Bosco didn’t know how to answer Myolie, he couldn’t believe what she was asking him to do.
“What is it Bosco? You either marry me or Jessica dies,” Myolie said coldly, “I’ll give you a few hours to think about it,” and hung up.
Bosco sat back on the couch, “Why is she doing this?” he asked himself. He sat all night thinking about his choice but a clear answer was already in his head. He called Myolie back, “It’s me.”
“What’s your answer?” Myolie asked.
“I’ll do it.”

*Alexander Building, Floor 38 Apartment A, 7:48am*
Charmaine was in the bathroom getting ready while Raymond was still lying around on the bed. Charmaine’s phone rang, “Mrs. Lam your phone’s ringing!” he shouted out.
“Can you pick it up and tell them to wait,” she shouted back from the bathroom.
Raymond leaned over and picked her phone up, “Hello?” but the person on the other side hung up.
Charmaine walked back into the room, “Who was it?”
“Don’t know they hung up,” Raymond said pulling Charmaine onto the bed.
Her phone rang again, “Hello.”
Steven was on the other side of the phone, “Hello, Charmaine? I rang before and hung up because Raymond answered the phone. I wasn’t sure if he knew about what we were doing.”
Charmaine stood up and walked out of the room, “Did they contact you about when you have to meet with them?”
Raymond walked to his door and watched Charmaine talking very secretive.
“They said today at midnight. I’ll meet you somewhere so we can go together. Don’t tell Raymond though no one is meant know,” Steven said.
“Ok, see you then,” Charmaine hung up the phone and turned around with Raymond standing right behind her.
“Who was that?” he asked.
“Um… it was just Kenneth asking me something about a case,” Charmaine couldn’t help but lie to Raymond, she didn’t want him to find out she was out investigating with Steven especially when she knows how much Raymond hates that guy. “I might be at the station late tonight, don’t wait up for me.”
Raymond watched Charmaine walk back into the bedroom, he could sense she was hiding something from him but at this point he didn’t question it.

*Choi Mansion, 11:28am*
Bosco arrived at the Choi Mansion. He rang the doorbell and the double gates opened up. He walked inside very cautious of his surrounding; Myolie was waiting for his at the front. She ran to him and gave him a hug, “Bosco, your finally here.”
Bosco tried freeing himself from Myolie, “Where is Jessica?”
Myolie didn’t like Bosco mentioning Jessica’s name, she let him go and walked into the mansion. Bosco followed her in, “Where is she? Answer me!”
Myolie sat on the lounge and switched the TV on. Bosco watched the TV and saw Jessica stranded somewhere he couldn’t tell where it was. Her arms and legs were tied up. A blindfold covered her eyes and a piece of cloth was stuffed in her mouth preventing her to talk. Bosco stormed up to Myolie, “What are you doing to her?”
“I will release her after we get married. I know you love me but I don’t want her ruining our special day. I want to 100% guarantee that nothing will go wrong,” Myolie said pulling Bosco down next to her.
Bosco had no choice but to do as Myolie said, “Don't hurt her, that’s all I want.”

*On the street, 5:05pm*
Raymond had finished his meeting with a client. He left the hotel where he had his meeting and walked to get his car. He opened his car door and threw his things inside. He looked over on the other side of the street and saw Charmaine. He took out his mobile to call her but then saw Steven walking towards Charmaine. Raymond kept watching them two deep in conversation, he dialled her number and watched her pick up her phone.
“Hey Ray, what’s up?”
Raymond kept watching Charmaine and Steven across the road, “Where are you? Do you want to have dinner with me tonight?” Raymond heart was pounding waiting for Charmaine’s answer.
Charmaine didn’t want to but had no choice but to lie again, “I’m still at the station. I have some work to do; I’ll be back a bit later. Bye.”
Raymond’s heart sank to the bottom hearing those lies coming out of Charmaine’s mouth, he hung up the phone and stood there watching them across the road. He got in his car and drove home.

*Alexander Building, Floor 38 Apartment A, 8:54pm*
Raymond was sitting on the couch waiting for Charmaine to come home, he was thinking about whether he should ask her about the lie she told or to just pretend it never happened.
Charmaine wasn’t going to come home and go straight to meet the people with Steven but she forgot something and had to pick it up at home. She walked in the door and saw Raymond sitting there motionless.
“Hey Ray, what are you doing?” Charmaine asked casually.
Raymond didn’t answer her but just sat there, she walked into the bedroom and grabbed a sound recorder and put it in her pocket and walked out again.
“I’m going to out all night so don’t wait up,” Charmaine opened the front door.
“Where are you going?” Raymond asked coldly.
Charmaine stopped, “I’m going back to the station.”
“Or are you going out with Steven?” he asked.
Charmaine turned around, “I uh…”
“Nothing to say. I saw you two together, then I called you and you lied to me,” Raymond said standing up.
Charmaine walked up to him, “I’m sorry, I couldn’t tell you because…” Charmaine hesitated a little, she couldn’t tell him.
“Because of what?” Raymond asked.
Charmaine knew if she didn’t tell Raymond then things would get worst, “Steven said he is meeting up with the people that blackmailed him. He wants me to go with him, I have to investigate on this.”
“Steven is not a good guy. I don’t think this blackmail thing is real anyway,” Raymond raised his voice a little.
“Even if it’s not real I still have to investigate on it. It’s my job,” Charmaine began raising her voice a little. “Don’t be so stubborn about this situation.”
“I’m being stubborn? Don’t you understand what I’m trying to say, I know Steven. He’s not a good guy and he never will. He’s not a guy that can be trusted, you just don’t get it do you?” Raymond yelled, he was filling up with anger; he didn’t understand why she couldn’t see that Steven was not someone to be trusted.
“Why don’t you understand that this is my job?” Charmaine yelled back at him.
“I’m asking you once more are you going to go with him?” Raymond asked calmly.
Charmaine was burning up with anger as well, she couldn’t understand why Raymond didn’t get her view, “I am going to go with him!”
Raymond didn’t say a word but stormed out of the apartment slamming the door behind him. Charmaine sat on the couch furious at why Raymond wouldn’t understand this is her job.

*Choi Mansion, 9:31pm*
Bosco was in the guest room guarded by three other men. He was unwillingly trying on suits for the wedding with Myolie. He had to find a way to know locate Jessica.
Myolie walked inside, “I knew this suit will fit you.”
“When are you going to let Jessica go?” Bosco asked.
“I said after we get married,” Myolie sat on a chair and switched the TV on. Again Jessica appeared on the TV, she was struggling trying to free herself.
Bosco looked carefully to see if he could tell where she was, he looked carefully before Myolie switched the TV off, “You better be prepared for the big day tomorrow,” and left the room.
Bosco has a specialty of having a photographic memory, he closed his eyes and pictured the place where Jessica was locked up, he searched his mind for some clues. He noticed Jessica’s hair had a lot of movement, which meant she wasn’t in an enclosed room. He noticed a slight flashing of a really small light, the light would flashing constantly. Bosco thought about it for a while, if his prediction was right then Jessica should be there.
“I need to go to the bathroom,” Bosco walked into the bathroom and took out his mobile and messaged Kenneth and Linda straight away.
