{Heaven}

The gods watch the once two cheerful angels doing their chores woodenly. Not once since their return was heaven filled with their laughters.

"Earth...has truly...changed Leila and Myolie..." Damien sighed. As much trouble as the two angels were, everyone in heaven were more used to the mischievous angels.

Paul cleared his throat. "Damien...if I might speak my mind?"

Damien nodded as Paul whispered in his ear. Damien frowned.

"Are you saying their hearts are no longer towards heaven?" Damien asked.

Paul nodded watching as Damien walked toward the two angels. It was true, their hearts are no longer in heaven, but on earth.

“Is this what you two really want?” Damien asked Leila and Myolie. The two girls looked at each other and stared at their foot. Damien sighed.

“You guys are aware of what’s going to happen right? You won’t be able to have your powers anymore and not only that, you can never return to heaven again. You will grow old, and die like humans do.” Damien warned them.

“We know and we understand the consequences.” Myolie said firmly. Leila nodded.

“You two really love those two humans a lot…” Damien noted. “Well, in that case, I will grant you your wishes.”

“The heaven gate will open for you again at dawn…But remember, once you leave…you can never return.” Damien told them.

Myolie and Leila nodded.

“We’re going to miss the havocs you cause.” Damien chuckled. Myolie and Leila threw their arms around Damien embracing the man.

“We’ll miss you too…” Leila mumbled as tears well her eyes. Damien blinked back his tears as he stroked the two girls hair. As much trouble as they caused in heaven, these two angels were one of his favorite angels.

The sun began to rise and a chime began.

Myolie and Leila let go. Damien gave them an encouraging smile and gestured for them to leave.

Hurrying to the gates, Myolie and Leila watched the golden sunrise and then they stepped out of the sparkling gates of heaven and went to earth once again.

Almost a month had past, since Leila and Myolie’s disappearance.
Every morning Bosco stood at the beach watching the sunrise. Memories of Leila flooded through his mind. The sun painted a beautiful golden tinge in the sky. Waves crashed again and again.

In his hand was the blue feather Leila left him.

Bosco stared at it. It was now wrinkled and messy, the blue coloring was also fading away. “Leila…” Bosco whispered. He wondered what she was doing in heaven right now.

On the sand where Leila drew ‘Bosco <3 Leila’, a fading imprint was still there.

The feather in his hand suddenly grew warm. Bosco looked at it. To his surprise, the feather became smooth and new again.

“Leila!” Bosco exclaimed. He turned around and caught his breath. Standing right there in front of him was Leila. She was wearing a white same gown the first time he saw her. Her face was glowing with happiness and love.

“Am I dreaming?” Bosco asked out loud. Leila took a step closer and pinched him on the cheeks.

“Hey that hurts! What was that for?” Bosco exclaimed.

“To tell you you’re not dreaming.” Leila said cheekily. Before Leila could react, Bosco grabbed her and embraced her tightly.

“I missed you so much.” Bosco murmured. Leila leaned against his should and embraced Bosco tightly. “I missed you too…”

“Hey, but I’m back for good!” Leila told him as she pulled away. Bosco stared at him. “I’m human now.” Leila told him simply. “Of course, if you get me mad…I can always go back to heaven!” Leila teased him.

“No way! Now that you’re back on earth, I’m never letting you go!” Bosco told Leila as he lifted her up and swung her around in happiness.

Raymond looked at the photos he took with Myolie. She was gone. Every photo they took only had a picture of him. Just like the real person, Myolie vanished from his life.

“Myolie…” Raymond whispered as a tear fell out of his eye and dropped onto the picture.

Everyone he loves has to leave him. Before it was Li Qian and now Myolie. “Why?” Raymond asked out loud.

It took him a moment to realize that the photograph was wet. He looked down as he wiped the tear drop away and to his surprise, Myolie’s picture began to appear.

“Myolie!” Raymond exclaimed. He looked around his house. The white lilies suddenly sprang to life again. Myolie had to be back.

Raymond checked everywhere in his house, to his disappointment, he was the only one in his apartment. There were no sign of Myolie. He stood in the middle of his living room exasperated.

Outside the sun was rising. Mesmerized by the sight, Raymond walked towards his balcony. Stepping out, Raymond’s heart skipped a beat when he looked down his building. Standing there at the entrance of the building was Myolie, looking up at him with her warm brown eyes filled with love.

Raymond blinked and rubbed his eyes to make sure it was all true. Myolie was still there, standing there. Raymond hurried out of his apartment and within a few moments, he stood outside his building, staring at Myolie.

Myolie looked at Raymond smiling. “I’m back…” she told him softly. Raymond didn’t say anything, but ran and pulled her in a tight embrace. He buried his face against the crook of her neck inhaling her sweet fragrance.

“Did you know how hard it was for me these past weeks?” Raymond asked her.

“I know…it wasn’t easy for me either…” Myolie said as she blinked back her tears.

“Don’t leave me anymore Myolie.” Raymond said as he tightened his grip on her.
Myolie pulled away.

Myolie shook her head. “I’m never going to leave you again…I promise…” she whispered. “I’m back for good.”

“Are you serious? You’re not going to go back?” Raymond exclaimed. Myolie shook her head.

“I’m human now.” She told Raymond. Raymond felt his heart bursting with joy. Without any warning, Raymond bent his head and kissed Myolie softly on the lips. Ignoring the people on the streets, Myolie twined her arms around his neck and kissed him back. In her mind and heart, she knew that she and Leila had made the right choice of returning to earth.

“Ahem!” a voice interrupted them. It belonged to Bosco.

Myolie and Raymond pulled away to find Bosco and Leila standing there. Myolie blushed furiously.

“I told you we should’ve stayed at the beach.” Bosco told Leila. “But noooo…you insist we check if Myolie arrived at Raymond’s yet.”

“I was just anxious!” Leila retorted.

“See now, not only did you ruin our perfect moment, but also theirs!” Bosco told Leila. Leila crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.

Raymond and Myolie looked at each other and chuckled. Those two never change.

Leila and Bosco were still bickering when Myolie interrupted them. “Look! A rainbow!”

The four stared at the sparkling rainbow mesmerized.

Myolie and Leila looked at each other knowingly. It was a gift from Damien and the gods wishing them happiness. They knew, that as the rainbow faded, the journey through a life of love and happiness for them had begun.
