Charmaine hugged Raymond tightly and with one eye on Derek, he turned back around and opened the door to the VIP room. Raymond had no idea what was happening but he could feel butterflies in his stomach.
Charmaine quickly let go of Raymond, “Sorry, but I had no choice.”
Raymond didn’t say anything but just stood in front of Charmaine staring at her.
Charmaine waved her hands in front of his face, “hello!”
Raymond’s heart began beating really fast, he grabbed onto Charmaine’s arms and pulled her really close to him planting a kiss on her lips, he pulled away quickly realising what he had just done.
Raymond wasn’t sure if it was the little bit of alcohol in him that he dared to perform such an action but it was as if he couldn’t control himself, “Sorry…” and left the bar straight away.
Charmaine stood at the hallway shocked as to what Raymond just done, usually she would chase after him and beat him up a little but she didn’t. She stood in the hallway for a long time having no clue what to do next.
“Madam?” Bosco tapped her on the shoulder waking her up from her daze.
“Huh?” Charmaine turning around to Bosco.
“I followed the guy for a while and he just walked around not really doing much, then he just walked back into the bar,” Bosco told Charmaine.
Charmaine was still a little light headed from Raymond’s kiss, “Umm… I think they knew we were following them; we’ll call it a night.”

*Super Market, 10:18am*
“What should we make for lunch?” Bernice asked throwing some chips I the trolley.
“Lunch? What about dinner?” Ron tiding up the trolley so everything was in order.
“I have to work tonight, have a case to follow.”
“I think I might give my sister a chat, she’s making you work too hard,” Ron started unload the trolley at the checkout.
“It’s a hard case with not many leads,” Bernice said watching Ron unload the trolley.
Ron and Bernice exited the supermarket to find Bosco standing near the door looking at his watch.
“Bosco!” Ron shouted out to him.
“Hey, what are doing here?”
Bernice looked at Ron, “What do you think Bosco? We’re shopping.”
Bosco looked at Ron and Bernice holding hands, a big cheeky smile appeared on his face, “you two are dating?
“Sure am,” Ron holding his and Bernice’s hand up, “the funniest thing was that Jessica thought Bernice was dating you,” Ron and Bernice both laughed hysterically.
Bosco’s eyes bludged extra big, “What?! Where did she get that from?”
“It’s because you come to our house too often and she thinks that’s because you were trying to pursue me,” Bernice putting a shopping bags on the ground.
“Bosco!” Myolie stopped her car and got out.
“Hey, what a coincident. What kind of a day is this? Everyone meeting up at the supermarket. Let me introduce you, Myolie this is Ron,” Bosco introduced, “and you already know Bernice.”
Ron shook Myolie’s hand, “Wow! Bosco you sure have a lot of groceries.”
Bosco was hold four shopping bags filled to the top, “Two bags are for me and Ray and the other two is for Bernice and Jessica, but seeing Bernice already has someone to buy food for her, these are just for your sister.”
Myolie was beginning to notice that Bosco showed extreme care for Jessica, although she wasn’t 100% sure but she knew Jessica would be a threat to her dating Bosco.

*On the way back to Alexander Building, 10:48am*
“You didn’t have to walk me home, usually it’s the male who walks the female home, now your making me feel like a girl,” Bosco said to Myolie jokingly.
“You have to give me a chance to be a man,” Myolie joked along.
Jessica was on the other side of the street and saw Bosco and Myolie laughing and joking with each other, “Oh… so Bosco’s going out with Myolie.”
Bosco and Myolie arrived at the front gate of the Alexander Building with Jessica arriving behind them shortly.
“Hey guys,” Jessica greeted Bosco and Myolie.
“Hey, this is for you,” Bosco handed her the two bags of shopping.
“Thanks,” Jessica took the two bags off Bosco, “what are you going to cook us next? Maybe you and Ron can have a competition.”
“Sure, but I have the upper hand, I’ve been cooking for you guys for a long time,” Bosco boasted with confidence.
“Yeh but you have someone who will be obviously bias,” Jessica laughed.
Myolie watched as Bosco and Jessica chatted, she felt unease about the whole situation.

*Kowloon Police Department, 8:12pm*
Charmaine hadn’t been home since the night Raymond kissed her, she wasn’t sure why but she was afraid that she would bump into him but since that night the only thing she could think about was Raymond, and the only thing for her to keep her mind off the whole situation was to work.
She sat for a while thinking it was strange of Derek to just roam around not doing anything productive, it was as if someone had tipped him off about him being followed. Charmaine walked out of her room, “Bosco, check Derek Kwok’s phone records with the phone company, I want to know who he came in contact with in the past three days.”
Bosco immediately made a phone call to the phone company, moments later Derek Kwok’s phone record for the past three days had been faxed over. Team A gathered around and scanned the list.
“It could be anyone,” Linda said scanning through one of the pages.
Charmaine browsed through and came across a familiar name, “Kenny Wong,” she highlighted the name and time, which the phone call was called in.
“Isn’t Kenny Wong the assistant of Ada Choi?” Bosco asked.
“I think we better go to the Grand Jewel’s office tomorrow and ask him about this call, in the mean time I think you guys can go home now since there’s nothing to do until tomorrow,” Charmaine walked back into her room and sat on her chair making notes.
Bernice knocked on her door, “you coming madam?”
“I think I might stay back a while,” Charmaine still not wanting to go home yet.
“You look like you haven’t slept in days and no offence but I think you might need a shower,” Bernice joked and left the station.
Charmaine leaned back on her chair and pondered whether she should go home or not, “Well I have to go home some day. Hopefully he won’t be there.”

*H&L Law Firm, 8:20pm*
Raymond had also been living in his office every since the night he kissed Charmaine. He wasn’t really sure what to do, more so he was afraid he would make her angry again so he decided to stay at the office until he figured something out.
“Ray what are you still doing here?” Rain popped in his office.
“I’m reading,” Raymond grabbed a book off his table and flipped to a random page, “Why are you still here?”
“I forgot something. You look like you haven’t gone home for a long time, go home and take a shower,” Rain left after saying those words.
Raymond got up and put his coat on, “Raymond Lam, you have to go home some day.”

*Alexander Building Poolside, 9:01pm*
Charmaine arrived outside the building; she was quite hesitant about going in, not only afraid but no really knowing what to do if she saw Raymond. She sat by the poolside on the bench, “Why are you so scared Charmaine? Remember you dislike that lawyer, your not meant to be scared of someone you don’t like…” Charmaine reminded herself and took a brave step into the lobby, to her surprise Raymond was waiting for the elevator.
Raymond saw Charmaine, he had no idea what to do but gave her an awkward smile and also hoping she wouldn’t hit him. Charmaine quickly avoided eye contact and waited for the elevator next to him.
The elevator door opened, “You first,” Raymond insisting Charmaine to go in first.
Charmaine walked in quickly and back against the wall, Raymond stood at the front. Charmaine looked at Raymond’s reflection in the mirror, she looked closer seeing a not so snobby side.

The elevator jolted a bit then darkened leaving only one dimmed light on, “What happened?” Charmaine asked stunned by the jolt.
Raymond rang the alarm bell on the key panel, “I think elevators stuck.”
