She flinches at the foot of my bed. "You were injured, Changmin ..."
"But I can still walk, can't I ?"
Jaejoong and ______ glances at each other. I fold up my arms and sulk. Both of them are clutching a brown paper bag each, probably containing their clothes for the wedding.
I swear, my injuries are PFF. I'm perfectly fine and I don't see why _____ has to choose Jaejoong.
"Changmin," _____ walks up to me, until finally, she's sitting on the bed beside me. "Mianhe, okay ? I just thought-"
I don't let her finish her sentence.
I rarely do.
Instead, I pull her in and hug her.
"It's alright, I forgive you. But you owe me a favour," I whisper into her ear.
Jaejoong steps up and pull us both apart.
Wha- ?
______, on the other hand, is grinning.
"I'll do anything you want," she tells me.
"Okay, I want you to hear me sing," I tell her.
Jaejoong heaves a sigh. "Well, I'm going to leave you two alone."
"Bye, hyung," I smile at him as he walks out of the bedroom. Then, I turn to Changmin. "But I hear you sing all the time. Not to mention crying ..."
He ignores the last part. "But I just want you to hear me sing. When I sing, I usually sing to myself but now, I'm going to sing for you and I want you to hear it."
She stares at me quietly.
"And I'm not going to cry if I think it's bad this time," I hastily add in as she continues looking doubtful.
Then, she talks. "So, what are you going to sing ?"
"It's simple. I'm just going to sing the chorus of Wasurenaide."
"Oooh, I love that song !"
Of course you do ... Jaejoong wrote it.
I sit up on my bed, look at her and get ready to sing.
"Kaze ni natte sotto tsutsumitai ..."
"Kimi ga iru sekai ni sugu tonde yukitai ..."
"Aitakute mo, aitakute mo ..."
"Matteru kara tada, wasurenaide ..."
I close my mouth and open my eyes to see her reaction. She's looking at me.
"That ... Was awesome, hyung !" She slowly says. Before I can thank her, she wraps her arms around my neck.
"Thank you, hyung," her breath tickles my ear.
For a moment, I can't say anything. I just want to seal this memory forever in my mind.
After a while, she pulls back and kisses me on the cheek.
"I don't care what anyone say, Changmin, to me, your singing is the best," she grins wickedly and lowers down her voice. "Maybe even better than the rest."
She stands up. "Okay, I have to go. I'm hungry and I haven't eaten lunch yet."
"Alright but before you go, give me my chocolates in case Yoochun decides to eat them all," I point at the white plastic bag sticking out of the big brown one.
She laughs, takes the white bag out of the brown one and hand it to me.
"Whoo !" I cheer.
She ruffles my hair and walks out of the room.
I never thought a 17 year old girl could make me this happy.
[Your POV]
For what seemed like only a MINUTE, the wedding day has finally arrived.
I am now up in my room, pacing up and down, wringing my hands and wearing the yellow bridesmaid dress. Jaejoong asked me to wait for him here so we can go down together. The rest are already at the church.
I overslept.
Shush.
This is it. My father's wedding. He's going to be married to a stupid- I mean, lucky- woman.
Maybe it's not too late to stop it. You know, when the priest asks who objects, maybe I can raise up my hand.
I shake my head at that thought.
That would be nice to do but I can't. My father will be humiliated in front of the celebrities and his name will be ruined.
Only because I raised up my hand.
I hear my bedroom door being open and Jaejoong steps is, looking immensely FINE in that tuxedo we chose 3 days ago.
My heart, which was already thumping fast, thumps even faster. I'm already nervous here, why does Jaejoong makes me even more nervous ?
"You ready ?" He gives me an encouraging smile.
"No ... I mean, yes. Sure. ARGH !" I shout the last word.
Jaejoong hugs me for while before taking my hand. "Let's go. The wedding is going to start soon."
"Can I miss this one out ? Like, you tell them that I'm sick and-" I nervously splutter as we carefully walk down the stairs.
But before I can finish, Jaejoong pushes my head up and kiss me right on the lips.
My eyes widen. And I don't know what to do except ...
To kiss back.
Why am I doing this ? A month ago, I couldn't stand boys but now, I'm kissing one. And this isn't just ANY boy. This is Jaejoong. Member of the famous band, TVXQ. The one who girls want.
And I'm kissing him.
After maybe about 5 minutes, he pulls back. He's blushing.
I don't mind, actually, if that's what he thinks but I decide to play with him.
"Why'd you do that for ?" I pretend to gape at him.
"Um ... Sorry, I didn't know what came over me ... I just ... You look ... Um," he looks down to the ground.
Okay, enough fun.
I laugh and grab his hand. "Come on, lover boy, let's go to the wedding."
"You mean, you don't mind me kissing you ?" Jaejoong looks at me as we walk out of the house, towards the car.
"Possibly," I grin. "I have to think about it."

I can't sleep and I don't know why.
So now, I'm tired and confused.
