Raymond slammed the phone down angrily. Everyone florist he called, had the same answer. “We’re sorry, this is not the season for forget me nots.” Then there was also guilt of thinking about Myolie that made him hated himself.

The door knocked and Raymond answered it gruffly. Hoi Yee walked in and sat down in front of Raymond. “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing…” Raymond said.

“Here, have some tea, it’ll make you feel better.” Hoi Yee told him as she hand him a white mug with a tint of purple.

Raymond gave her a soft smile and sipped the tea. It had a lavender taste to it. Hoi Yee watched Raymond intently as he sipped the tea. A slow wicked smile formed on her lips.

“Thanks…”

Hoi Yee smiled. “It’s no problem. I mean, I don’t want to be under a moody trainer right?”

Raymond chuckled and nodded.

“What’s wrong?” Hoi Yee asked.

“Nothing…just no florist sell forget me nots at this time of the year…” Raymond.

“That’s it?” Hoi Yee asked raising her eyebrows. “It seems to me there is more to it.”

Raymond looked at Hoi Yee. “Can’t hide anything from the miracle worker can I?” Raymond chuckled.

“What’s wrong?” Hoi Yee asked.

“I really don’t know…Tell me if it is wrong to think about another person?” Raymond asked.

“I’ve heard about your girlfriend who was deceased…” Hoi Yee said slowly. “Who are you thinking about?” Hoi Yee asked.

“This girl…” Raymond began.

“Myolie?” Hoi Yee asked before she could stop herself.

Raymond looked surprised. “How do you know about Myolie?”

“I’ve heard Bosco talk about her before…” Hoi Yee lied. Hoi Yee felt her mind racing, she must turn him away from Myolie.

“I think it’s wrong.” Hoi Yee told Raymond simply.

Raymond looked at Hoi Yee. “Even you think so too…”

“I mean your previous girlfriend is not even dead for a year, you know what I mean?” Hoi Yee asked as she felt her heart beat. No matter what she must make Raymond turn away from Myolie or else her plans would be ruined.

Raymond nodded slowly. “You’re right.” Raymond said.

Hoi Yee smiled to herself. She will ruin Raymond and Bosco, no matter what. “Well, back to the flowers, I think you should get Qian something else. It’s the thoughts that count remember?” Hoi Yee asked.

Raymond nodded. It was quite logical. “Thanks.”

Hoi Yee smiled and left Raymond’s office closing the door behind her. Now with Raymond swayed, it was time to manipulate Bosco.

It was almost dusk by the time Raymond left the hospital. He stopped by the flower shop to buy a bouquet of mix flowers before heading to the cemetery. The sky looked dark and red, a sign that there might be rain fall.

After parking his car a block around the cemetery Raymond made his way to Qian’s grave. He stopped ten feet away when he saw something that caught his eyes. Qian’s grave was decorated with forget me nots all around and in front of it was Myolie paying her respects.

Raymond walked up, slowly and quietly until he was standing only a few feet behind Myolie. He realized she was talking to Qian.

Myolie felt a presence of another person and turned to see Raymond standing behind her.

“I-I know you were looking for the forget me nots…and it’s not the season…” Myolie began.

Raymond went and felt the forget me nots, they were real and full of life.

“Where did you get them?” Raymond asked.

“I went around looking…I was lucky…there was one flower shop who imported some from outside of the country…” Myolie lied. In truth she had created the flowers earlier in the afternoon.

Raymond turned and looked at Myolie, then smiled. “Thank you…”

“Qian, let me introduce…” Raymond began.

“We met, I’ve introduced myself earlier…I’m sorry for being so bold…” Myolie said as she stepping up next to Raymond.

Raymond shook his head as he placed his bouquet of flowers in front of Qian’s grave. “I should apologize. For last night I mean. I wasn’t myself…”

Myolie shook her head. “I understand, everyone has their mood swings.”

She stood behind Raymond as he talked to Qian, once in a while joining in. A roar of thunder told them it was time to go.

“Well, I’ll come back to see you soon.” Raymond told Qian. He touched her grave. Myolie bid her farewell and the two made their way to the exit of the cemetery. Unfortunately, it began to pour. The two were soaked before they could reach the end of the cemetery. The thunder roared again, this time it was followed by a howl.

“What’s that sound?” Myolie asked.

“Don’t tell me it’s a ghost.” Raymond said as they stopped on their tracks.

Myolie rolled her eyes. Humans, she groaned, they are so ignorant! Running towards the bushes that separated the cemetery and the area, Myolie found the howling.

Raymond followed Myolie to the bushy area to find a puppy howling. Apparently it was stuck between a thicket. Depite the rain, Myolie bent down to release the little thing realizing it was wounded.

“It’s hurt!” Myolie exclaimed as she lifted the puppy up in her arms.

“Let’s get home first, I have some first aid things.” Raymond told her. Clutching the puppy in her arms Myolie and Raymond stumbled out of the cemetery and made their way home.

Once the two got back to Raymond’s place, Raymond went to get the first aid kit, while Myolie made sure the puppy was comfortable. She felt very sympathetic for the thing. She wanted to heal it, but with Raymond’s presence, she couldn’t.

The poor little thing whimpered as Myolie stroked its head. “Shh, it’s okay…” The little puppy had a long gash running from the back to its left hind leg. Fortunately the bleeding had stopped.

Raymond returned with a tin box and a towel for Myolie. Then he began to tend the little thing. Myolie stroked its furry head and soothed it. “We should get it to a vet tomorrow…it should be fine now…” Raymond said as he finished bandaging the puppy. The little dog had drifted off to sleep snoozing softly on the living room floor.

Raymond felt a shiver go through him and he let out a sneeze. Myolie took the towel he got and handed it to him.

“You should go take a hot shower and then change.” Myolie told him. She was also soaking wet too.

Raymond looked up staring into Myolie’s warm brown eyes. He felt his breath shorten as he stared locked in her gaze. He had never felt this way ever since Qian.
Myolie’s heart was beating loudly. She realized she and Raymond were only inches apart. Silence floated through the whole house with the exception of the storm.

Myolie couldn’t help but stare back at Raymond. Water was dripping down his hair to his handsome tan face.
No! Myolie told herself. I cannot fall in love with a human! Most importantly not Raymond Lam!

Unfortunately for the two of them, their hearts wouldn’t listen to their mind. Within a few seconds their lips met in a soft kiss in the midst of the raging storm.
