Raymond stopped the doctor and nurse walking pass, “Where I can find the officer that was injured?”
“Sorry sir but we can’t expose patient details,” the doctor answered.
Raymond’s ran around the hospital to every room searching for Charmaine. His heart was racing not knowing where she was or how she was doing, his eyes were red and watery, he held back his tears and ran up and down the hospital still looking but the hospital was too big. Raymond came to a stop and crouched down leaning against the wall with his head down.
Charmaine walked out of a room with a bandage around her arm, she recognised Raymond crouching down on the floor, “Raymond?”
Raymond looked up, a tear dropped down from his eye seeing Charmaine. He stood up and ran across the hall and wrapped his arms around her and kissed her as if he would never see her again. He looked her in the eyes then hugged her tightly in his arms not letting her go.
Raymond was hugging her so tight she couldn’t really breathe, “Ray, you’re squashing me.”
Raymond let go of Charmaine, “Charmaine Sheh, you scared me did you know that?”
Charmaine looked Raymond in the eyes and smiled, “I’m fine.”
Raymond raised his voice, “If anything were to happen to you, then what will happen to me? You’re the most important person in my life, I really thought I lost you,” his voice was shaking still from the fear and anger.
Charmaine wasn’t sure why, maybe it was Raymond’s angry tone of voice but tears began to fall from her eyes.
“Why are you crying?” Raymond’s voice soften up, he wiped the tears off her cheeks.
“I don’t know…” more tears came streaming out of Charmaine’s eyes.
Raymond was about to hug her but he saw Ron and Bernice approaching them from behind.
“Hey,” Ron greeted Raymond, he turned around and saw Charmaine’s eyes all red and teary, “Did you make my sister cry?”
“Umm…” Raymond could find the right words to say.
“Because she doesn’t cry easy, come to think of it I don’t think I’ve ever seen her cry before,” Ron continued to say.
Charmaine hit Ron on the arm, “Don’t tell him that!”
“Have you seen my sister?” Bernice asked.
Raymond kept on staring at Charmaine heart broken from her tears, “I saw heading up to ward B.”
Jessica searched the hospital trying to find Bosco, “He better be ok,” she said under her breath. She had totally forgot about the news report saying a female officer was injured, after finding Bernice safe she could help but to think about Bosco. She had a strange feeling that Bosco was injured, she walked passed the Hospital canteen and saw a very familiar backside. She took a step closer.
“Man, I’m hungry,” Bosco turned around with a plate of food.
“Bosco Wong!” Jessica yelled across the canteen. She stormed over to Bosco who was confused of the whole situation.
“What’s up?”
“What’s up? I thought you were the one who got shot and now that your fine you didn’t even bother to inform me,” Jessica said quite angrily.
“I didn’t know you knew, so I didn’t tell you,” Bosco answered quite scared of Jessica.
“You should have told me anyway, from now on you have to tell me whether you are safe or not,” Jessica demanded.
Bosco stood back a little, “Why?”
“Because I said… I just want to know.”
Bosco put his tray on the table, “Do you want to know because you care about me more than just a friend that cooks for you?”
Jessica didn’t say anything but just stood there, Bosco moved closer to her, “Do you want to know because you feel that you can’t live without my cooking now?”
Jessica still didn’t say anything, Bosco shifted even closer to her and reached out and held her hand, “Do you want to know because you like me?”
Myolie came rushing in the hospital hearing the news that everyone else had heard; she waked around looking for Bosco and stopped at the entrance of the canteen. The worried look on her face disappeared seeing Bosco holding onto Jessica’s hand. Myolie walked closer to hear what they were saying.
“Bosco I…” Jessica began to say but saw Myolie standing near the entrance, she immediately used her other hand and held onto Bosco, “Of course I like you.”
Bosco’s eyes lit up with happiness, Jessica kept her eyes on Myolie. She glared at Jessica then turned around and left. As soon as Myolie left Jessica pulled her hand away from Bosco.
“Sorry, but Myolie was there… Bosco you’re a great guy but the only thing is that you’re younger than me. Its my problem.”
Bosco smiled with confidence, “It’s ok, I have confidence. But in the meantime do you want to eat with me?”
Jessica nodded and sat down with Bosco.

*H&L Law Firm, 5:32pm*
Steven sat in his office and waited for everyone to leave. Once everyone was out of the office he walked into Raymond’s room and switched on his computer. He plugged in a USB memory stick that Ada gave him, which cracked the password to log into his computer. Steven began to upload the files onto Raymond’s computer.
At this time Raymond had returned to the office to pick some documents up, he walked to close to his office and noticed that his door was open. Steven dialled Ada’s number.
“Hello, Ms. Choi. I’m up loading the files on Raymond’s computer now,” Steven said with a smirk on his face.
Raymond stopped by his door and listened in to what Steven to the conversation he had on the phone.
“He wouldn’t know what hit him, that fool. Once the partners look into the account files and see what transactions he has done with the client accounts not only will he loose his lawyer practising licence, I’m sure he wouldn’t be able to get away with fraud either.”
Steven finished loading the files and shut Raymond’s computer down. Raymond quickly walked away from his room and entered the lunchroom and closed the door slightly. He waited a few minutes until he saw Steven leaving the firm.
Raymond walked back into his room and switched his computer on and logged in. “What’s that guy up to?” he asked himself as he searched through his clients account files. The found the files Steven uploaded and clicked in, all the transactions show usage of clients money in Raymond’s name. Raymond copied all the files onto his USB memory stick then shut his computer off and left the building.

*Alexander Building, Floor 38, 7:12pm*
Raymond arrived at his front door and stood there with his keys in his hands thinking about what Steven was up to. He was thinking so hard he didn’t even realise Charmaine was standing behind him.
“What are you thinking about?” Charmaine asked.
Raymond jumped out of fright, “Hey.”
“So what are you thinking about?” Charmaine asked again.
“I’m thinking about you of course,” Raymond leaned forward and put his arm around Charmaine.
Charmaine pulled Raymond into her apartment and put her hands over Raymond’s eyes, “I have a surprise for you.”
“What is it?”
Charmaine lifted her hands from Raymond’s eyes, he stood there for a while not really knowing what the surprise was but being the great boyfriend he is, he pretended to be surprised, “Wow!!” Raymond said searching around the room trying to see what was different.
“You really think its that good?” Charmaine asked very happily.
Raymond was till trying to see what the surprise was, “Yeh, its great, the best actually,” he kept looking around seeing nothing that surprising.
Charmaine saw him looking around, “You don’t see it do you?”
He walked up to her with a cheesy grin, “I have no idea what your surprise is. I don’t see anything.”
Charmaine took a plate off the dinning table and showed Raymond. He looked at it for a while, “What is it?”
“It’s a cake,” shoving in his face.
Raymond stared at it for long time, “It’s a cake? Why is it cut vertically down the middle? Then cream in between the cut bit?”
“Well the recipe said cut it down the middle, so I did but then I realised that your meant to cut it horizontally,” Charmaine passed the cake to Raymond.
“Why is the cake all burnt on one side but on the other side it looks uncooked?” Raymond asked putting the cake on the table.
“Stop asking questions and just eat it!”
Raymond grabbed a piece and placed it near his mouth his hands were shaking. Lucky Raymond was saved by key rattling noises in the hallway; he threw the cake back on the plate and ran into Charmaine’s room and shut the door making a loud bang just as Ron walked through the doors.
“I’m home!” Ron shouted out.
“Why are you here?” Charmaine asked quite angry that Ron is the one that always ruins her spending time with Raymond.
Ron shook his head a little out of confusion, “Because I live here. Anyways, I heard your door shut, is someone here?”
“No one’s here,” Charmaine said standing by her door.
“Ok,” Ron walked to his room having a strange and very suspicious feeling; he could sense that Charmaine was hiding something but just couldn’t make out what it was.
