It was almost eleven. Raymond and Myolie left half an hour ago.

Bosco sat on the coffee table in the living room working on the shell paintings with Leila leaning against him, her head on his shoulder.

A soft music played from the Hi-Fi speakers.

“Bosco?” Leila finally spoke up.

“Yeah?” Bosco replied.

“When did you realize…” Leila trailed off. It felt a little embarrassing asking him so straightforwardly.

“Realize what?” Bosco asked.

“Your feelings….” Leila mumbled. She was blushing, but curiosity won over.

“Since the day I found you unconscious on the highway. You looked so innocent and distant. But then of course I was blinded by Nancy to realize it.” Bosco told her.

“What about you? I thought you always want to finish your job asap so you can get away from me.” Bosco teased.

“Ironically it was Nancy who help me realized…She pointed it out.”

“I want the starry night one!” Leila announced suddenly.

“No one’s going to fight you for it.” Bosco told her.

“I’m just calling it out before anyone does.” Leila replied. She leaned herself against Bosco’s body and closed her eyes.

“If you’re tired you can go to bed, you don’t have to wait for me.” Bosco told her. Leila sat up and turned to him.

“Who said I was tired?” Leila asked. “Are you hungry? I’m hungry.”

“We just had dinner two hours ago with Raymond and Myolie.” Bosco reminded her.

“I’m hungry.” Leila said getting up and walking to the kitchen. She came back out with a bowl of ice cream.

“Aren’t you afraid of getting fat. Metabolism is extremely slow at this hour.” Bosco teased.

“I’m an angel, we don’t gain or lose weight.” Leila reminded him.

“Right, I almost forgot.” Bosco said.

Leila spoon a mouthful into her mouth. “Want some?” Leila asked nudging Bosco. She sat down next to him again and placed a spoonful against his mouth.

“Mum mum mum mum, come on.” Leila cooed. Bosco looked at Leila.

"Ah baby language. When did you learn that?" Bosco joked. Leila rolled her eyes.

"When I realized the human I was guarding was one." Leila responded.

Bosco chuckled and opened his mouth and Leila fed him.

"Sweet." Bosco mumbled with his mouth full.

“I know I am.” Leila said knowingly.

“I meant the ice cream.” Bosco teased.

Leila glared at him and swapped his playfully. "Hey!"

“And of course the server.” Bosco finally added.

“Glad you know.” Leila smiled. They finished the ice cream after awhile. Leila returned from the kitchen and sat on the couch behind Bosco.

Bosco who was putting his finishing touches on the first painting stopped and gave his own shoulders a little massage. It felt a little tight.

“Tired?” Leila asked. Bosco nodded. Leila got up and placed her hands on his shoulders giving his a message.

“Mhhh, you do this all the time in heaven?” Bosco asked. He felt his shoulds and back relaxing.

“Actually it’s my first time.” Leila confessed. “How is it?”

“It’s good. Like a pro.” Bosco yawned as he leaned against Leila. “So what do you think?” He asked showing her the finished painting.

Leila ended the massage and looked at the painting. The shells formed a night scene on the beach. In the sky was a crescent moon surrounded by a milky way of stars.

“It’s so nice, but it’s missing something.” Leila said.

“Is it? What?” Bosco asked.

Leila stared at the picture. She ran her fingers over the beach in the painting.

Bosco watched as a soft glow appeared. The light faded and something else was added on the painting. On the beach of the painting was a couple, strolling in the sand. The couple was created with many tiny shells that were never there. The couple was him and Leila.

“Now, it’s better.” Leila grinned. “This painting officially belongs to us.”

Bosco chuckled. “Only you could think up of something like that.”

“That is because guys are never as romantic as girls.” Leila told him.

“Oh, I can be romantic when I want to be, just you watch!” Bosco told her.
