[EDISON’S P.O.V]
Love. We think about it, sing about it, dream about it, lose sleep worrying about it. When we don’t have it, we search for it. When we discover it, we don’t know what to do with it. It’s a constant source of pleasure and pain, but we cant predict from one minute to the next which it’s going to be today. It takes on may shapes and many disguises. Love, it’s a short word, easy to spell, difficult to define, impossible to live without.
So what is my love between her and me? I had her but I never has her heart. I discovered love, but love never find me.
I saw her talking to Nic and I saw she cry for him. We’ve married for 3 years already and she still didn’t forget him yet. Is it my fault that she didn’t love me? I don’t blame her for still remembering Nic. She promised me that she will stay with me. But she never say anything about she will love me. What can I do now? There’s nothing else I can do beside looking at her crying for another guy.
Funny isn’t it? I thought that time will pull us together. I thought time will prove my love to her and she will accept me. We have our first kid and also our marriage, but she still thinking about him.
I remembered on our wedding day, when the priest asked her, “Do you agree to be Edison Chen’s wife and live with him forever. And even there’s a hard time in his life, you will be by his side and support him. You guys will be together to pass through the obstacles of life as well as enjoying the joy and happiness together.” She hesitated.
I guessed that we not meant to be together. If she say that she want to leave me, I wouldn’t stop her. Because I know that if she living with me unhappily, then why don’t let her fly away?
I walked away. I was disappointed in myself and I don’t know what to say. I don’t know will our love change when she meet him again.

She want to tell him that she’s really sorry, but the words just don’t come out right. She just standing right there looking at him as he walk away.
She walk out of the disco bar. The wind is calm and blow away her soft hair. It had been 5 years since she know them. In 5 years, all the things happened to them which separate their friendship.
Walking down the dark street, she suddenly feel lonely. She remembered at this time 5 years ago, she was at AngelLight 603 in his car and being his passenger. The time passed by so fast like a blink of the eyes. The time makes a person changed into a new different person. She grow more mature and understand life. She’s not a girl who do what she want to do in the past. Now, she think twice before she do or say something. She want to be her old self again, but the reality doesn’t let her do that.
“Gillian, get in the car hun.” A familiar voice behind shouted. She turned around and is Ekin, her step father.
She slowly walked into the car.
“Hi dad, what are you doing here?” She questioned curiously as she put on her seat belt.
“Well, I had a drink with my friend around here. What’s wrong with you and Edison? When I was driving, I saw him walking the other way and I saw you walking this way. Did you guys fight?” Ekin asked.
She didn’t answer. She just smile at him. Looking at her, he feel sad. He immediately stopped the car and turned to her. “Gillian, can we have a talk?” He walked down the car and entered the park. She followed him.
The park was silence and the light was dim. The cold wind blew hardly which makes the dry leaves on the tree fall down as they passed by. They settled under a big tree.
The stars on the sky is bright shining on top of their head. He take a seat in a bench and she did the same thing.
“Gillian, I’ve been thinking about telling you this long time ago. But I never have the courage to tell you. But today, when I see you sad, I can’t hold myself but just have to let you know the truth. I know that you are sad not because of my reason, but I have to let you know who’s the guy that used your parents as the shield 22 years ago.” Ekin stated. Gillian turned around looking at him. She was confused.
“How do you know about my parents die?” She asked him confusingly.
“Gillian, do you remember 22 years ago? I was the guy who used your parents. I’m the guy that physically push your parents into the bloody war.” He whispered softly. “I don’t know why I’m telling you this, because I planned to keep it for the rest of my life. But today, since I saw you sad. The way your eyes look like your mom’s eyes when she passed away.”
“Wahh…. Wahh….What did you just said” She stuttered. She was lost.
“I’m sorry.” He said, “You’ll never know how sorry I am. I will do anything to ” He hold her hand regretfully.
[EDISON’S P.O.V.]
I saw my dad holding Gillian’s hand and she didn’t resist. What is she thinking? And what is my dad thinking? Don’t tell me he want to woo my wife! My god, he jacked my girlfriends in the past and now he want to steal my wife. Is he nuts? What the fuck is wrong with him. And what the fuck is wrong with Gillian. She shouldn’t let anybody touching her beside me, her husband!

Hey, tomorrow is Nicholas’s birthday. Anyway, we are leading to our plot now. Edison misunderstood that Gillian like his dad and he will hate her.
