Ron and Bernice were busily cooking in the kitchen while Raymond and Charmaine were on the couch watching TV.
Ron brought the food from the kitchen, “Dinners ready.”
Raymond and Charmaine jumped off the couch, “Haven’t had a decent meal for such a long time,” Raymond said shuffling Charmaine along to the dinner table.
Charmaine and Raymond dug into the food straight away as if they hadn’t eaten before, “So this is what we’ve been missing out on for the past few months. While you guys are downstairs having a great feast every night I’m stuck eating burnt food or food that isn’t even cooked properly,” Raymond looked at Charmaine.
Charmaine got up and got another bowl of rice, “I thought you said you liked my food.”
“I still can’t believe that you two are going out,” Bernice laughed.
Ron took a sip of some soup, “I know, hey Raymond last time at the jewellery store the sales lady said that you bought…”
Before Ron could finish what he was saying Raymond jumped in and interrupted him, “Ah… the lady said I bought a tie clipping thing.” Raymond eyed Ron not to say anything.
Charmaine sat back down, “Is that what you bought last time, why couldn’t you show me then?”
“I find my tie clipping things to be very private so I don’t like to show people.”
“Fair enough,” Charmaine continued eating.
After dinner Ron pulled Raymond into his room and shut the door, “What do you want Ron?”
“Since you stopped me from asking you outside, I will ask you in private then,” Ron moved uncomfortably close to Raymond, “Was that sales lady right? Did you really buy that ring?”
Raymond smiled and nodded his head, Ron moved even closer to Raymond, “Is that why you wouldn’t let me buy that ring?”
Raymond gave a cheeky smile and nodded his head.
Ron moved back from Raymond, “I cannot believe it, are you going to ask my sister to marry you?”
“I want to.”
Ron moved forwards and hugged Raymond, “I just cant believe it, my best and friend with my sister. I didn’t realise you guys were that serious and I also didn’t realise that you like her that much, mainly its because you guys pretended to hate each other.”
“Well I think she’s great and I really want to spend the rest of my life looking after her,” Raymond said.
#Knock knock#
“Ron, I’m coming in,” Charmaine opened the door and saw Ron and Raymond hugging, she and Bernice stood there staring at them, “What are you guys doing?”
Raymond quickly let go of Ron, “Nothing.”
Ron kept smiling at Charmaine knowing that Raymond was going to ask her to marry him.
Charmaine turned to Bernice, “Can you ask your boyfriend to stop smiling at me in a creepy way.”
“I don’t find him creepy,” Bernice said sitting on Ron’s bed.
Ron was till smiling at Charmaine, Raymond nudged him on the arm hinting to not make anything too obvious.

*Department of Justice, 8:55am*
Myolie waited outside the department of justice for Jessica to arrive. Jessica walked towards the entrance and Myolie standing there, she wasn’t sure whether to go up to or just ignore her.
“Jessica!” Myolie ran up to her.
“Hi,” Jessica greeted her uneasily.
“I just came here to apologies for my behaviour, I didn’t know what I was thinking. I’m sorry,” Myolie kept apologising.
Jessica could see Myolie was desperate for her forgiveness, “It’s alright, I understand that relationships can be complicated. I really hope that you can find someone better suited for you.”
Myolie shook Jessica’s hand, “Thank you so much, I really hope that we can put everything into the past and be friends.”
Jessica smiled, “Better to have more friends than enemies,” she looked at her watch, “sorry I have to go now, we will catch up later. Bye.”
Myolie waved her goodbyes to Jessica and watched her walk into the department of justice, her smiling face disappeared once Jessica stepped inside, “Let’s be friends, HA how naïve of her to think that.” Myolie walked off shaking her head with an evil smirk somewhat similar to Ada.

*Kowloon Police Station, 10:19am*
“Linda, check which officer was the one that shot Sunny Chan causing him to die?” Charmaine passed Sunny Chan’s file to her.
Linda logged onto the Hong Kong Police database, where every existing or non-existing police officer profiles can be located. Linda typed in Sunny Chan’s name and police identification number.
“Madam, it says that there were two officers that shot Sunny Chan, one of them was you?” Linda actually quite shocked seeing Charmaine was one of the officers that shot Sunny Chan.
“Yeh, I remember I shot him in the leg back in my uniformed policing days,” Charmaine explained.
Linda clicked into Charmaine’s profile, “It says here that you just graduated not so long ago from the police academy and that you graduated with the highest grades and honours. It also says that you have one of the highest accuracy firing skills in the police force. Wow! Madam, I had no idea that you have such a great record.” Linda looked at Charmaine with admirable eyes.
“Stop looking at me like that. Can we please continue with the case? Who was the other officer that shot Sunny Chan?”
Linda continued to scroll down the page, “The other officer is Joe Ma.”
“Which department does he work at? Maybe he can give us more information which may help out case,” Charmaine pulled over a chair and sat down.
“It says here that he worked under Michael Miu, but a few years ago he was in a car accident and died,” Linda turned the computer screen and showed Charmaine.
“Was there any suspicion for the accident?” Charmaine asked.
“The forensic team back then didn’t find anything suspicious.”
Charmaine stood up, “Send me the Joe Ma’s profile and everything you can gather from his accident. Also send me every article published in the paper about Sunny Chan’s death.”
Charmaine walked out of the headquarters towards the canteen, “Why is it when there is a new lead, it seems to lead to a dead end?”

*Alexander Building, Floor 37 Apartment D, 6:45pm*
Jessica stepped inside her apartment, Bosco was already in the kitchen cooking away, he was back to his old routine, “Your home.”
“How did you get in? I thought Bernice was out with Ron?” Jessica asked putting her things down.
“She gave me a set of keys,” Bosco yelled from the kitchen.
“She what?”
Bosco came running out of the kitchen, “Your not angry are you?”
Jessica sat on the couch, “No, I just thought if you had keys to my apartment it will be from me.”
Bosco sat down beside her and took the keys out from his pocket and gave them to Jessica, “Here. Now you cant give them back to me.”
Jessica took the keys back then gave them back to Bosco, he gave a huge surprise reaction, “Wow, never expected you’d give me a key to your house.”
Jessica’s phone rang, she looked at the caller ID, “Hello Myolie?”
Bosco jumped up hearing Myolie’s name, “Ask her what she wants,” he whispered.
“Sure dinner would be great, do you want Bosco to come? Ok see you then. Bye,” Jessica hung up the phone.
“What were you thinking having dinner with Myolie, if you don’t remember she was a bit crazy over me.”
Jessica started laughing and pulled him back on the couch, “I talked to her today, she said she was sorry and was just having a rough time. She just wants to be friends with us again, is that too much to ask?”
Bosco gave an uncertain look, “Fine, I’ll give it a try. Having a friend is better than having an enemy.” Although Bosco said he will try to patch his relationship with Myolie but he still felt uneasy about the whole situation.
