=GUIGUI's POV=

We headed at the kitchen; they keep on looking every corner of the house like they were scanning the whole house with their eyes... Suddenly, MeiMei asked me "Why is there no one here?" she asked me looking scared with the way she looks. I thought for quite a minute. She waited for my answer patiently.

When we reached the kitchen, I replied at her, "Uhmm, actually, before the accident, Grandma and I had an idea of renovating this house" I paused for a second, when I'm going to open my mouth to speak, Ya tou asked "renovating? WHY? Your house is already big!" she shouted at me. I smiled at her and continued "We planned to renovate it for a smaller house. I told grandma that I wanted to live normally like other people without all those guards to Guide me and maids to serve us." I stopped there. I don't want to extend that topic any longer.

But just when I sited and gave them tea, Xiao Xun asked me, "So, when will the renovation begin?" .I paused for awhile, just as I suspected, they wanted to know more. I cleared my throat then continued "I guess not yet. After that accident I received a note from grandma. She told me to find a cache" I look at them. Now, they seem more interested. I sighed silently. "What cache?" MeiMei asked with her eyes full of interests. "I... I'm really not sure, my grandma said it was a ring from my parents, I wanted to know where it is but, the paper was ripped." I answered her.

Xiao Xun then told me "So, back to the topic. Gui, I guess it will be better if you'll not renovate this house anymore." I turned my view to her, I looked at her confused. I think she understand what I'm going to say, she quickly said "All the memories you had were here. All those sweet, happy, or even the sad moments you experienced with your family was here. Even some of 'our' memories were here..." she look at me as if she's pleading to change my mind.

I closed my eyes and sighed. "And how do you think I can pay all those tax and bills of this house?" I replied at her. She kept silent. MeiMei came up and told me "We can help you." they smiled. "Are you sure?" I whispered. "Of course!" Ya tou and Xiao Xun both said at the same time. Since we're using solar electricity, it might as well turn out to be good, the bills is much lesser than usual. "okay la. Ill just call unnie tomorrow." I smiled at them and they just smiled back at me, "Unnie??" Ya tou asked. I replied at her smiling, "yup! I consider her as my sister already. Even before, she always plays with us right?". We laughed lightly as we commemorate our happy memories with her before."

As we laugh, MeiMei shouted "I just had a feeling of cleaning the house! Let's do it!" she quickly grabbed Yatou and Xiao Xun's hand. Whew! Luckily not mine, just as I sighed in relief, Xiao Xun went back to dragged me to the living room. "Wei! Why me?" I shouted at her and she just smiled sweetly. Ya tou butt in and says "Common! Let's do it together!" I made faces in front of her saying that I'm already tired. But MeiMei came up to help her "o0o0ops! Don’t think of getting your sickness as an excuse!" Urrgh... I can't do anything but to follow them.

As I and Xiao Xun were arranging the seats and the sofa, I asked her, "So, how's your relationship with Xiao Yu?" after she heard that, she stopped, and sited on one of the sofa. I sited right next at her and she replied "we... already broke up." she told me, I can see the sorrow marked on her eyes. "Oh… Sorry" I told her. I really hate it when her expression is like this, I kept silent.

After a minute she told me "No Gui, its okay. Actually, he leaved peacefully, and with him leaving me, I learned a lesson." I starred at her, waiting. Then she continued "that is... I realized, I was born 'alone' and surely, I'll die 'alone'. No matter how much I love him, we'll still be apart at the end." She smiled at me. I hugged her delighted by what she said.

She told me as she whispers "Gui, if ever you'll have a lover, and leaves you. Here's what you have to learn...” She smiled at me while withdrawing from our hug. “One big lesson to engrave into your mind is this," She paused for a while and continued "Learn to say goodbye to the person who already said Goodbye to you...".

Suddenly Yatou and MeiMei appeared in front of us. "UNFAIR!" They both yelled, they run towards where we were and hugged both of us. We laughed hardly.
All of us enjoyed cleaning the living room, after that, we sat on one corner of the house. The room was now clean. The parquet floor of the foyer had a soft patina; the chandelier was sparkling and the furniture was arrange on its proper places. We stared at each other and had a one good laughs.

We spend the day together. On lunch time, we cooked together outside, beside the swimming pool.

They wanted to sleep here tonight so I let them stay in my room since the other rooms were not yet organized. My room was large and beautiful with a high ceiling, and a delicate mantel above the white brick fireplace. While we were all laid down on my soft, comfortable bed, MeiMei started a conversation

"So, what's your plan with grandma's body?" MeiMei whispered. "I decided to cremate it" I whispered back. Right after I finished saying that, they shouted at me “WHAT!” whew! I was stunned by their reaction. After a minute, I replied “Grandma had instructed me to do that before”

They kept silent. They didn’t reply back to me again. Half hour past filled of silence and we haven’t slept yet,
I brought up another topic. “So, you’ll stay here for quite a while?” I asked them. Xiao Xun answered me “For me, my family had just emigrated from Korea, so I might as well stay here for a long time.” I had a big smile but just faded because I haven’t heard MeiiMei and Yatou yet. I glanced at both of them. They told me at the same time “So as we!” I cheered joyfully.

“So, we’ll study at your school” Yatou said sadly. “Wei! What’s wrong with that expression?” I asked her. I waited for an answer but, she didn’t speak anymore. I turned to look at MeiMei and she answered “Are you crazy? That school was filled with an impetuous student!” she told me. I was shocked by what she said. I didn’t expect school’s image was a failure by people’s opinions. MeiMei looked at me with an apologetic look.

“It’s okay. I’ll try to talk to the principal about this topic tomorrow.” I smiled at her, and continued “But you’ll still proceed in my school, okay?” ..They nodded at me.
That night, I slept comfortably with my friends at my side.

A week past, I had quite recovered from grandma leaving me. My friends sympathized with me while the process of burning grandma’s corpse was going on.
