The girls all thought about the names.
“I like K-Ode…”
“Me too.”
“I do too!”
“I liked 5TAR”
“Me too!”
JYP smiled. “Well it’s 3 against 2 so K-Ode wins!”
“Yay! We have a name!!” Chae Yun cheered.
“K-Ode fighting!” Diana high fived everyone.
“Picture time!” Sora gathered the members, JYP and the assistant manager, “When will we debut?”she asked excited.
“Next week.” JYP brushed some dust off of his shining, neat desk.
“WHAT?!” The girls fell off of their chairs. “That’s wayyy too soon!!”
“I think you girls can do it.”
“But-” JiEun started
“Only one week-” Mi Young pouted.
“Is not enough!” Sora finished.
Chae Yun and Diana nodded vigorously.
JYP took out a CD. “No it’s not. We’ve prepared a debut song for a long time now. We also decided on an special intro.”
“Which is?” Mi Young asked a bit frustrated.
“You’ll sing with 2PM and dance with B2ST.”
“…….. You’re kidding right?” Ji Eun frowned and crossed her arms in front of her chest. She didn’t like this at all.
“No. Aren’t you happy?” JYP asked with a fake innocent tone. He knew this was a bit too much for the girls. But there couldn’t be a better timing than this!
“I guess…” Sora answered. “I mean, we’re debuting!”
“You’re right!” Chae Yun agreed. “We’re debuting!”
Diana and Mi Young sighed in defeat. “We have no choice now do we?”
JYP led the girls to the music studio to show them their first single. All they had to do was record the song.

“It sounds…….different” Chae Yun was surprised.
“Yes, we wanted a new sound for you. It would be no fun if you sounded exactly like the other groups right?” JYP said intelligently.
“But isn’t the music kinda weak for a first single?” Mi Young asked.
JYP shook his head. “I don’t think so. This song had a more mellow sound and it should be enough contrast to B2ST’s up tempo song. It’ll take care of enough variation.”
“I’m not buying it… I really don’t think this song will blow everyone’s mind.. Or at least stir up some attention.” Ji Eun looked at JYP with a hint of annoyance.
“You don’t get it. Groups nowadays want to go for the ‘fierce’ concept. I’m offering a more smooth type of music through you. I don’t think you’ll be overlooked.”
“What if we will?” Diana quietly asked.
An awkward silence filled the room.
“Yah, let’s record the song and we’ll see what happened afterwards.” Chae Yun said, “Besides, the song isn’t that mellow at all!”
“Maybe you’re right. Let’s just wait and see” Mi Young grinned. “Let’s GO~!”
The girls recorded the song in 1 day after trying out different sounds and different line ups.
The next day was reserved for practicing the intro/collabs.
12 boys awkwardly looked around. What were they supposed to do? One was having a comeback without their leader and one was debuting. They were too nervous to say anything.
JYP’s creepy grin at all of them didn’t help either. He’s up to something, all the boys knew it.
The girls walked in hand in hand but froze when they saw 15 guys and 2 women in the small room.
“Nickhun~!” Mi Young waved happily at 2PM and winked at Khun.
“Wooyoung!” Diana ran up to him and smiled at the others.
“Junho~! Taec! ChanSung!” Sora gave them a hug and bowed to the rest, blushing when she reached Nickhun.
“You know my brother?” Ji Eun asked surprised.
Sora turned around. “No way! He’s your BROTHER?!”
Chae Yun glanced at Junho then turned to Ji Eun. “You never told us!”
She just shrugged. “You never asked.”
“Yah! Lee Ji Eun! Did you forget your manners?!” Junho scolded.
“Yah! Lee Junho! Do you talk to your sister like that?!” Sora scolded in return.
“YAH! Calm down everyone! You’re scaring the new guys!” Mi Young yelled out.
JYP clapped his hand to get everyone’s attention. “It’s good to see you’re already feeling comfortable with each other,” JYP said, ignoring the fact that B2ST was sitting in their own corner awkwardly, “we’ll start with B2ST!”
The six boys stood up. They so didn’t want to be here. They’d rather collab with 4Minute.
“I shall make the pairings!” JYP smiled excited. He wanted another WonderBang. But this time it’ll be with people from his own company.
“Chae Yun with-”
“Wait! There’s only five of us!” Mi Young stopped him.
“I know. That’s why the leader gets two guys. As I was-”
“Why the leader?” Diana asked.
“Because she’s the oldest-”
“No she’s not. I’M the oldest!” Mi Young interrupted again.
“But she’s the leader so-”
“That’s unfair!” Sora butted in, amused by the looks they were getting.
“Why is it unfair?”
“Because! Why can’t one of us have TWO cute guys?” Mi Young said, oblivious of the stares.
“This is supposed to be the next big girl group?” Yoon Doo Joon whispered to Jang Hyun Seung.
The girls glared at him. “We heard that!”
Yong Jun Hyung sighed irritated. “Can’t we start already?! It isn’t a big deal anyways! Why can’t the girls just stand in between our members and then it’ll fit!”
“How so?” JYP asked.
“there’s a boy then a girl-boy-girl-boy-…..why am I saying all this?!?! GOD! It doesn’t matter who gets TWO guys!! Just dance and get it over with!”
“……..Change your attitude mister, we can’t work with you being all aggressive….” Mi Young pointed at him repeatedly.
“UGH! I give up!” He pouted and went to sit with AJ, Son Dong Woon and Yang Yo Seob.
“Easy man.” Dong Woon patted his back. “We have a loooong way to go.”
……
Well, that started off great…. JYP thought, how come there’s so much tension… I need to set the mood…

“OK! Let’s start with 2PM then. You guys can rest for a while.” JYP gave B2ST some drinks.
“You, my dear children, are going to sing ‘My Boo’.”
“EWW!!” Ji Eun and Junho yelled at the same time. “NOT WITH HIM/HER!!”
The girls giggled at the two siblings. They’re more alike than they think.
“Don’t worry, I wouldn’t pair you two up… In fact I paired you up with ChanSung and Wooyoung!”
Ji Eun nodded appreciatively.
“Chae Yun will be together with Junho…”
*What?!* She nearly choked on her water. She couldn’t even look him in the eye, no pun intended, and now she had to act all lovey dovey with him?! There’s no way she’ll make it through without stuttering, blushing or forgetting her lines!
“Sora with Nickhun..”
*……Did I hear that correctly?* She glanced at Nickhun who was smiling at her. Oops, she blushed again. Thanks a lot JYP…
“Junsu and Wooyoung with Mi Young..”
“Aww I wanted to get Nick..” she jokingly whined.
“Everybody does…” Junsu said sadly.
“And Diana with Taecyeon.”
She bowed a little. Too bad her partner isn’t Wooyoung….
B2ST groaned a little when they heard the song selection. They hoped they didn’t have to do a cheesy song as well.
They were completely frozen when they actually started singing.
They expected the girls were only about their looks and not talent.

I actually finished YG’s chapter before this one, but I messed up ^^;; i used a wrong band name *FAILS*
I was trying hard to think of the group name…
