She was sleeping quite soundly. He looked around his living room to see that everything was cleaned up and stacked neatly in the right place. Although Raymond didn’t know this girl, he felt guilty for kicking her out yesterday. She had obviously meant no harm. However the lost of Qian still devastated him.
The clock read seventy thirty a.m. A chilly morning breeze flew through the kitchen window and Myolie shivered a little in her sleep.
Raymond went back to his room and took a clean blanket, after tucking it around the girl, he left the house.

Myolie woke up at noon to realizing she had fallen asleep in the kitchen of Raymond’s place. To her surprise, there was a warm blanket tucked around her.
Getting up, Myolie went to check on Raymond, to her surprise, he was gone. She returned to the living room just as the door bell rang. Myolie went to the door and opened it expecting Raymond, but to her surprise it was a pretty girl. In her hands were a basket of fruits.
The girl looked at Myolie questioningly. “You are?”
“I-I uh…am…uh Raymon’d housekeeper.” Myolie lied.
The girl looked at Myolie questioningly. “I’m Nancy Wu. Raymond’s friend. I’m here to see Raymond…is he home?” Nancy asked.
“He left this morning…” Myolie said.
“Do you know where he is?” Nancy asked.
“No, I was hoping you know.” Myolie replied. Tavia’s warning last night made her more worried about Raymond.
Nancy looked at Myolie for a moment then continued. “Well, I guess I should get going. Here give this to Raymond. Say it’s from Bosco and Nancy…tell him we’ll drop by a little later.” Nancy said.
Myolie nodded wordlessly as Nancy left.
Closing the door behind her, Myolie leaned against it and stared at the empty apartment.
“Where on earth did you go?” Myolie grumbled to herself. Keeping track on Raymond was not an easy task.

Bosco was weaving through the emergency corridors when Leila popped up right in front of his face.
“Whoa! You sure like to scare people.” Bosco noted.
“Hi!” Leila said cheerfully.
“Didn’t Anne help you get discharge?” Bosco asked her.
Leila nodded. “Yeah, I have no where to go, so I might as well hang out here. With you.”
Bosco looked at Leila as if she was crazy. “This is a hospital.”
“I have no memory or who, what when where or anything. You’re basically the cloest person I know.” Leila told him.
“There’s also your sister.” Bosco reminded her.
“Yeah, but until-”
“Sorry, I have to go.” Bosco said as he heard the speaker call his name. Patting Leila on the shoulder he ran off.
“Nice move Lei.” Leila murmured. She congratulated herself on her handy work. For on her hand, dangling on her index finger was a copy of Bosco’s keys. House keys to be more precise.

Bosco met up with Nancy after the emergency call. “Hey.” Bosco greeted his girlfriend with a hug.
“I went to Raymond’s place today. He’s not home though. A girl answered the door instead. She told me she’s his housekeeper.” Nancy told her boyfriend.
Bosco looked dumfounded. “Housekeeper?”
Nancy nodded. “Yeah that’s what I thought at first, but I took a peek at the place. And she seriously did her job. Well my shift is starting soon. I told the housekeeper to tell Ray that we’re going to drop by later. Maybe we’ll learn more about her later.”
Bosco nodded. “Okay. Yeah I tried calling him, but it’s always his machine. I’d like to check up on him too.”
“I’ll come to your place at six then.” Nancy told Bosco. Bosco nodded. After giving Bosco a peck on the cheek she left.

By the time Bosco parked his car in his building parking lot. It was almost one. His head was a little dizzy and he was definitely sleepy due to the 24 hour shift at the ER.
Bosco unlocked the door of his 18th floor apartment looking forward to a few hours of sleep. He didn’t even make it to his bedroom. Slumping on his couch, he drifted off to a deep sleep.

Myolie wandered around like a lost girl through the streets of Hong Kong. Everything seemed so foreign to her.
Tavia’s warning kept on playing in her mind.
Suddenly it occurred to her where Raymond might be. Hurrying to a quiet spot where no one would see her, Myolie clutched her pendant.
“Take me to the place with the stones.” Myolie murmured. Then she murmured a charm and then she felt herself becoming light, as she got transported to her destination.
To her dismay, Myolie landed hard on her bottom again, just like the last time. She looked over to the direction where she found Raymond last time and just as she expected he was sitting there.
Brushing off the dirt and everything, Myolie walked towards Raymond, who was kneeling in front of a ‘stone’.
Raymond felt someone approaching him and looked up to find Myolie standing there.
She knelt down to him. “Who is she?” Myolie asked softly. She gestured to the picture on the stone above the numbers.
“Li Qian.” Raymond said softly as Myolie turned numb. Li Qian! The named sounded familiar. It took Myolie a moment the realize that Li Qian was the person who’s fate she accidentally broke.
“What happened to her?” Myolie asked.
“She died…because of me.” Raymond said grimly. Not you, me. Myolie thought.
“There’s always going to be life and death on earth. I mean it just depends if it is early…or late…Everyone’s got to go when time comes…” Myolie comforted Raymond softly.
Raymond looked at her. “She’s only 24! She was supposed to have such a wonder future, golden days waiting for her. We were going to get married in spring! Nevermind. You wouldn’t understand.”
Myolie felt really bad as she continued to hear Raymond mope. “No, I wouldn’t understand…But I know Li Qian wouldn’t want to see you like this though.” Myolie told Raymond.
She realized he was gripping the dirt tightly with his hands. “I have an idea. I know whatever I say won’t comfort you, but I know this should make you feel better.” Myolie told him.
Raymond looked up at her.
“Follow me!” Myolie said standing up.

Something bothered Bosco. But he don’t know what until he blinked his eyes. Two big eyes were staring back at it.
It must be a dream, Bosco thought. He blinked and the two big eyes stared back at him. Bosco jolted up, let out a big yell and the fell off the sofa.
The fall cleared his mind and he realized the pair of eyes belonged to Leila.
