"I looks silly in this stupid dress," I grumble as I pull on the horrible excuse for a clothing.
Jaejoong grabs my hand. "You look fine. In fact, you are the most beautiful girl in the whole church right now."
I peer inside the big, mahogany doors. "There's BoA inside !"
"You're much more prettier. Now get ready, we're next."
I take seriously deep breath, but that doesn't help. Jaejoong, who looks seriously NOT nervous at all, links his arms to mine and starts walking.
Erm.
Okay, here we go.
The doors open completely as me and my escort steps inside. I gape at how gorgeous everything is. The sides of the benches are sprayed with white lilies. The aisle is covered with a red soft carpet and soft wedding-y music is playing.
In almost every seat, celebrities are seating on them. The special few are for my relatives. My aunt, my uncles, cousins, etc.
I hear some girls on the middle row whispers as we walk past. "Why is SHE with Jae oppa ?"
I grit my teeth.
Once we've reached the altar, I unlink my arm from Jaejoong's and walk to where the other bridesmaids are.
A few of my cousins are there. Good thing there are no celebrities.
"______ ?! You're wearing a dress ?" My cousin beside me, whispers.
"You don't expect me to wear my usual clothes, do you ?" I hiss back, hoping that out conversation is inconspicuous.
"No. But you look ... Different."
"Bad different ?"
"Nope. GOOD different."
I stretch my lips into a smile and opposite me, Changmin, Yoochun, Junsu, Yunho and Jaejoong smiles back, even though this smile isn't for them.
Idiots.
They're all there because my male cousins are all too young.
I scan the whole church and notice that almost every girl inside is staring at those boys.
Whom, I must say, is looking very very charming in tuxedos. Maybe they should wear those clothes more.
Maybe I can force them to.
The music grows louder as the bride slowly sashays towards the altar.
I look at my father, who's grin is so wide that it's scary.
I sigh. I have to accept this.
I just have to.
Once the groom and bride are all ready, they step up to the altar and the fat priest starts talking.
"If anyone objects this ceremony, speak up now so that you may- blah blah blah ..."
My hands, who are beside me, twitches.
No, don't raise it up.
For about 30 whole minutes, the priest rambles on and on and on and on. I spend my time going over how Changmin sings Wasurenaide for me.
His eyes were closed, he was really into the moment.
"You may now kiss the bride."
I open my eyes, long enough to see my father kissing the woman, that is not my mother.
I feel like crying.
But I won't.
A soft breeze hits me on the face and the next moment, the guys are beside me. All my bridesmaid cousins stare at me. And them.
But mostly them.
"Are you okay ?"
"Your eyes we closed the whole time."
"You didn't tell me you picked Jaejoong !"
I hold my hand to stop them from talking at once. "I'm fine. Now let's just go to the reception. I'm starving."
"I hear you," Changmin takes my hand and together, we all walk out of the church.
(8 hours later)
[Yunho's POV]
Where is _______ ?
[Changmin's POV]
URGH, these fans won't leave us alone.
(5 hours earlier)
[Your POV]
I look at them.
They're far away from me, surrounded by girls, celebrities and non-celebrities.
Not once have they came over to talk to me.
I lean on the tree, not caring whether I'm spoiling my dress or not.
The reception, it turns out, happens to be in our house. On our garden, to be exact. I missed this place and everything is still the same. Except half of the people on the yard are strangers to me.
I glance at them again. They are laughing.
Maybe I should go over.
Hitching up my dress, I stand up and walk over to them. "Uh, guys ... ?"
Jaejoong has his arm around BoA's waist.
I try not to look but they're right in front of me.
I am right in front of them.
"Guys ?" I step forward and my leg got caught on the hem of my dress. I trip.
The girls laugh and when I look up, I see the guys laughing too.
I glare at them before stalking off, back to the tree.
They are famous people, _______. Let them have fun. They already have enough of you at their home.
So what if they laughed ? They're probably drunk.
Then again, I remember my father's strict policy against strong alcohols. Those guys can't possibly be drunk.
I lean against the tree for another hour, all by myself, with nothing to do.
My father and the woman are sitting on a raised ledge and I know I should be there too.
Everyone is happy.
Everyone but me.
I stand up again, not wanting to cry. With a furtive sigh, I head on towards the gates, where the driver is waiting.
I slide into the backseat and tell the driver to drive me home.
This party is over.
