The song sang like a lullaby to his lonely ears as he laid awake in his bed, unable to capture the pleasure that was known as 'sleep'. He tossed and turned over in his bed and was met face to face with the photograph resting upon his bedside. It was like a slap in the face as he stared at it. He felt the pain slowly seeping back into his central thought as tears welled up in his eyes. He reached his hand to touch her beautiful face. His finger brushed across her face quickly, as if it burnt him.
He shoved the photograph into the drawer and slammed it shut. It felt like he was literally shutting her away because he couldn't deal with the pain of their separation.

A/N - Yes, this is going to be a oneshot that I wrote while I was bored one day. I mean, I got to thinking about life and life's choices. People make decisions, and decisions make people. So I decided(haha) to write this.
