“Yo yo yo, ain’t ya lucky being here today my nigga. Today, there will be two great car racers will bomb this place yo. This will be great man. Wonder who will win my folk. Well, one is the Big Brother Nicholas Tse and another one is the richest guy in the car racing industry, Edison Chen. This going to be tough man, so just place your bet” The M.C speaks as he looking around trying to bet on the contestant.
“Yo, get ready because Brother Nic and Edison will crash this place yo. So Brother Nic and Edison, are you ready?” the M.C asked as he saw Edison and Nicholas get in the car and waved their hand out the window, saying that they ready.
“Ready, GO!” The man said as he shoots the gun. The people gather around and cheer crazily. They were shouting under the hot night in Hong Kong. The race was all crowded and people bet and bet more and more money. This might be the biggest race in the car racing history.
For now Edison is leading the racing, Nicholas was close behind, but he doesn’t want to pass Edison yet. So he stays close behind Edison’s wheel. From the far distant you can hear people cheering still. All Edison did was bump up his music louder and concentrate on the road. He checks the rear mirror and can tell Nicholas is waiting for the opportunity to pass him. Edison can’t slack off or blink because the chance for Nic to pass can happen and minute or second. Nic changed gears and moved up next to Edison, they eyed each other and both switch gears at the same time advancing speed.
Nic seeing a corner nearby and grinned victoriously, this is the chance for him to pass Edison. Edison knowing that Nic is the expert at corners cautiously turns a quick corner. Too bad for Edison Nic expert drifting, pass his with in seconds and is in the lead again. Drifting is when the wheels skid and their speed will remain the same this is extremely hard to accomplish without crashing into a bush.
Nic is now in the lead and is only one block away from the finish line. Gillian his love will finally remain with his forever. Edison can see the finish line and no way was he letting Nic beat him that easily without some fight. Edison switch on NOS and drove side by side with Nic. Nic not wanting to let Edison beat him either switch on turbo and switch gears to go ever faster. The two is now side by side neither beating the other; the crowd went quiet watching the two best racers from afar.
Nic was only a few yards from winning the race when all of a sudden Edison’s car hit his and let the two cars hitting to two opposite sides. Edison didn’t want Nicholas win so rather losing he want the race never to be finished. The crowd gasps and all ran to their bother, or their favorite racer.
“Brother Nic!! Are you ok?!?!” One of Nic’s followered shouted while trying to yank the door open. Nic didn’t answer, but stay still in his car. On the other side Edison was knocked out cold from the impact and now blood was trickling down his face. Two of his followers came and pulled open the door and yanked out their bother.
“Yo!! Mother fucker Call the ambulance!!” Edison’s follower shouted seeing the sever case seeing that his brother Edison is in. People quickly pulled out their hand phones and dial 999 immediately. Edison was still breathing, but he was losing blood too much and had fainted. While Nic no one is sure yet because he haven’t got pulled out the car at this moment. Everyone was quiet praying that the two racers would be ok. When all of a sudden a yellow taxi cab pulled up and out came a girl looking like a mess.
The door to Nic’s car suddenly open and the followered shouted, “Brother Nic’s car finally open!! Call the fucking ambulance! He’s losing blood like hell!!”
Gillian hearing the guy shouted immediately ran to Nic’s side only to see Nic holding onto his head which is now painted red with his blood. And his hands are full of bruises and cuts. She can still see him open his eyes for five seconds only to smile at her and then fainted. Gillian hugged onto Nic and cried, her shirt is now stained with Nic’s blood and her tears had blend in with his wounds.
She then remembers Edison so she quickly looked around for him when she saw a yellow Lamborghini smashed up on the other side. She sprawled on her feet and ran to the other side. The spectators watch at Gillian ran from Nic’s side to Edison. They finally know the girl that the two racing for was absolutely beautiful even though she’s in a totally mess, with blood on her shirt and some blood stains on her face.
Once Gillian saw Edison she nearly fainted, he was in an ever worse condition that Nic was. A big piece of Glass from the windshields is stuck in his head and blood was continuously shedding from the wound. Little pieces of glass are in his skin while blood had painted his whole face and shirt red. Gillian never realizes the ambulance take so long to arrive, it’s only 2 minutes but it seems like hours to everyone. Nic and Edison’s breaths are slowing down and are both having trouble with breathing. Finally two ambulances came and took Edison and Nicholas to the hospital. Gillian didn’t know which ambulance to go with, but seeing Edison in a worsen condition she went with Edison while Nicholas had Cecilia watching over him. Everyone just stood still watching the two ambulances left while some had tears dripping from their eyes. Once the ambulances arrive at the hospital they push Edison and Nicholas into the emergency rooms. The hospital nurses recognize Edison so they called his father immediately. Within minutes Ekin arrive at the hospital only to see a Gillian sitting infront of the door waiting for it to open. She was rummaging her hair furiously while her whole body was drenched with blood from Nic and Edison and her face is full of tears.
Within two hours Nic got pushed out of one of the rooms and is left to rest in one of the patients’ room. Cecilia was by his side the whole time praying to God and God had finally answered to her by letting Nic be well. It has pass two hours and the operation for Edison was still going and Gillian looker worse by the minute. Ekin try to comfort Gillian, but she had no response and continue to cry. Two more hours took place and finally the doctor came out.
“Who are the family members of Edison Chen?” The doctor asked while taking off his mask.
Ekin and Gillian rushed up to him and Ekin shouted, “I’m his father! Tell me what happen!”
“I’m sorry Mr. Chen, but Edison is now in a coma. The glass was too deep we tried out best.” The doctor said while watching the two people cry again.
