“No, I don’t care anymore only reason I’m alive right now is because of Da-Bin”
“It’s time you moved on, now we reasoned with you about Da-Bin, but how do expect to have a future and family, your our only son”, my omoni pleaded
I couldn’t take anymore of their talk about a wife and being the future of my father’s business. Grabbing my coat I stormed away from them as I grabbed Da-Bin’s arm and left.
“Oppa? are you ok….why were omoni and abeoji and you fighting?”
“Oh, it was just them trying to get me to marry someone again.”
Da-Bin smiled as we drove home. I pulled up into our driveway and as I got out of the car, “She would have loved it here…”
When I got in the house I quickly turned off the phone. “Da-Bin, hurry up and get ready for bed.
“Araso oppa”, she said in a whiney voice.
I smiled as I went to my room and changed in a plain white beader and shorts. And quickly went to bed, today was gonna be a long day and I wasn’t looking forward to it.
I thought and went to sleep.
“No No, it wasn’t suppose to be this way”, quickly I opened my eyes realizing it was just a dream...again.
I felt my forehead as sweat ran down my hand and went back to sleep.
By the time I woke up again it was 6:50 and I needed to get ready for school. After grabbing just a protein bar I was ready to head out the door. Da-Bin was still sleeping so I picked her up and put her in the car. She already had her own room and things at my parents house so I dropped her off and headed to school. Today was the first day of the new semester. Right now I’m senior year but I’m really supposed to be in my first year of college but something happened last year. I had missed a lot of days of school so my Abeoji made me retake this year.
I arrived at the building and parked in the driveway. Everybody was standing in little groups talking with old friends. I headed through the doors and pulled a fold piece of paper out of my pocket. It seemed like I had no friends this year since Eunhyuk wasn't here. I looked at the paper and headed to my first class.
No one was the classroom but a girl. She was sitting in the front row. I went near the back.
"Annonghaseyo", she said
I ignored her and sat down. Soon class started and everybody came in. The teachers would introduce themselves in each class and it would just be the same routine.
Since today was the first day, they made half a day. After lunch, we could al leave. I head toward the cafeteria and sat by myself. So far today was really annoying. Girls kept trying to flirt with me and then would leave all mad when I turned them down...geez. But the funny thing is boys kept giving me death glares. When school was finally over, I walked out towards my car and drove to my parent’s house.
When I opened the door Da-Bin came running towards me and jumped. "Oppa Oppa, did you have fun the high school.
"Yep, I sure did, but girls kept trying to steal my heart"
Da-Bin looked at me kinda scared. "But I told them that a beautiful girl name Jung Da-Bin had already taken it and had no intentions of giving me back. She giggled as I was ready to leave without saying anything to my parents but my father came.
"Kim JaeJoong, your omoni and I need to talk to you", he said
So I followed him into his office while Da-Bin played with their dog.
"JaeJoong, I've decided that if you don't get a fiancé then we won't help you support Da-Bin"
"What the hell, your gonna use a little girl against me?"
"Now we've already arranged a date with you and some ladies, daughters of friends"
"...I'm not doing it" I looked at Da-Bin thought the window, she was playing in the yard.
"Fine", I said angrily
My abeoji smiled, "Next Sunday at 2:00"
