Aaron went towards her taking his time, slowly. "Can you accompany me?” he asked her softly. GuiGui was indeed stunned, she opened her mouth but no words came out as she continues to sob. Aaron could not wait any longer. He grabbed on her hands and dragged her down to his car.
Whatever glaring she does, Aaron didn’t mind her. She asked so many questions, but Aaron kept silent. Finally, after some while, they have reached their destination; He stopped his car beside an amusement park "Here we are!" he told her. "Huh?" was the only word GuiGui managed to say. “I know she wanted to be alone for today and cry all day. However, that won’t be good. At least here, many people could prove to her that she is not alone in this world.”
Aaron pulled her to ride in a roller coaster. Of course, at first, she does not want but he tried to pull her in. The next moment, they were riding here on the train, going up and down. She kept on screaming. She holds on to him tightly when the train goes wild. “My plan is working, this is better than to scream all day beside the sea. At least today, she can forget her grandmother for a while and let her fears and nervousness overcome her sadness.”Aaron thought.
“GuiGui is cute; she was clumsy however she was cool and smart. She forgets things easily. She can make everyone happy. She often makes people believe her lies for good, number one reason is she doesn’t want them to be sad. Actually, I’ve thought she was perfect. A perfect lady who needs love and somebody’s company. I can finally conclude what her true personality really is, after reading that messages.” Aaron smiled secretly.
They played in so many rides and noticed, it’s getting dark, besides, Aaron still needs to discharge her mother. He walked with her down to his Car and drove her home. She pointed the direction where her home is. Their house is huge, couldn’t imagine that only one person lives here. Aaron glanced at her, it seems like her expression earlier came back, and her eyes were watery, staring at their house.
“Thanks” GuiGui managed to tell him. She followed it with a question, “Hmm, why did you do that?” Aaron knew her very much and in someway, he knew she‘d ask about this matter. “We’re outside school’s territory. I don’t want that childish fight to affect us when we’re out in school” Aaron cleared his throat and added quickly “I have to go now, bye” So there, he started his engine and drove off to discharge his mother.
GuiGui walked towards their house, frightened. She opened the door slowly and was taken aback by what she saw; things were scattered all over the house. A tear dropped down, down beside her foot as she sees a letter.
She picked it up, crying "Dear, I wish you a happy birthday today. Grandma is sorry because she would not be able to celebrate with you. I want you to stay strong. Gui, I’m not sure if the man will follow his promise but I want you to always take care of yourself. Whatever happens, don’t let any stranger gets into your room. Now gui, I want you to understand everything perfectly. You’re not the real daughter of your ma and pa. I want you to find your real parents, because they have my real grandson. If you have found him, explain to him all what happened. We’re sorry gui, but we love you. Take care always. -Grandma"
GuiGui hugged the paper towards her as tears still flows continuously. “Life is so bitter, I have so many questions in my mind, where’s my real parents? Do I have sisters? Brothers? How come I never knew it?” GuiGui lies down as she cries.
Later, she went out to ask her neighbors what happened;
“Group of armed men strike in your house, bodyguards can’t do anything for they have their weapons. We surrounded your house… clueless of what was happening inside, until we heard a gunshot. The police arrived late, when they came in, they saw your grandma, lying on the floor bleeding. The armed men were not seen inside the house anymore, probably they escaped.” GuiGui continues to cry as this statement continues to replay on her mind. She went at her room on the second floor, she opened the door and with her surprise, her room was in order and clean. She sealed the door behind her as she tries to wipe her tears, “Why am I left alone in this house? In fact I should not be! I am not the real daughter of mom and dad, I shouldn’t be the one suffering here! Why am I included? Why?!”
