#Knock Knock#
Ron opened the door to Charmaine’s bedroom slightly and peeked inside to see if she was on the phone.
Charmaine was sitting on her bed playing her PSP, “What do you want Ron?” she asked knowing he was at the door.
“Did you make the call yet?” Ron asked sitting on her bed with a cheeky grin.
“Nope,” she answered still playing her game.
Ron was shocked to his very core, “Why not? Didn’t you just tell Raymond you were going to make the call…”
Charmaine put her game away, “I don’t even know the man. I only said that because that lawyer was insulting me, I’ll prove to him there’s nothing wrong with my type.”
Ron shook his head and sighed walking out of the room knowing he would have to wait long to have a brother in law.

*Chinese Calligraphy Exhibition, 11:14am*
Ron arrived at the exhibition and sat near the entrance waiting for Bernice to arrive. He sat there calming himself down, “Don’t worry Ron, it’s all good. No need to be nervous…”
Bernice had arrived at the entrance, “Ok Bernice, just be normal. You don’t need to get all nervous,” she said to herself.
She walked up to Ron who was sitting by the entrance, “Hi.”
“Hi,” Ron stood up, “umm… shall we head in?”
Ron and Bernice walked around the exhibition for a while looking at all the different types calligraphy, and Ron being the expert on things like this gave Bernice an insightful background on the history as well.
They reached a section in the exhibition where visitors are able to try and write calligraphy, which they are able to frame and keep.
Ron decided to take action, “Come with me,” he pulled on Bernice’s hand. He laid a piece of paper on the table and took out a calligraphy brush, his hands were shaking and he began to sweat.
Ron closed his eyes to gain focus and began to write. “Done!” Ron smiled at the result of his writing.
“Show me…” Bernice wanting to look at what he wrote.
Ron’s hands began to shake again holding his writing to Bernice. He stood there beginning to sweat again waiting for Bernice’s reaction.
“Be With Me?” Bernice read what Ron wrote and her eyes began to sparkle with joy, she walked closer to Ron and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Ron’s face showed a huge sign of relief as well as happiness, he took her hand and held it tightly, “Let’s go frame this.”

*Kowloon Police Station, 9:02am*
Charmaine walked into team A’s headquarters, “Morning.”
Bernice and Linda looked at her giggling; Kenneth was trying to hold his obvious smile in.
Charmaine raised an eyebrow, “What’s going on?”
Kenneth found it very hard to keep his smile in, “Oh… it’s nothing, we are just so happy.”
Bernice and Linda both got up from their chairs and gave Charmaine a long hug, “we are so happy for you madam.”
“Huh??” Charmaine confused as to what was going patted Bernice and Linda on the head and opened her office door. Steven turned around holding a bunch of roses in his hands. Charmaine’s eyes widened and quickly shut her door behind her.
Bernice, Linda and Kenneth ran to her door and tried to listen to their conversation.
“These are for you,” Steven handing Charmaine the flowers.
Charmaine gave an uneasy smile, “Thanks,” and sat down at her table.
“So how about dinner tonight?” Steven asked sitting on the chair across from Charmaine.
“I’m busy tonight,” Charmaine stuttered.
“How about tomorrow night then?”
“I don’t know either, you know being a police and all, we are always on call,” Charmaine pretending to look at files to avoid eye contact.
“You know I won’t give up until…” A knocking on the door interrupted Steven.
“Save by the knock,” Charmaine muttered to herself, “Come in.”
Bosco opened the door, “Madam we have a lead on the robbery.”
“Well I better get going now… I’m waiting for an answer,” Steven gave a sweet smile and left the station.
His smile was wiped off immediately as soon as he left the police department, “She’s so hard to crack…” he said to himself while dialling a number on his phone. The phone rang for a while, “Ada Choi please…”
Back at the station Bosco showed Charmaine the inventory analysis, “The type of machinery the robbers used had a mixture of bullet heads. Some of the bullet heads are the more common ones but there are some that are specially built.”
Charmaine looked at the pictures of the bullet heads, “Does the Weaponry Analysis Unit know where the bullet heads are made?”
“They said it’s a really new and rare type, so far there is no record of this type of bullet head.”
#Knock knock#
“Come in,” Charmaine said still looking at the two bullet heads.
Bernice opened the door, “Madam, a body has been found.”

*H&L Law Firm, 10:06am*
Steven walked into the firm with a smirk on his face, Raymond saw him coming and stood right in front of him blocking his way.
“What do you want Raymond Lam?”
Raymond took a step closer to Steven, “Leave Charmaine alone.”
“What do you mean?” Steven asked innocently, “I really like her.”
“I know you Steven Ma, she’s not the type you like.”
Steven laughed, “Well… things change,” Steven stepped pass Raymond and walked into his office, “that fool.”

*Crime Scene, Mountainside, 10:15am*
Team A arrived at the crime scene, the crime scene investigators had already examined the body.
“How was the body found?” Charmaine asked one of the officers at the crime scene.
“That old man found him, he was walking his dog when the dog pulled him over to the body,” the officer told her.
“Thanks,” Charmaine turned to Linda, “Linda, ask the old man how he exactly found the body.”
Charmaine and Bosco walked up to the forensic scientist, “How was the fatality caused?” Bosco asked.
“It was a direct gunshot to the head, point blank,” the forensic scientist shook his head, “the person who did this was really harsh, left the victim no chance.”
Charmaine and Bosco bent down and looked at the victim, he was topless and only wearing a pair of shorts. Bosco looked around to see if there were any possessions that might identify the victim. Charmaine looked a little closer and saw a semi-healed gunshot wound on the victims right shoulder.
“Bosco, call forensics and tell them to match the DNA of the victim with the DNA sample of robber that got away,” Charmaine told Bosco.
Bosco looked closely at the victim and saw the bullet wound, “Madam, do you think this is the same guy as the robber?”
“We’ll have to wait and see but I have a strong feeling it is.”

*Kowloon Police Station, 12:23pm*
“Madam, the report came out,” Bosco ran into he headquarters and showed the report to Charmaine.
She opened up the file, “It’s the same person.”
Kenneth, Bernice and Linda walked over to Charmaine, Kenneth looked at the report, “Who killed him and why?”
