Before she went to the event, she was told to have a makeover by Aunty Kim. She brought Min Hee to have a shopping and went to saloon. She buys clothes, make up, shoes, handbags and straighten her hair. She also changes her big spectacles to contact lens.
She looks beautiful tonight and all her family members were shocked to see her changes especially Hyung Joon and Min Hwan. He can't move his eyes away from her. He can't believe Min Hee has change look from a look just like a maid to an elegant girl that can melt men's eyes.
"Yes Mr Hyung Joon and Mr Min Hwan?" Min Hee asked sarcastically to both of them while they were still staring at her.
"Ehem Ehem.... Oww nothing~" Hyung Joon replied with his hand at the back of head.
"Oww Noona! You look beautiful! I can't believe it's you! You look amazing," Min Hwan replied and looked her from head to toe.
"Haha. You are kidding, right? Actually, I didn't expect to be like this... Hummmm"
"Aniyo!! You look really gorgeous. It's different from the first day we met you. Right, Hyung?" Min Hwan said and looks at his brother. Hyung Joon just nodded and made an excuse because someone wants to meet him.
Min Hee was alone at the ballroom since everyone was busy greeting the people coming. She didn't know anyone there so she just sits alone when suddenly her grandfather asked her to be with him.
Min Hee stand beside her grandfather while her grandfather's assistant introduce all the business partners to them.
" Mr Kim, this is Mr Lee from Big Shine Corporation and Seoul Hotel. Do you remember him? He is bestfriend of Mr Kim junior the pass," his assistant introduced. Since Mr Kim is already old, he kinda forgot people in the business.
"How are you, Mr Kim senior?" Mr Lee greeted.
"Yeah.. I remember you. Hyung Joon told me about you last week. I'm fine. How about you?" He replied.
Min Hee just stand there felling uncomfortable with her surroundings because this her first time being surrounded by the business people.
"I'm feeling good now. Btw, thank you for helping my company. If your company doesn't help us, maybe my company will not exist anymore. And sorry for not being able to attend any of the meeting agreement," Mr Lee said. His company's problem was settled by the help of SIB.
"Haha. It's alright. No need to be thankful. Since my family knows you we are willing to help."
"Hello, Mr Lee," a voice coming from behind him appeared. It's Hyung Joon and with him was a guy around his age, approaching them.
"Oww Hyung Joon! Long time no see," Mr Lee said in excitement. "Btw, Mr Kim, who is this young lady?" Everyone's eyes were at Min Hee.
"Owh my God! How can I forget my little Min Hee!" Mr Kim laughed.
"Harabuhji!! I'm not a little kid!" that makes everyone laughed. These make her shy and uncomfortable.
"This is Kim Min Hee. She is Kim Dong Hae's daughter. Everyone though she is dead but we just found out she is still alive!" grandfather Kim introduced.
"Dong Hae's daugther? Owh my god!" Mr Kim hugged Min Hee and makes her confused. "Did you know your father is my best friend? I missed him so much."
Min Hee just nodded her head and smiled. Then she realized someone was staring at her. He was the person with Hyung Joon before.
Hyung Joon realized Hongki was staring at his cousin and so as Min Hee. "Min Hee, this is Lee Hongki, Mr Kim's son," he introduced and put his hand around Min Hee's shoulder.
"Hye...." Min Hee greeted. Hongki replied and give her a cute smile that makes her heart beat to skip. She never saw a guy smile at her like that before except for her family guy members.
"Btw, where is Jae Jin? I don't see him around here," Hyung Joon asked Hongki.
"That naughty kid? I've told him earlier that we have to attend an aniversary event but till now, he never showed up," Mr Kim replied on behalf of Hongki.
"Excuse me, who is Jae Jin?" Min Hee asked curiously. She thinks she had heard that name before, but she didn't know when she heard and who that person is.
"She is my brother, Min Hee. I think he is the same age as you. I'll introduce him to you next time," Hongki replied and curled a smile.
"Sir, the event will start in a minute since everybody is here," they were interupted by Grandfather Kim's assistant.
"Alright, I'll be going. Please take a seat, Mr Lee," grandfather Kim walked away from them and everyone is on their own seat now.
One table consist of 10 chairs. At the special table was seated by the family member of Kim's.
The event was start a couple minutes ago. The first program of the event was the slideshows of how SIB was set up and all the pictures that the company involves with for the past years.
Then it comes to the President of CIB which was Mr Kim senior. On that speech, he had introduced Min Hee to the public. Not only people in the ballroom, but also to all citizen of Korea. The event was aired at the news on the television and newspaper.
He told that her granddaughter will take over SIB from now on. Min Hee went up to the stage and made a speech also.
"Ahnyonghaseyo, everyone! First of all, I would like to thanks to my family. Without them I will not be standing here. Eventhough my parents had died, I still have my grandparents, uncle, auntie and my cousins. At first I can't accept this opportunity given to me. But my family had advice me and they said it's nothing to be afraid of. They are willing to help me from the ground. Thank you so much harabuhji~~"
There's crowd claps given by all the people inside the ballroom.
While everyone was enjoying their dinner inside the ballroom, Min Hee went out to the lobby and sit alone. She didn't fell hungry maybe because she was still nervous.
When she was about to leave the lobby and went back to the ballroom, she bumped into someone.
"Aigoo!! Beanie! Sorry! Sorry!" she keeps apologized and bowed without look at that person. She's afraid. She didn't want to be scold in the public. She was dreaming and didn't realise someone was passing her. Then suddenly she bumped to that person.
"Are you alright, sssii....... Youu!!!" she yelled causing everyone's eyes were looking at them. "What are you doing here?!"
"ommoo! Yah! Don't you have eyes?! Why are you bumping into me?" the person yelled back. That person was Jae Jin, Min Hee's enemy. They cannot meet each other or else it will turn into a fight.
“OMG!! It’s you miss clown! Wow what happen to you? Haha. Even if you change I will still recognise you,” he said and gave her a wink.
At first, Jae Jin didn't recognize her since she has changed her appearance. He declared in his thought that girl look beautiful but he didn't know it was her earlier. He just recognized her when she was yelling.
"Deh?! Ofcourse I have eyes! Don't you see?" she point at her eyes and continued, "what the hell? Who are willing to bump into you? Stupid! Btw, what are you doing here? Huh? And stop calling me by that name!"
"But you look..... umm never mind! Whatever!! Yah Kim Min Hee!! I'm the one who should ask you that! Owww~~ you work here, aren't you? Since the day you are fired!" he said and laughed.
"You!! Idiot!!" After saying that, she left directing to the entrance leaving Jae Jin alone at the lobby. She didn't want to talk to him because has no mood to fight with him. And she won't be telling him what she is doing there.
"Kim Min Hee! You're different now! Hahaha!" Jae Jin yelled so that Min Hee will hear that even she was getting far.
As expected, Min Hee heard what Jae Jin said. She knows what he meant by that. Before, she looks like a clown and now she is an elegant girl.
After Min Hee left, Jae Jin went in to the ballroom. He saw Min Hwan was talking with three girls while taking out his hand phone and take the phone numbers of those girls.
"Ya! Min Hwan shii the player! Haha," Jae Jin greeted as he came closer to Min Hwan.
"Jae Jin hyung! What are you doing? You can't say that!" he replied while looking at the girls who were walking away from them. "Look! They are running away!" Jae Jin just laughs of Min Hwan's anger. They are friends in the music class. They always hangout and jamming with their other friends.
"Jae Jin?? Aigoo~~ you just come? The event is almost finished and you turned up your face at the end of the event?" Hyung Joon said as he approached them. With him were Grandfather Kim, Mr Lee and Hongki.
"Sorry about that. I'm busy this few days. Sorry appa! At least I come, right? Hehe" he apologized.
"He must be your son, right?" grandfather Kim asked Mr Lee. "He must be the same age as my granddaughter. I'll be glad if they meet. Owh btw, where is she, Hyung Joon?" he continued and look towards Mr Lee with his shiny eyes. It seems like he had planned something that Mr Lee can also understand. Both of them laugh in unison.
"I don't know harabuhji. I didn't see her after the speech."
"I must call her," Grandfather Kim said while taking out his phone and dialled Min Hee's number.
"Yabuseyo? Sweety~ where are you? Mwoo? You are otw home? But, why did you left without telling us? Where are you now? I'll ask the driver to pick you up. Alright! Be careful and take care," he ended the call.
"Why did she left harabuhji?" Min Hwan asked.
"She said she didn't feel well," Grandfather Kim replied. He looked at Jae Jin who was standing beside Min Hwan silently. He looked lost and didn't understand anything.
"I'll introduce you to her, Jae Jin. She is my newly founded cousin that was lost around 19 years," Hyung Joon said.
"Mwoo?! Don't Hyung! He might fall in love with my lovely noona! It can't be~~ He is a player, you should know that! Haha" Min Hwan said to Hyung Joon while everyone was laughing except for Jae Jin. His face feels hot and his cheeks turn to reddish. He feels ashamed.
"Yah! Min Hwan! I'm not a player... You are!" Jae Jin knocked on Min Hwan's forehead.
Everyone was having a fun that night.
