Raymond sat back down at his seat as soon as he saw Steven walk into the Sushi Bar. Steven walked passed Charmaine’s chair and accidentally bumped into it.
“I’m so sorry. Are you alright?” Steven apologised.
Charmaine who usually would get quite angry turned around seeing it was Steven who bumped into her, “I’m fine, Steven Ma from H&L Law Firm right?”
“You still remember me,” Steven replied.
“How can I forget, your much nicer and more helpful than that other arrogant lawyer at your firm,” Charmaine said referring to Raymond.
Steven knew exactly who she was referring to, “Raymond Lam, his always been like that.” Steven saw only one place setting at Charmaine’s table, “Having dinner by yourself?”
“Yep, my brothers not home to cook.”
“Same, mind if I join you?” Steven asked.
“Sure, take a seat.” Charmaine called over the waiter to get another place setting for Steven.
Meanwhile Raymond who was watching them from another table could feel himself burning up inside but he had no idea why he was getting so angry. He couldn’t hear them talking but could see that they were having an enjoyable conversation. He took a menu and covered his face moving to a table closer to them.
“Excuse me, I’m just going to go to the restroom,” Charmaine got up and walked over towards Raymond.
Raymond saw her walking over and quickly pretended to look at the menu and putting on his cool act.
“What do you want Raymond Lam? Why are you spying on me,” Charmaine said coldly.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about lady,” he said motionless.
“I’m a cop, I saw you creeping over to this table,” Charmaine continued to interrogate Raymond.
Raymond sat back on his chair, “Lady, do you own this Sushi Bar? Because as far as I know I can sit where ever I want…”
Charmaine really disliked his arrogant way, the temper inside her was once again increasing from every word Raymond was saying.
Steven had walked over to see what was going on; “Is everything alright Charmaine?”
“Steven,” Raymond greeted him callously.
“Raymond, how’s it going?” Steven said being extra nice patting him on the shoulder.
Raymond defiantly thought something was wrong, “Why are you being so nice?”
“Why are we even talking to you?” Charmaine pulled onto Steven’s arm was walked back to their table thinking how rude he was.
Raymond had strange feeling in him, he wasn’t sure if was anger or anything else but he defiantly didn’t like Charmaine being around Steven.
Charmaine slammed her hand on the table, “Stupid lawyer, thinks he’s so great, well his not… I seriously don’t get his problem…”
Throughout the whole meal the only subject Charmaine talked about was Raymond, mainly just complaining about him.

*Alexander Building, Floor 37, apartment D, 9:32pm*
Jessica walked out of the elevator after working overtime at the Department of Justice; usually she wouldn’t stay back but this was extreme circumstance. A plastic bag was left outside of her apartment with a note left inside. She looked inside the bag seeing several lunchboxes she read the note:
'Since you guys weren’t home I already pre-made dinner all you have to do is heat it up.'
Your Chef Bosco
“Wow, this kid must really like Bernice,” Jessica opened the front door and opened all the lunchboxes, it was as if Bosco cooked a three course meal, he even included desert and appetisers.

*Kowloon Police Station, 11:32am*
“We’ll be on our way,” Charmaine hung up her phone and rushed outside, “Put everything your doing on hold, there is a robbery a the Grand Jewel’s jewellery franchises, there are hostages and the robbers are armed with heavy weaponry. Everyone collect your bullet proof vests and meet at the car park in five minutes.”
Team A left everything they were doing and ran to get there vests then met outside in the car park.
“Kenneth, Linda and Bernice, you three go in one car. Bosco and I will ride in another car, estimate time of arrival is ten minutes. Reinforcements should be at the scene as we speak. Let’s Go!” Charmaine and Bosco jumped in a car and put the siren on heading to Grand Jewels.
Ten minutes later Charmaine and Bosco arrived, followed by Kenneth, Bernice and Linda. The entrance of the store was surrounded by police all pointing their guns at the entrance.
“We are the Hong Kong Police, you are surrounded. Put down your weapon’s and surrender,” Charmaine spoke over the loud speaker.
Several gunshots were fired straight after Charmaine stopped talking over the speaker; everyone took cover behind the cars. Charmaine and Bosco swung the car doors opened and hid behind it.
“Madam, what do we do now?” Bosco shouted over the gunshots.
The gunshots had stopped but the screaming of the hostages were still continuing, “Bosco come with me.”
Charmaine and Bosco stayed low and headed towards the control centre van, the van opened up and was filled with computers and sound detectors, “Madam Sheh, we tried tapping into the security camera’s but it seems they have disabled the main circuit,” an officer said.
“Do you have a blueprint of the building?” Charmaine asked.
“Yes, there are a total of three exits including the main entrance,” the officer printed the blueprint of the Grand Jewel’s store.
“Do you have any idea which room the offenders are at?”
The officer pointed at the main room on the second floor, “This is where all the expensive jewellery and the volt is kept, so I believe that most of the offenders should be here but from the audio capture we got earlier on we believe four men are also roaming around guarding the place.”
“How many hostages?” Charmaine asked studying the blueprint.
“We think there is about fifteen…”
“Any children or old people?”
“Not that we could hear from the audio capture,” the officer replied.
Charmaine turned to Bosco, “gather the rest of the team, we’re going in through the back doors.”
Charmaine and Bosco stepped outside the van where Kenneth, Bernice and Linda waited, “Study this blueprint, in three minutes we’re going in.”
Bosco who was very observant and could remember anything he sees took a quick look and already remembered the layout of the store.
“Everyone check your ear piece and mouth piece, Kenneth Bernice and Linda you three will enter at point A,” Charmaine pointed at one of the fire exits, “Bosco and I will enter at point B, there is roughly about fifteen hostages and four offenders on the move. Everyone clear?”
“Yes madam.”
Charmaine and Bosco headed towards the left while Kenneth Bernice and Linda went towards the right. Kenneth pushed the fire door open slightly and peeked inside, “All clear.” Kenneth pushed the door fully open pointing his gun and walked slowly up the stairs, Bernice and Linda followed closely behind him.
“Madam, we do not see any offenders at the moment,” Kenneth spoke into the mouthpiece.
“Be on a look out try not to make yourself visible if possible,” Charmaine gave orders. Charmaine and Bosco pull out their gun and point it downwards; Bosco pulls the door open slightly, “Clear madam.”
Charmaine and Bosco walked cautiously up the fire escape to the second floor, they reached the door leading to the hall way, Bosco looked through the window on the door and could see one of the robbers masked carrying a AK47 machine gun, and quickly bent down again.
“Madam, there is a target directly outside, his blocking the hallway to the other room,” Bosco whispered.
Charmaine stood up a little to take a look and squatted back down, Bosco closed his eyes flashing the picture of the blueprint, “Madam, there’s a room directly across this door which leads to another room, we won’t have to pass the hallway.”
Charmaine pushed the door slightly and took a glimpse waiting for the robber who was pacing to turn around and walk to the other direction, she watched carefully, “Go!” Charmaine and Bosco creep quietly to the door directly across the fire escape, Charmaine pulls on the handle, “It’s locked…”
