“I still cannot believe. We flew all the way here to see this mess!” Liza exclaimed.

“Honey, think of it as a good thing. Wouldn’t it be worst if Bosco finds out after they get married?” Sek Sau reasoned with his wife.

“Mom, dad…I’m not even bothered by it, you two shouldn’t.” Bosco told his parents as he set the rest of the luggage on the living room floor.

“Let’s get going, we don’t want to keep Leila, Raymond and Myolie waiting.” Sek Sau said getting up from the couch.

Liza sighed and got up. “I still can’t believe Nancy would do that.” Liza muttered as the three left Bosco’s apartment.

Two weeks had past since the whole wedding event. Nancy had tried to see him right after what happened, but Bosco refused to see her. News reached and spread through out the hospital and by the end of the week Nancy resigned.

According to her friends, she left with Jack to the States.

Down stairs, Raymond, Myolie and Leila were waiting for the three in the minivan.

“It’s so sweet of you guys to escort us to the airport.” Liza said as the three climbed into the car.

“No problem aunty. You’ve treated me to a lot of ice cream and cookies when I was a boy.” Raymond laughed as he drove the car from Bosco’s place.

“How is your foot Leila?” Liza asked Leila.

“Oh, it’s fine aunty.” Leila told Liza cheerfully.

The ride to the airport was filled with pleasant chattering. The airport as usual was crowded with people.

“I am still worried about you.” Liza told her son as they reached the terminal.

“Mom! I’m a grown man.” Bosco told his mother.

“Son, you will always be a kid in our eyes.” Sek Sau teased.

Everyone laughed.

Liza gave Raymond a hug and then Myolie. “I’m so glad you helped Raymond moved on. It was a pleasure meeting you.”

“Same to you.” Myolie told Liza as they let go.

Liza then gave Leila a hug. Over the past two weeks, she had grown to like Leila more and more.

“I’m going to miss having you around. And I’m sure Bosco would too after you move back to the dorm.” Liza told Leila.

“Same here.” Leila told Liza.

Before she would enter the Gates, Liza walked with Bosco to the end of the terminal.

“Just so you know…Leila is a pretty nice girl…” Liza told Bosco. “Don’t let chances slip.”

“Mom!” Bosco exclaimed as Liza winked at him. But then her words did trigger something in Bosco’s mind.

“Well, we have to get goings guys!” Liza called. Along with Sek Sau the two disappeared within the gates.

After a few moment, the four left the airport.

“We have a day to kill!” Bosco said as they made their way to the parking lot. They were off today.

“Any good suggestions?” Raymond asked. Bosco thought for a moment and then a gleam appeared in his eyes.

Raymond threw Bosco the car keys. “Here take charge.” After the four climbed into the minivan Bosco drove off. Some moments later he pulled up to a familiar looking place.

“Where are we going?” Leila asked as she got out of the car.

“You’ll, see.” Bosco told her as the four made their way towards the route and near the water. Raymond suddenly tensed up as small white boats came into his vision.

“What’s wrong?” Myolie asked turning to Raymond.

“Nothing…just memories of the storm…” Raymond told her in a soft voice. Myolie gave him an encouraging smile and squeezed his hands.

“Don’t worry, nothing will happen. Remember, Myolie and I are angels.” Leila assured Raymond giving him a positive nodd.

Bosco snorted at Leila’s comment.

“Excuse me?” Leila asked him.

“I trust Myolie as an angel…but you?” Bosco said doubtfully as Leila chased him down the harbor.

“Come on…it’ll be fine.” Myolie told Raymond. Raymond smiled at her and the two walked down the harbor hand in hand.

“This is awesome!” Leila shouted as the sailboat sailed out into the waters.

Raymond began to relax under the sunny day as the boat moved further out from land.

“Food’s ready!” Bosco called. They were having a small barbeque on the deck of the boat.

“Don’t tell me you planned this ahead of time.” Raymond said as he told a hold of a chicken wing.

“Not really… It was actually for Nan-” Bosco stopped.

“Well, let’s not talk about unhappy things. The stuff is delicious! I didn’t know you’re such a good cook.” Myolie said cheerfully.

Bosco beamed.

“Don’t look so proud, my sister’s being nice.” Leila told Bosco. Bosco rolled his eyes at Leila and thunk a beef kabob on her plate.

“Here stuff your mouth.” Bosco laughed as Leila glared at him.

After almost an hour of cheerful luncheon, Raymond got up and went to the rail. Far away was a small isolated island.

“Anyone interested in rafting to the island over there?” Raymond announced.

“Me!” Myolie exclaimed jumping up, while Leila and Bosco groaned.

“What’s wrong?” Myolie asked the two.

“I’m too full you two go on.” Bosco told them.

“And what’s your excuse Leila?” Raymond teased her.

“Tired.” Leila yawned as she laid down on her back with her eyes closed.

“Suit yourself.” Raymond said. He took the inflatable raft and in no time he and Myolie were sailing for the tiny island.

“Leila and Bosco really don’t know what they’re missing!” Myolie laughed as the wind blew against her face.

Raymond chuckled along with her. “This really was a good idea I guess.” Raymond said as they neared the island. It was a plain sandy beach with a few trees and rocks, but it had a gorgeous and relaxing feeling to it.

After they dock the raft on the sand, the two jumped onto the sandy ground.

“Wow this place is gorgeous!” Myolie exclaimed as she looked around the island.

“Yeah, Qian-” Raymond stopped.

“Used to come here with you right?” Myolie finished for him.

Raymond nodded. “Raymond?” Myolie spoke up after a moment.

“Yes?” Raymond asked.

“Have you ever hated me for breaking Qian’s orb?” Myolie asked.

“I have to admit I was devastated when Qian died. We had a very special past together. But as you said before, it’s the past. Qian wouldn’t want to see like this in heaven right? And to top it off you and Leila are angels…Who dares bear a grudge against an angel right?” Raymond asked in a light tone.

Myolie nodded. “I really tried to save her aura, but it slipped away quicker than yours and Bosco’s.” Myolie told him.

“I know. And I’m sure Qian knows too. Now stop blaming yourself.” Raymond told her.

“I wish I could bring her back.” Myolie sighed.

“Aren’t you afraid you’re going to have a rival then?” Raymond teased Myolie.

“What would you do if she really came back?” Myolie asked Raymond.

“I would see to her well being. Make sure she is doing well and become friends with her. It’s true I loved her once and she will always be in my heart. But you are the one.” Raymond told Myolie.

Myolie smiled softly as she felt a wave of emotions go through her.

“Touched?” Raymond asked her.

“Yeah right! You wish! I just got sand in my eye.” Myolie retorted jokingly.

“Come on! Let’s not waste time talking about depressing things!” Raymond said. He stood up from hand held out his hand to help Myolie up.

“Right!” Myolie said as she got up.

“There isn’t much on this island, but they have beautiful seashells.” Raymond told Myolie who was already running around looking for shells. Raymond chuckled and ran after her.

“Slow down!” Raymond exclaimed.

“You’re just slow!” Myolie laughed from afar.

“You’re going to get it!” Raymond threatened as he chased after her.

Raymond ran quickly catching up with Myolie who shrieked with surprise when he grabbed her by the waist. As a result the two fell onto the sand laughing.

“Oh look!” Myolie exclaimed as she picked up a round spiral shell. It glistened prettily against the sunlight.

“It’s so pretty.” Myolie sighed as she ran her fingers over the smooth surface. She had never seen anything like this in heaven/

Raymond looked at Myolie’s innocent and happy face. Some of her hair was smeared against her forehead. Reaching out Raymond gently brushed it back to place, surprising Myolie.

“Not as pretty as you.” Raymond told her.

Myolie blushed. “You and your sweet talks!”

“I mean it…” Raymond told her.

Myolie stopped and looked at Raymond and smiled. “Well, I’m an angel, aren’t angels stereotypically pretty anyway?” Myolie joked.

Raymond chuckled.

The two strolled through the warm sand picking up pretty shells once in a while.

“Oh yeah, I have to collect some shells for Bosco. He lives to make shell paintings.” Raymond spoke up after awhile.

“Shell paintings?” Myolie asked puzzled. She had no idea what that was.

“Yeah, they’re quite pretty too. I have one in my study.” Raymond told her.

“Well, lets get Bosco some shells then!” Myolie said as she picked up a handful of shells.

Raymond followed picking up a variety of shells he saw on the way. A shimmer caught his eye and he reach out to pick up the piece, only to draw his hand back in pain.

“Shoot!” Raymond muttered. The shell was broken and it cut him.

Myolie hurried back to Raymond dropping her shells on the ground. The cut on his finger wasn’t big, yet it wasn’t small either as blood spilled out.

Myolie took Raymond’s hand in hers and then a warm sensation spread through Raymond’s body. The next thing he knew, his hand was back to before. It had healed within a moment.

“All better.” Myolie told him brightly.

Raymond chuckled and shook his head. “Seriously you would cause huge controversy in the medical world if they knew you could you that.”

“Come on lets get more shells!” Myolie said.

“I have a better idea.” Raymond said.

“What?” Myolie asked.

“Let’s take off our shoes and go into the water. They have nicer shells underwater.” Raymond told her.

“Really? Okay!” Myolie said as she took her shoes and attempted to jump into the water, when Raymond held her back.

“I was just kidding!” Raymond.

Myolie threw him a glared, and before he knew it she splashed a handful of cool water at him.

“Hey, what was that for?!” Raymond protested as Myolie jumped into the shallow water.

“That is for making fun of an angel!” Myolie said smugly as Raymond shook a finger at her.

“You’re going to get it for splashing water at Raymond Lam!” Raymond told her. He took off his shoes and ran into the water. Myolie tried to run away from him, but the water made it hard for her.

Raymond caught her in his arms in no time and stared down at her playfully.

“You dare punish an angel?” Myolie asked Raymond.

“You bet. Being an angel won’t get you away with it this time.” Raymond joked.

Myolie tilt her head and looked at Raymond. “What’s my punishment then?” as Raymond leaned down and kissed her softly on the lips.

When he pulled away Myolie grinned. “So was that my punishment?”

“No, this is.” Raymond said cheekily as he tickled her, their laughter filling the sunny afternoon.

Leila woke up from her nap to see Bosco sitting on the deck next to the railing. A fishing pole in his hand.

A mischievous feeling creep through Leila and she snuck up quietly behind Bosco.

“BOO!” Leila shouted.

“AHH!” Bosco exclaimed. In a state of shock he let go of the fishing pole and it flew into the water.

“Ops!” Leila mumbled.

“Leila! What is your problem?” Bosco exclaimed.

“Sorry…” Leila said taking a seat next to Bosco.

“Not only did you scare away the fishes, but you have to make me lose my fishing pole.” Bosco complained.

“Fine, I’ll get it back for you!” Leila said. She got up and climbed over the railing, when Bosco grabbed her.

“What are you doing?” Bosco asked looking at her.

“Going into the water to get your fishing pole back.” Leila replied simply.

“Honestly, you are one of the most gullible thing I’ve ever met.” Bosco told her as he pulled her back into the boat.

“Well, how was I supposed to know how you ‘humans’ think?” Leila asked as she took a seat next to him again. Bosco reached over to a small trunk and opened it. He took out another fishing pole.

“Ah, so I see you have spare ones.” Leila said.

Leila realized that fishing pole he was using had Nancy’s name engraved on it.

Bosco noticed Leila looking at the engraving. “You might as well put it to use right?”

“You’re really okay? I mean you’re not just putting up an act for your family and friends?” Leila asked Bosco.

Bosco let out a chuckle. “Come on Leila, why would I do that? I have to admit that I was upset when I found out. I felt betrayed and humiliated…but then to tell you the truth I was actually glad that it happened...”

“Why?” Leila asked him.

Bosco turn and looked at Leila. Her seriousness couldn’t hide the innocent aura of her.

“Because of y-” Bosco stopped himself before he said the word ‘you’. She might not think the same and he didn’t want to ruin what they have between them now.

Leila couldn’t help but smile in her heart realizing Bosco meant her. “Because of what?” Leila asked prodding him.

“Nevermind…you wouldn’t understand.” Bosco told her. “I’m going to get a drink. Want anything?” Bosco asked her as he stood up.

Leila shook her head and watched in disappointment as he walked away.

“How can I understand if you don’t even tell me?” Leila muttered.

Another two weeks past since the outing and so far everything went well for everyone. There were no signs of Hoi Yee or anything evil.

Raymond started his car like every morning and droved off. His cell rang and he picked it up.

It was Bosco hurrying him. For once, Bosco actually beat him to the hospital. Probably thanks to Leila, Raymond thought.

“Yeah, I’m coming.” Raymond said over the phone.

He turned around the curb and drove at speed limit when suddenly a girl walked out in the middle of the street right in front of his car.

Raymond stepped hard onto the brake creating a loud screech. Parking the car quickly, Raymond jumped out to see a girl on the ground.

A crowd of people had surrounded them.

“Miss are you alright?” Raymond exclaimed as he bent down over the girl.

The girl turned around and Raymond choked on his breath.

“Qian!” Raymond exclaimed in shock. She looked exactly identical to Qian. The girl looked at him with fear in her eyes. Before he could stop her, she got up and ran off disappearing into the crowd.
