gill move on with her life, but that incident always in her mind. She can never forget about that night that had change her whole life. From that day, she promise to herself to never think about Nicholas or love him anymore. She try really hard to keep her promise, but the day she saw Nic again, she wanted to tell him how much she love him. She walk away from him and inside of her really hurt. She doesn’t want Nicholas to know the truth and she think he will find out soon after they back together again. From that day, she keep following him sneakily. She saw him got drunk every night and she saw him crying. She cry as she saw him cry.
But later this week, she got sick. The doctor said she got HIV. Gill doesn’t know what to do. All she know right now is that she wanted to see Nicholas again. All she wanted to do is to find her long lost sister that she got separate ever since they were born. She know that her second hope will never come true because she is running out of time. But can her first wish come true?
Joey understand that she want to see Nic again so Joey immediately run and find Nic. She saw Nic drunk. She tell Nicholas that Gill is sick and hoping that he can go and see her. Joey can see that Nicholas really love Gill.
[End of Flashback]
After Nicholas know the story, he run into the hospital. He got into the door but he stop. He doesn’t know what to say when he saw her. Because he had called and asked to see her in the past had change her life. He was unsure about what to do. He wanted to see her but he doesn’t have the gut to see her. Sometimes, people in life know what they want but they always scare and afraid that the thing they want is hard to get.
Nic walk away. It was dark outside and he wanted to get some drink. He always think and he know is the truth that drinking doesn’t help. But he still want to hide away from the fact. He got into a disco and he ask for a drink. He doesn’t care what happen now. All he know is that he want to forget everything in life and run away from the truth. Even a strongest man like him now wants to get away from life. He saw Gillian is drinking on the other side.
