Everyone who attended the ceremony congrats them for their engagement. Even though, outside they looked like a real couple but inside their heart, they were being forced by their family.
When they were not at the public, they will always fight but when they were in public they will looked like a couple so that people will think that they were a real sweet couple. Their family had warned them to act nice and like a lovely couple when they were in public.
Last week, Min Hee was going to a meeting which was held at Gangnam district. She drives her red Mini Cooper alone to the place where the seminar was held.
Since her grandparents had gone for their holiday in Jeju Island together with Auntie Jung, Uncle and Auntie Kim, she had to attend it on behalf of his grandfather. Actually his grandfather asked Hyung Joon to go with Min Hee but he refused to go with his reason that he has to attend a meeting in his company.
On her way going back home from Gangnam district, suddenly she heard a ‘thud’ sound coming from her car. She was too panic about the sound then she moves her car beside the road. When she went outside to check on her car, she then realised that one of her tyre were flat.
“Owh My God!! Why do you have to puncture at this time and this place??” she muttered at the tyre in front of her which was obviously can’t hear what she was saying. The place looked scary since not many people were using the road and it was almost dark. Even though the time was still at 5.30pm, but the weather looked like it was going to rain.
She went back inside her car and locked all the doors and windows. She took her hand phone and starts to dial Hyung Joon’s number.
“Yabuseyo? Yah! Hyung Joon oppa! I’m in a big trouble! Help Me!!” she yelled as Hyung Joon picked up her call.
“Kim Min Hee! Can you speak nicely? Don’t yell! I might get deaf if you always yelled at me every time you call,” he retorted.
“Sorry oppa~~ hehe... forgive me? You should! Because I’m in trouble now!” she apologised.
“Alright~ What is your problem? Haven’t you finished the meeting yet?” He asked.
“It has finished. Now I’m on my way home but suddenly my car tyre was punctured! I don’t know how to fix it since I’m a girl! Please pick me up or fixed it for me. Please~~ I’m afraid! It’s getting dark now! Oppa~~ Help! This place look scary....” she implored.
“Mwoo? Didn’t you check your tyre before you go? Min Hee ahh~ I have to meet someone tonight. I can’t pick you up. Sorry. I’m in a hurry now. I’ll call Mr Park to pick you up. Is it okay?” he explained.
“Oppa~ haish! Nevermind! Mr Park has work off today! Just call Min Hwan for me! Ask him to fetch me here. He must or else your beloved cute cousin will be eaten by a tiger tonight. Alright my hand phone’s battery is running out now! Bye!” as she finished the call, her phone was automatically switched off because of the empty battery.
She just stayed in the car for half an hour with the engine was still on and the air conditioner was switched on. She felt cold and she didn’t even bring her jacket to reduce the coldness.
It was rainy so she cannot open her windows to reduce the coldness in the car. Even though it is not rainy, she was afraid to open the window since it was dark outside and she was afraid if someone will go inside her car and kidnapped her.
She fell asleep for another half an hour then a knocked on the window makes her awake. She looked outside the window and she saw a person was standing outside. Min Hee rubbed her eyes smoothly to see who the person is. She didn’t even realise that the rain has stopped.
“Jae Jin??” she whispered to herself. She rubbed her eyes again to make sure it was Jae Jin. After making sure it was Jae Jin, she opened the locked and went outside her car.
“Yah! Don’t you afraid? You still can sleep in there tightly? I called you many times but your hand phone was switched off!” he scolded.
“Of course I’m afraid!! Why are you here?! I don’t need you!” she said and her eyes were teary but it was stuck in her eyes. She felt afraid because she was alone before and now Jae Jin was scolding at her.
“I asked Min Hwan to fetch me! Not you!” she continued and tears starts to roll down her cheeks one by one.
“Min Hwan called me asking me to fetch you and he told me what is happening to you. Why don’t you just call me? I’ll come on the time you call!” he said smoothly when he realised Min Hee eyes were watery.
“So why did you scold me? Don’t you know that I’m afraid to be alone in the dark? I’ve been waiting for Min Hwan to fetch me for almost one hour!! My phone battery was empty, I only called Hyung Joon oppa before it was finished!” she yelled at him when the tears were falling to her cheeks like rain.
“I’m afraid something will happen to you. I’m sorry, Min Hee,” Jae Jin apologised and hugged her to make her feel safe. Min Hee hugged him back and she felt safe in Jae Jin’s hug. They totally forget how they hate each other before.
Min Hee broke the hug when she realised that she was hugging Jae Jin. Her face felt hot and she can felt her face was red in coloured. She looked at the other way so that Jae Jin can’t see her red face.
Jae Jin feels the same as Min Hee feels when she broke up the hug. His face was red and he felt ashamed of himself. How can he forget his feelings towards Min Hee. They were enemy, remember?
“Pack up your things. Don’t leave any valuable things inside the car. Make sure you locked all the doors and windows. Just leave your car here. I’ll ask someone to fix it tomorrow. I’ll send you home,” he instructed to break up the silence.
Min Hee followed what he said and followed him to his car which was parked behind her car.
As they got inside the car, Min Hee asked, “Where is Min Hwan? I thought he is the one who suppose to pick me up here.”
“Actually, when Hyung Joon called I was with him at our friend’s house. Then he asked me to get you on behalf of him. He said he got something to do then he left without telling me where exactly you are. I called him many times but there was no answer then I called you, it’s switched off. Lastly, I called Hyung Joon which I got his number through his secretary,” Jae Jin explained.
“Ohhh...” Min Hee made that sound and after that none of them were speaking.
“Achoo!” Min Hee sneezed on their way home.
“You got flu! You want to go to the hospital?” Jae Jin asked her and he stopped his car beside the road to take a tissue and his jacket at the back seat.
Min Hee just shook her head which means that she don’t want to go to the hospital.
“Here!” he handed her the tissue and his black leather jacket. “You should use more clothes so that you can’t get cold.”
“I forgot to bring mine, I left it at home. Jae Jin ahh~ can you maximize the temperature of the air conditioner? I feel cold,” she said with her smooth voice.
“What?? So that’s mean you didn’t wear any extra clothes when you were in your car waiting someone to fetch you?” he asked as he turns the air conditioner to maximum temperature so that she feel comfortable.
“Yes! Btw, can you stop at any restaurant? I’m hungry~ I didn’t eat during lunch,” Min Hee implored.
“Why you didn’t have your lunch? OMG! This girl!!”
“Min Hee?” he says Min Hee’s name when she didn’t answer his question. There was still no sound of Min Hee. Then he looked beside him and he can see Min Hee was in her dreamland. That’s why she didn’t answer his question.
“I’m Sorry, Min Hee. I’m late to fetch you up. And you can’t get cold if I come earlier,” Jae Jin said to himself in the car since Min Hee was sleeping at the passenger front seat. “I didn’t mean to scold you, it’s just.........I care for you. And I don’t know why the feeling of care comes on that time,” he continue.
“Yah. Min Hee! Wake up! We arrive at the restaurant now. If you are hungry wake up now! Or else I will leave you here alone,” Jae Jin nudge her as he opened the door on Min Hee’s side as they arrived the restaurant.
As Min Hee opened her eye, the first thing she saw was Jae Jin’s face which was only 15 centimetre from her face.
“Yah!! What are you doing? You pervert!!” Min Hee yelled and slapped his forehead.
“ouch! That’s hurt! I’m waking you up! You should be thankful though! Pabo!” Jae Jin replied as he went outside waiting for Min Hee to get out of the car still using Jae Jin’s jacket.
They walked side by side towards the entrance when suddenly Min Hee stopped as she saw two familiar people going out from the restaurant.
“MIN HEE??!!!!!” Both of them shouted making Jae Jin who was two steps in front of Min Hee to stop.
