“Nicholas, before I answer to your proposal, I would like to tell you something. I think you should know this and then decide do you still want to be with me or not. Nic, I’m…I’m pregnant!” Gillian closed her eyes and turned away. Her tears start to fall down. She love Nicholas, but also she like Ed too. She like Ed in the past, the Edison that always makes her laugh. But after that night, she hate him. Nicholas come to her and bring the joy into her life. She want to be with him. But the past had separate them being together.
Nic was dazed after he heard what Gillian had said. He chuckled and wondered if God is playing with his life or what. His parents die when he was little. He lost the person he love, Gill, and now is Gillian. He want to accept her, but the illusion inside his head that she is pregnant keep pulling him away from Gillian.
“What the fuck is happening to my life God? Why are you making me like this?” He start to tumbled down the sand and hit the rock that he sat on. His hands were all blending. He saw Gillian walking away and he heard her trying to hold her crying down. His hands hurt outside, but in his heart is now all broking off.
Gillian walking forcing herself not to cry, but somehow the tears are keep falling down. She walked along the beach under the moonlight shining on the water. She heard some footsteps following her, but she doesn’t really care now.
“Gillian, are you alright?” Edison asked softly. Edison had followed Gillian ever since the day of the incident. He look dead now, the body without soul. He didn’t shave and didn’t even take a shower. He doesn’t eat much lately, and he keep following Gillian.
“What do you want from me now? Don’t you have enough of your fun already?” Gillian yelled and wiped away her tears off.
“Gillian, I’m really sorry. I never want to hurt you. Well, first I just want to play you like other girls because you were acting all hard to get. But the more I know you I change my thought. I truly didn’t mean to do that. Please forgive me.” Edison whispered softly and hoping Gillian understand his feelings.
“If you truly like me, you wouldn’t do that to me. And do you think I will trust your word? No offense or anything, but for a loser like you will never understand what is love. You always play around and never get serious. Once you acting serious, no one will believe what you’re saying. I might be mean by saying it, but it’s true. Now, I’m calling myself stupid for liking you in the first place, which makes my heart hurt.” Gillian said and try to walk away, but Edison quickly grabbed her hand back. Gillian turned around and slapped him and began to say, “Take your stupid dirty hand off me.”
“Is it because of Nicholas? Is it?” Edison asked, still grabbing her hand.
“Is none of your business.” Gillian exclaimed and pull her hand off and walk away, leaving Edison unexplainable answer. Edison was mad. He quickly walk away looking for Nicholas.
Nicholas is laying on the sand tire from express his anger by hitting his hands on the rock. Joey had followed him ever since he got out of the hospital is behind him in the bush. She was stunned when she see Gillian look exactly like Gill. Joey know that Gill is not her blood related sister, but she treat Gill like her real sister. Now looking at Gillian, she realize that Gillian is Gill’s twin. She wanted to go out there and support Nicholas, but she afraid that he will ask her why is she here. She can’t say that she care for him and so she following. She doesn’t want Nicholas to know that she like him because her sister is in the hospital and she out here saying to her sister’s man that she like him.
“Nicholas, I want to race you.” Edison yelled out as he walking toward Nicholas. Nicholas sit up as he heard a man’s voice challenging him on the race. He see Edison’s face glowing in the dark with anger. He can feel that this time, Edison is serious. But Nicholas doesn’t care. He’s tire from all the racing and fighting. All he wanted now is to be alone. But Edison disturbed his quietness.
“I don’t want to race you. There is nothing between us that we need to race.” Nicholas exclaimed and stand up looking at his hands bleeding. “All I want now is to be alone, so just go away.”
“There is nothing between us that we need to race? What the fuck do you consider there’s something between us? You took my damn fucking girl and now you said there’s nothing between us? You lil mother fucking jack ass.” Edison stormed angry and punched Nicholas on his face. Nicholas didn’t know it was coming and so he can’t dodge away from the punch.
“What the fuck are you talking about? Who the fuck is your girl that I take? Nigga, you have tons of girl out there, I don’t want none of them because I have a girl already. My fucking God” Nicholas shouted and wiped off the blood on his mouth caused my Edison’s strong punch.
“Bastard, don’t you play with me. I saw you kissing my damn girl just an hour ago and now you said you don’t know who’s my girl. It was close that I respect Gillian or else I would come out and beat the shit out of you.” Edison spoke angry.
Nicholas now realize that Edison is the bastard that make Gillian pregnant. He’s the one that separate him and Gillian apart. “So you the fucking bastard that make Gillian pregnant.” Nicholas now mad and try to beat Edison up. Nicholas punch Edison’s face, which Edison fall down on the sand. Edison quickly got up and try to punch Nicholas into his stomach. Nicholas dodge that, but instead, Edison quickly use his foot and kick Nicholas’s leg, which Nicholas fall down. Nicholas get up and punch Edison again.
“Stop! That’s enough. You two are acting like those teenage boys who fighting or a girl. You guys are grown up and acting like this. Why don’t you take this anger and use it on the racing. Try to see who win on the race will get her. The one that lose need to have the sportsmanship and congrats the winner with her.” Joey behind immediately run up and stop the fight. Edison and Nicholas think it’s a good idea and so they agree and the race began…

“Yo yo yo, ain’t ya lucky being here today my nigga. Today, there will be two great car racers will bomb this place yo. This will be great man. Wonder who will win my folk. Well, one is the Big Brother Nicholas Tse and another one is the richest guy in the car racing industry, Edison Chen. This going to be tough man, so just place your bet” The M.C speaks as he looking around trying to bet on the contestant.
Nicholas looking around and he saw Joey standing next to him. He remembered the day he saw Gillian and Gillian. And today, he here racing again and now Joey is next to him. He realized that most of the girl he meet at the racetrack ended up he like and hurt him. He doesn’t want it to happen anymore and so he decided not to use any passenger this time.
On the other side, Edison sit down in a dark spot and think about what happen in his life. All his life, he never serious about what he done and being here today, he actually done something that he serious about. Gillian is the girl that God had brought her into his life. He had hurted her and he want to make it up. She doesn’t give him the chance, but God that blessing him right now actually give him the chance. He was thinking that this maybe the last hope he has for this situation. He wanted to win this race and make up for what he has done to Gillian.
“Yo, get ready because Brother Nic and Edison will crash this place yo. So Brother Nic and Edison, are you ready?” the M.C asked as he saw Edison and Nicholas get in the car and waved their hand out the window, saying that they ready.
“Ready, GO!” The man said as he shoots the gun. The people gather around and cheer crazily. They were shouting under the hot night in Hong Kong. The race was all crowded and people bet and bet more and more money. This might be the biggest race in the car racing history.
Cecilia got into AngleLight603 and heard that Nicholas is racing. She was looking around and suddenly she heard something that is really gets on her nerves.
“You know why they racing?” One man asked.
“Yo man, I heard they racing because of a chick.” Another man replied back. “And you remember the chick that used to be Brother Nic last passenger on the race with Edison? That chick looks FINE I tell ya man. I mean she look all hot and shit. No wonder they both fall for her.” They both laugh off and start looking at the race. Cecilia was shock, also mad. She immediately get her cell phone out and call Gillian.
“Yo bitch, you better come to AngelLight603 now.” Cecilia stormed in anger as she look at the race.
“Bitch, don’t you call me bitch you lil whore. Don’t mess with me today.” Gillian cut off and about to hang up as she heard Cecilia yelled, “YOU BETTER COME FAST TO SEE EDISON AND NICHOLAS RACING FOR YOU TO DEATH. I’M TELLING YOU, HURRY UP!”
After Gillian heard what Cecilia had told her, she stand still and don’t know what to do, but the horn’s car behind her had woke her up. She quickly get into the taxi and arrive to AngelLight 603. As she got there, she saw a lot of people gather down on the racetrack. She have the feeling up on the sky that there’s something happening. She can feel some death coming near to one of the guy she love and love her too. She run down sweating hoping Nic or Ed would be fine. When she arrived, she saw their car crashed. One was in a coma and another one’s head bleeding. Her tears are falling down. She doesn’t want this to happen. They both racing because of her love and now they person in the coma was…
