“Where exactly do you want to go?” Raymond asked Myolie when they arrived at where they started for the fifth time.
“Hold on, let me see the signs first…” Myolie said looking at the bus signs.
“Just tell me where you want to go.” Raymond sighed. It was obvious this girl wasn’t from Hong Kong.
“Harbor…Queens Harbor…” Myolie said.
Raymond groaned. “This is the wrong route for gods sake!”
“But, over here it says…Queens harbor.” Myolie protested.
“It says Queens Boro…” Raymond said.
“It does?” Myolie exclaimed. “Oh well forget it, we’ll take a taxi then!” Myolie said. She hailed a cab that took them to Queens Harbor.
“What exactly are we doing here?” Raymond asked.
“Follow me, just do what I do and I assure you you’ll feel better.” Myolie said. She ran to the waterfront of the Harbor and yelled “I HATE LIFE! IT’S SOOO UNFAIR!” Then she turned to Raymond.
“Go on, do it! You’ll feel better!”
Raymond looked at Myolie as if she was crazy. “You’re kidding right?”
“No! Try it! AHHHHHHHHHHHH LIFE IS SO UNFAIR!” Myolie yelled. Raymond stood ten feet away from her scrutinizing her. Myolie sighed and walked over and dragged Raymond to the railing.
“Yell! Let your anger out!” Myolie told him. “Come on! Try it!”
Raymond looked at Myolie doubtfully and turned to the river. “Here goes nothing…LIFE IS SO UNFAIR! THERE IS NOT JUSTICE IN THIS WORLD!” He yelled. To his surprise, just as Myolie told him, he did feel a little better.
“I HATE THIS WORLD! QIAN, WHY DID YOU HAVE TO LEAVE ME?” Raymond yelled. Myolie looked at him smiling.
“Feel better?” She asked.
“I guess…” Raymond said simply.
“Well then we’ll do it until you feel better!” Myolie told him. She turned to the water and screamed at the top of her lungs, Raymond followed after doing the same thing.
They two enjoyed screaming until a middle age man came up to them scowling.
“Will you two shut up?!” The Man snapped.
“What did we do?” Myolie exclaimed.
“Quit screaming you lunatics! You scared away my fishes for heaven’s sake!” the man said stomping off with his bucket and fishing rood.
After a moment of silence, Raymond let out a chuckle. Something he didn’t do for a long time ever since Qian died.
“Who exactly are you?” Raymond asked turning to Myolie.
“Someone. Like I said before, I’m here to help you.” Myolie told him.
Raymond sighed. “You can’t help me.”
“How are you so sure?” Myolie asked him.
“You don’t understand.” Raymond said turning away from Myolie.
“What don’t I understand? Your girlfriend died and you are devastated right?” Myolie asked.
Raymond looked at Myolie.
“Oh no! It’s not what you think! Don’t misunderstand me! I’m not interested in you or what ever so. I just want to help.” Myolie said.
“Why would you want to help me for no reason?” Raymond asked.
“Because I was the one who found you unconscious and I guess it’s….Fate?” Myolie replied.
“Fate?” Raymond asked.
“Look, I’m not interested in you! And besides we can never be, so don’t worry!” Myolie said. This guy sure was annoying.
Suddenly her surprise Raymond looked down at her feet and asked “Where are your shoes?”
“I-uh, I lost them…on the way here” Myolie said. Raymond looked at the Myolie, she was wearing a white thin satin gown and her foot was bare. Suddenly he realized that she might be one of those illegal immigrants from Mainland China. Of course! That would explain everything, her stumbling upon him out of no where and ‘helping’ him.
Raymond put his arms around Myolie when he saw two officers walking around the harbor inspecting the water to making sure no one can sneak in from the water way in HK.
Raymond nodded to the officers as they passed. Myolie looked up at Raymond wondering what was going on. “What happened?” Myolie asked.
He turned to Myolie. “Look, I know what’s going on. Don’t worry, I won’t rat you out.” He assured her.
Myolie frowned. “What are you talking about?”
“You’re an illegal immigrant, right?” Raymond asked.
“Uh…yeah oh yea...” Myolie said with uncertainty. She had no idea what illegal immigrant meant, but if it meant she can keep an eye on Raymond, then why not admit to being one. No harm done.
“Why did you come here?” Raymond asked.
“I came here to find my sister…” Myolie lied, well it wasn’t exactly a lie, she still have to find Leila. “So would you mind if I work as your housekeeper until I find my sister?” She crossed her fingers as she waited for his answer.
Raymond hesitated then finally agreed. With his busy hours at the hospital, he’s never had time to keep his place in shape. Li Qian usually does it for him…until…The thought of Li Qian made him upset again.
Myolie watched as Raymond’s face turned grim and sober.
“You miss Li Qian a lot don’t you?” Myolie said softly. Raymond leaned against the railing of the harbor and buried his face in his hands.
“I really miss her…I wish I can see her…just right now for a moment and I would be please.” Raymond murmured.
“I know, why don’t you trying going to sleep, you might probably see her in your dreams…” Myolie suggested.
Raymond looked up. Before her could say anything, Myolie blew a mist at him and Raymond drifted off to sleep right against the railing

Bosco stopped Nancy in the corridors the next day. Nancy struggled against him. “Let me go!”
“Look Nan! That was my cousin yesterday!” Bosco told her.
“Your cousin? I’ve met all your cousins last summer in the USA!” Nancy told him. “Come on! Get a better explanation Bosco Wong!” Nancy snapped.
Suddenly Leila ran up two the two couples.
“I’m really his cousin…” Leila said.
Nancy turned and looked at Leila questioningly.
“Let me explain.” Leila said. Nancy slowly nodded. The three settled in the hospital canteen.
“I just graduated from college. My mom-”
“Just how exactly are you related to him?” Nancy asked Leila.
“Well, I’m his mother’s cousin’s brother’s sister’s wife’s sister’s cousin’s aunt’s uncle’s son’s niece’s nephew’s sister’s mother’s brother’s wife’s grandmother’s daughter’s cousin’s mother’s nephew’s niece’s daughter ten times removed.” Leila told Nancy.
“Fine explain your actions yesterday then.” Nancy said.
“That…is a very good idea…you see about my embarrassing actions yesterday…well…it’s uh because…because…” Leila said trailing off.
“It’s because she’s a little delusional…and schizophrenic.” Bosco finished for Leila.
“Yeah! I’m delusional and a little schizophrenic.” Leila said nodding vigorously even though she had no idea what delusional and schizophrenic mean.
“Nan, I’m serious and another reason why she’s here is because her mother was hoping I can help her find help…” Bosco said hoping to convince his girlfriend.
“So she’s really your cousin…” Nancy said slowly. Bosco nodded. “But…”
“But what?” Bosco asked.
“If she’s delusional and schizophrenic…wouldn’t it be unsafe to be in the same house as her?” Nancy whispered to her boyfriend.
Leila watched the two whisper in each other’s ears.
“She should be fine as long as she takes the medicine the doctor prescribed for her. Her mother’s my aunt, so I guess it’s the least I can do to take her in.” Bosco told his girlfriend.
Nancy finally let out a small smile. “Then why didn’t you two tell me earlier?”
“Leila never gave me a chance! Her illness was taking effect remember?” Bosco said. Nancy nodded.
“Well, Leila…I guess I’m sorry.” Nancy said to the girl. She held out her hand and shook it with Leila.
“Okay, I really have to go.” Nancy said getting up and leaving. “I’ll see you guys later.”
Once Nancy was gone, Leila leaned over the table staring at Bosco. “Wasn’t my acting good?”
“Did you have to stretch it that far? Aunt’s sister’s cousin’s niece’s etc and then ten times removed?” Bosco exclaimed.
“Can you come up with a better explanation? She’s met all your cousins remember?” Leila snapped.
“Just remember you are leaving once you find your sister.” Bosco told her. Leila nodded. “I know, I know!” Leila said.
“Well, I have to go right now! I’ll see you tonight!” Leila said getting up.
“Where are you going?” Bosco asked curiously.
“None of your business!” Leila told him as she flounced off.
Bosco shook his head. “What did I do wrong?” He asked himself. Suddenly someone slapped his on the shoulder.
“Whoa!” Bosco turned around to see Raymond staring at him. “Hey you’re back!”
Raymond took a seat opposite of him. “Yeah…”
“I thought you were going to take a longer vacation.” Bosco said to his friend.
“Qian wouldn’t want me doing that. I know her. If I were to spend time being devastated I might as well use the time to save people right?” Raymond asked his friend.
Bosco chuckled and nodded. “What pulled you back up?”
“A dream…” Raymond replied. Before Bosco could question further, the two were interrupted by young man.
“The Director wants to see you guys in his office.” He told Raymond and Bosco. Raymond and Bosco looked at each other questioningly and made their way to the Hospital Director’s office on the upper floor.
Raymond knocked on the white polished door and a voice said come in. The two friends walked into the Director’s office.
“Raymond! Bosco! Have a seat.” The middle age man said cheerfully.
Bosco and Raymond took a seat in front of the director.
“I’m surprised you’re back so early.” Mr. Cheng said to Raymond.
“Yeah well I figured if I’m going to spend time moping, I might as well us it to save lives.” Raymond said.
Mr. Cheng nodded. “Excellent thinking and I’m sure Li Qian’s proud of you.”
Raymond gave a small smile and leaned against the leather chair.
“Anyway, let me get to my point. I called you two in to ask for a favor. My niece just came back from the States. She’s also studying to be a doctor, but she still needs to complete her training. You two are one of the youngest and most outstanding doctors here. So I was wondering if you guys can be in charge of her training.” Mr. Cheng asked them.
“Sure.” Bosco said.
“Yeah.” Raymond said.
Mr. Cheng smiled. “Great, I know you two would agree. It’s only going to be for six months just like other doctor trainings.”
“When do we start?” Bosco asked.
“She's arrived quite awhile ago and-” Mr. Cheng stopped when there was a knock on the door. “It must be her. Come in.” Mr. Cheng called out.
Raymond and Bosco turned around to watch as the door opened. In walked a pretty girl dressed in purple from head to toe.
