Everyone gasped and turned to see a man standing at the doorway. Leila looked up to realize it was the man Nancy had dated before. Didn’t he leave Hong Kong already?

“Jack!” Nancy exclaimed.

“Who are you?” Bosco asked.

“What’s going on?” Liza exclaimed standing up.

“Nancy, think about it again.” Jack said as he walked towards the bride.

Bosco looked at Jack and then at Nancy. “Who is he Nancy?”

Nancy stared down at the floor and fidgeted with her bouquet of flowers.

“Are you sure this is what you want? To be with this doctor? You’re just going to leave me like this? After what we went through these two years?” Jack exclaimed giving Nancy a hard stare.

“Two years?” Bosco whispered. It began to sink in. Although he didn’t want to believe it, he realized that there was another man in Nancy’s life.

“Nancy…” Jack began as he reached for her. Nancy turned to Bosco and looked at him with fear in her eyes.

“Bosco…I can explain.” Nancy began.

Bosco let out a disbelief chuckle.

“Nancy are you sure? We can leave for the States if you reconsider…” Jack said reaching out for Nancy, who in turn reached for Bosco.

Bosco shrugged her off.

“You two don’t have to leave…I’ll leave.” Bosco said coldly as he turned from the altar.

“No!” Nancy exclaimed as she reached to grab Bosco’s arm. Bosco looked at her coldly and shrugged her off.

“I was so wrong about you…” He told her emotionlessly. With that he turned and walked down the aisle away from the altar. The guest watched quietly as the wedding broke apart.

Nancy attempted to chase after Bosco, but Jack pulled her back along with Liza.

“I’ll go after him.” Leila told Myolie. Myolie nodded as Leila ran down the aisle after Bosco and out of the chapel.

Raymond and Myolie looked at each other, both were lost at words.

Leila chased after Bosco who walked in an angry quick pace.

“Bosco Wong! Stay where you are!” Leila shouted. People were giving them weird looks especially since they were dressed formally.

Bosco ignored Leila and continued walking. Leila breathlessly jogged to catch up with him.

“Can’t you leave me alone?” Bosco asked irritably. “I know I should have believed it. I’m sorry.”

“No one’s blaming you…it was my fault…I should have told you again…” Leila said.

Bosco continued to walk ignoring her.

“Where are you going?” Leila asked as she tried to catch up with him.

“To die.” Bosco muttered.

“Jesus Christ! She’s not worth it!” Leila said thinking what he said was true.

“I was being sarcastic. Look, I’m a grown man. I can’t take care of myself! I just need time and peace. Please.” Bosco said shrugging her off.

Bosco crossed the street in the middle of the large boulevard leaving Leila behind. Feeling undefeated, Leila ran after him not noticing a car coming down the curb.

Suddenly a loud screech and shrill shriek caused Bosco to halt. Bosco turned to see Leila on the floor and a SUV less than an inch away from her.

“Leila!” Bosco exclaimed rushing to her. People surrounded the scene as the driver got out.

“I’m fine…” Leila said.

“I’m very sorry…” The driver said.

“I’m fine…it was my fault…I came out in the middle of the street.” Leila assured the driver.

After realizing that nothing big happened, the crowd died down as the driver pulled away leaving Leila and Bosco alone in the streets.

“Are you alright?” Bosco asked worriedly. Leila looked at him sarcastically. “I thought u wanted peace and quite time to think. Leave now before I let your chance slip.”

“I’m sorry…I don’t mean it that way…” Bosco said quietly. Leila sighed, she tried to get up and fell back down and winced as pain shot through her left ankle.

“I think you sprained your ankle.” Bosco said as he took a look at her left foot. He turned around and bent infront of Leila.

“Hop on.”

“What?” Leila exclaimed.

“You don’t expect to walk home in this condition right?” Bosco asked offering her a piggy back ride.

“I’m fine.” Leila denied. She tried to get up, but her foot was throbbing in pain.

“No need to deny.” Bosco told her.

“Come on.” Bosco exclaimed. Leila blushing furiously, got on Bosco’s back and twined her arms around his neck as he carried her on his back home.
