“It was good MeiMei, thanks for asking. How was yours? Fine I suppose?”
“Hehe, it was great! I missed your ass you know!” MeiMei hugged him tightly. Aaron stumbled backwards and opened a little annoying gasp. His arms weren’t around her but it stilled by his side like it wasn’t working.
“Are you crazy Mei? You know Aaron don’t like being hugged.” Chun said annoyed. She didn’t really hear Chun. “MeiMei!?! Do you hear me!?” Chun cupped his hands over his mouth. “I said! Aaron doesn’t like being hugged! Now get off of him!” MeiMei laughed and released Aaron to go hug Chun.
“Aww, poor Chun, you must miss me too!” Chun sighed a bit and his cheeks went pink. Aaron smiled and shook his head. She released Chun and clapped her hands.
“We have so much to catch up on! You don’t even begin to know! I had an ama--”
“MeiMei!!” a panting voice cried. MeiMei turned around to greet the girl with a hug. “MeiMei, why didn’t you wait for me? I looked inside my bag for a sec, and I saw you running forward for no apparent reasons. Boy... never knew you could run so fast.”
MeiMei giggled. “Oh Xiao Xun! I’m sorry. Didn’t you see Aaron and Chun!? That’s why I came over here.” MeiMei smiled and looked at Aaron and Chun.
Everyone stood still for long several seconds.
Xiao Xun laughed. “No…I didn’t see them, but now I do.” Xiao Xun looked at Aaron and smiled heavenly.“Hello Aaron, how have you been?”
“I’m good. How about you?”
Xiao Xun walked a bit closer. “I’m great hehe.” Aaron step back a bit. Chun scratched his head.
“So…umm…” Aaron said scratching his head too. MeiMei and Xiao Xun looked at him waiting for him to finish what he was going to say. Chun already knew so he said it without any hesitation.
“We should get to class?I hear you Aaron, let’s go.” Chun grabbed a hold of Aaron’s collar shirt and tugged him to start walking. MeiMei grabbed his elbow and asked. “Where are you going? We’re all going to the same class. Mr. Yen yes?”
“How’d you….” He said surprised. Then he remembered.“Oh…we always have the same classes together. Ever since freshman year in fact…pretty weird how that happens.”Chun teased.
“Just because my dad’s the principle doesn’t mean he changed them for me.” MeiMei said giving them a straight face. Then it became a smile. “Alright you caught me.”
Aaron and Chun laughed. “LETS GO!” MeiMei said excitedly. “This is the year we won’t ever forget!”
