“Are you sure you’re not seeing things? Maybe they look similar” Bosco told his friend skeptically as they left the conference room.

“I’m positive they look identical.” Raymond assured Bosco.

“That’s weird…” Bosco murmured. “Are you going to tell Leila or Myolie? But then if it had to do with Hoi Yee, I’m sure they would know or ‘feel’ it already.”

“Yeah, that’s what I was thinking.” Raymond said.

“Anyway when are you going to finish the shell painting you promised Myolie?” Raymond asked.

“That….is a very good question…I’m working on it.” Bosco laughed.

“How are things going between you and Leila?” Raymond asked.

“What do you mean?” Bosco asked innocently.

“Nancy’s gone. I mean even a dumb person can tell there’s something going on between you two…” Raymond told his friend.

“It’s more like me. I don’t know how she feels…I think its better this way. I really don’t want to ruin what we have between us now.” Bosco told his friend.

Raymond was about to tell his friend that Leila felt the same way –according to Myolie, but the elevator to his department opened and Bosco stepped in.

“Later pal.” Bosco called. Raymond waved and walked the opposite direction.

“You saw a girl who looked exactly like Qian?” Myolie exclaimed. It was almost five. The sun was setting outside tinting the sky with a golden hue.

“Yeah…At first I thought I was seeing things, but I am positive the girl looks exactly like her. They even have the mole on their face.” Raymond told Myolie.

“Do you want to find her?” Myolie asked.

“I do…but don’t mistaken. I just want to get everything cleared out.” Raymond told Myolie.

“I understand…” Myolie said softly as she placed her hand on Raymond’s arm. “And we will find her. However, I don’t think she has to do with Hoi Yee, because if Hoi Yee returned, I’m sure Leila and I would know.”

Raymond pulled Myolie into his embrace. “Can you two manage? I mean if, god forbid she does return?”

“We’ll have to face her sooner or later…As long as she’s still out in the world, she is a danger to everyone especially to us. But I’m not afraid, I know together, you and I, Bosco and Leila, we will conquer her. Good always triumph over evil.” Myolie told Raymond.

The two embraced again.

“Speaking of Bosco and Leila…I spoke to him today. But he doesn’t feel confident enough to take the initiative.” Raymond told Myolie.

A smile played on Myolie’s lips. “Oh, I took care of that already…now we have to wait for the right timing…” She looked at the clock.

“Say…let’s pay them a visit.” Myolie said slyly.

“What did you do?” Raymond asked suspiciously.

“For me to know and you to find out.” Myolie winked as she led him to the door.

Leila stared at the shell paintings that Bosco worked on every night.

One was a picture of a sunrise and the other was a starry night. They were both unfinished though. Leila picked the one with the starry night up and looked at it.

The door clicked open and the painting slipped from her hand. It fell on the floor and three pieces of shells glued to the board came off.

“Leila Tong!” Bosco exclaimed.

“I’m sorry.” Leila exclaimed as she picked the things up. “I’ll help you glue it back.”

Bosco took of his jacket and dropped it on the couch as Leila took the rest of the shells and the two unfinished art to the coffee table.

Bosco watched her klutzy movements and smiled to himself.

“By the way, Raymond saw a girl who looked identical to Qian today.” Bosco said as he reached for the glue and pieces of shells.

“Really? That’s funny…well I don’t think she has to do with Hoi Yee since Myolie and I haven’t felt anything.” Leila noted.

“That’s what Ray told me.” Bosco said.

“Let me try.” Leila exclaimed as she watched in fascination as Bosco piece the shells together and formed another star.

“Here, you line the edge of the shell only.” Bosco said placing a shell in her hand. Their hands touched and Leila felt her cheeks blush.

Bosco helped her line the edge of the shell with crazy glue, suddenly the glue tipped and spilled. It ran down Leila and Bosco’s hand they were holding the shell.

To their surprise the glue dried faster than ever. They tried to pull away, but their hands were stuck. Leila’s right hand and Bosco’s left hand.

Leila tried to undo the glue, but it was no avail.

“What are we going to do? We can’t walk around like this, people will thinking we’re crazy…or worst dating!” Leila exclaimed.

Bosco raised his eyebrows, this girl seriously needs to sort out her priorities. He wanted to make a comment, but the doorbell interrupted his thoughts.

“Who would it be?” Leila asked. Bosco got up and went to the door with Leila stumbling behind.

“Raymond? Myolie?” Bosco exclaimed.

“Myolie!” Leila muttered. That was why she couldn’t undo the glue. Myolie somehow jinxed it.

Bosco opened the door and Leila step closer next to him to hide their glued hands.

“Hi! We brought dinner!” Myolie said brightly.

“And dessert.” Raymond added as they stepped in. “What’s wrong?”

“You two came at the worst timing…” Bosco muttered.

“What’s wrong?” Myolie asked peering around at them. Bosco and Leila tried to hide their ‘hands’ from her.

“Are you two dating?” Myolie asked as she spotted at the glued hands.

“Of course not! Seriously you two wouldn’t think that would you? That is the more far fetched thing I’ve ever heard!” Bosco laughed trying to hide his feelings.

Leila in turn felt hurt and was cursing her sister for setting up the glue trap.

If looks could kill, Myolie would probably be dead from her sister’s glare.
Myolie gave her sister a I was only trying to help look.

Leila respond by giving her a you are going to be so dead look.

Raymond looked at Bosco and Leila.

Myolie sighed and undid her little charm on the glue and Bosco and Leila’s hands became unattached.

“How did you do that?” Bosco exclaimed. “You need to learn from your sister!” Bosco told Leila.

“Fine then guess what? Have her be your guardian angel too! I quit!” Leila told him as she ran out the door.

“Go after her!” Raymond and Myolie both yelled at Bosco who stood there like an idiot.

“Right.” Bosco said as he ran out the door.

Bosco saw Leila jogging to the street and hurried to catch up with her.

“Wai! Wait up! What’s wrong with you?” Bosco asked.

Leila shrugged away. “You!”

“That was insulting.” Bosco told her.

“Fine if you don’t like me! You don’t have to dis me like that and make it seem as if dating me was the most farfetched thing on earth!” Leila yelled. “I admit it! I like you okay? I don’t know why, but I do. Don’t worry I’ll return to heaven and leave you alone once I finish my work.”

Leila opened her mouth to yell more things out when suddenly Bosco’s lips were on hers.

“I do like you, I wasn’t sure how you feel…I don’t want to ruin the relationship we have right now…” Bosco told her as he pulled away.

Leila stared at Bosco not believing what just happened.

“A-are you jesting me?” Leila exclaimed. She could feel her heart pounding.

Bosco stared down at Leila as he cupped her cheeks. He planted another kiss on Leila’s lips. That was his answer.
