"Out. I need to buy something," I continue walking down, towards the front door and hoping that he won't ask-
"What are you gonna buy ?" He follows me.
"Um ... Girl stuff." MAN ...
"What girl stuff ?"
I walk out of the house. "Sanitary pads." It's already dark outside.
I hear his footsteps stopping. Mentally, I smirk. Even though my back is facing him, I know he's actually blushing right now. Serves him right for asking.
I wave. "Tell the rest where I'm going. Bye, Jaejoong hyung !"
Still smirking, I slide into the chauffeured car.
"The mall, please," I tell the driver.
I promised Changmin that I will buy a box of his favourite chocolates for him. As for Yoochun hyung, he wants me to buy the same thing for him. Only, I'm not supposed to tell Changmin.
Aish. Boys. They are so unpredictable.
For 10 minutes, we drive in silence.
The car, after a while, shudders to a halt in front of a mall. I open the back door and goes in front to tell the driver to wait for me because this won't take long.
The driver nods.
Once that is settled, clutching my purse, I walk into the mall.
First, I have to find a choco-
Oh, there it is.
Swiftly, I move towards it, go in and buy two boxes of Changmin's favourite chocolates. The shopkeeper must think I'm loony to buy so many.
It's only 2 boxes, pabo. Stop looking at me like that.
He hands me a receipt and with gritted teeth, I take it and shuffle out of the stupid shop.
I stop in front of the shop and scan the mall to find a pharmacy to buy my ... Girl things.
I find one and hurriedly, I scurry to it.
The mall is going to close soon.
Slightly panicking, I pass by a restaurant. And what I see makes me stop.
Inside the restaurant, just by the window, is my father. But he's not alone. A woman is with him.
I stand there and watch.
Maybe they're discussing about the business or something. Maybe she's his assistant.
I watch as my father smiles, takes the woman's hand and kisses it.
I put my hand over my mouth to cover up my gasps.
No ... My father couldn't have found another woman. It's ... It's ... Evil.
My eyesight grows blurry as I continue watching them.
They are definitely not talking about business.
Unable to take it anymore, I drop the boxes of chocolate and run out of the mall. I reach the car, open the backseat and slide inside.
"To the club. NOW," I tell the driver.
"But, Miss-" The driver nervously glances at me.
"Just go !"
The car starts cruising along the road.
For the next 5 minutes, I say nothing. I don't know what to do or think.
My father is planning to replace my mother.
Doesn't he love her ? Why is he doing this ?
Impatiently, I brush away the tears forming in my eyes.
This is not the right time to cry.
The car stops in front of the club. I go out of the car and tell the driver to go home.
Reluctantly, the driver drives off.
Taking a deep breath, I walk up to the bouncers, tell them that I'm 18 and walk in the club.
Music blasts from unseen speakers. The volume is probably turned on to the max but I don't care. I can't hear anything. My heart is thumping too loud.
Oh come on, ______, you've been here before, an impatient voice inside my mind tells me.
But not alone, another voice, this time with a hint of anxiousness, argues.
Ignoring them both, I walk up to the bar and order a glass of vodka. The bartender peers suspiciously at me but almost immediately, he shrugs and hands me a small glass containing some white stuff.
I can feel tears forming in my eyes again so quickly, I gulp down the alcohol and order another one.
For the next 15 minutes, I sit down by the bar, drinking A LOT of vodka, not caring if I'm drunk or not.
[Jaejoong's POV]
"WHAT ?!" I shout.
The driver looks down. "She went into the club, Sir, and then she told me to go home."
I punch the wall beside me.
"Which club ?!" I ask the driver.
The driver tells me the name of the club. Turns out it's the same as the one we went to during Changmin's birthday.
Without hesitation, I run outside of the house, towards the car.
Not waiting for the driver, I slide into the driver's seat and drives off as fast as I can.
I don't even care if I'm speeding. All I can think about is ______.
After 20 minutes, I arrive at the club. The bouncer, recognising me as one of the members of TVXQ, lets me in without a word.
I step into the club and immediately, girls flock around me.
"Go away," I growl at them and they back off.
I'm usually very nice to my fans but this is not the time for autograph signing.
I crane my neck and scan the whole club for ______.
It's so crowded, God dammit.
I push through the crowd of dancing people.
There she is. Slumped on the bar counter.
I run towards her.
"________ !"
She seems unconscious. I glance at the numerous empty glasses surrounding her.
She drank a lot.
She's pretty strong for a 17 year old.
I pull her up and wrap her arm around my shoulders. "Come on, we're going."
I throw a bundle of money to the bartender, asking him to keep the change, and walk out of the bar.
"Nooooo ... I'm not done. Let me die," she mumbles as I place her on the backseat.
"Never," I tell her, before going in the car.
I look behind to check if she's okay before driving off.
_____ groans, continuously shifting on the seat. Her head lolls to one side and her eyes completely closes.
I sigh, before facing the road again.
Sometimes, it's hard being the oldest.
Quietly, I screech to a stop in front of our mansion. I go out the car and walk to the back to take out ______ from the back seat.
She groans, yet again. She can't walk.
Aish.
I heave her up and carry her, bridal style, up to the house. As we step in, the others immediately crowd around me.
"Hyung, what happened ?"
"Is she okay ?"
"Where did she go ?!"
They're speaking too fast. I hold up an arm to quiet them down.
"She had a long day. Let me take her up to her room and we'll talk about this in the morning, when she's awake. Right now, all of you go to bed," I tell them.
Reluctantly, they sigh and agree.
All of us, me carrying _____, walks up the stairs.
It had been a long night.
